Up North

This was an enjoyable weekend getaway. The Lake is where it’s at. We did do a fire and that was fun but the fishing and swimming was awesome.

Mini Get Away

After a few minor issues, it was a nice relaxing mini vacation for my husband, I and our two fur children. We were a little disappointed that there was only the one TV which was located in the lower level and the gas fireplace was not working so it was very cold down in that area, there was separate heat in the one bedroom and bathroom in that area but that heat never did make it out in the TV area in our whole stay, would have been nice to have even a smaller TV upstairs. Our first morning waking up, the baseboard heat located in the Livingroom and kitchen had stopped working overnight and it was chilly, we left a voicemail and email for the contact person, in which he called us back, there was a back-up heat system that was ran off a smart thermostat that he was able to start so that we had heat upstairs. Our fur children LOVED the fenced in yard that alone made me very happy to see them having so much fun chasing each other.With the beautiful sunrises & sunsets, you won't be disappointed.

Great place!

We had a great time with the pups! The fenced in yard was such a plus. The deck was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee. We didn't use the tub so don't know how that works. We left some spices to be used by others. The pizza oven was fun to use. The couch downstairs is AMAZING!! My husband slept in it and loved it. LOTS of room! We hope to stay there again next year!

Great location

Unfortunately we had to go up north for my dads funeral which is on the LCO reservation and we wanted to have a cabin on a lake that was close to everything. This cabin was perfect. You are 5-15 minutes from stone lake to Hayward, it was so convenient. The cabin itself was exactly how it was described on the listing. It was very clean and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. We also rented the pontoon boat which made our days more relaxing. We had just one issue and Stacy came up and fixed it that very day. They wanted to make sure we had a good experience so they didn’t wait. So overall great experience. Thank you!

Relax at the Lake

Stayed at Ron de Voo on Sand Lake with my family and enjoyed the pontoon and swimming everyday. The cabin is comfortable and great for small kids and a dog because of a small fenced area that connects to the awesome covered deck overlooking the lake.

Cabin in Stone Lake

Overall a very nice cabin. Nice view of the clear lake and easy location to find. We did find some dishes/silverware that needed to be re-washed and the tub jets must be rusty, because the bubbles were brown, so disappointed in that and a 10am check out is pretty early, but everything else was great. We really enjoyed ourselves!

On the Lake

Property was all that’s advertised and more. Owners were a pleasure to deal with. The pontoon boat made it so that we didn’t want to be anywhere else. Would most definitely stay here again when in this part of the country.

Great Location

The hosts were extremely flexible with snow storm causing a mess, and amazing communicators the entire weekend. Driveway was plowed more often than we expected as winds caused drifts. The cabin has amazing views and I think the views of the lake without snow would be amazing. We love that our dogs could come and have a huge fenced area. We appreciated cooking in, but also enjoyed the nearby Pub and getting groceries or anything you may have forgotten from the nearby stores (don't know if we can say names, so not saying names) - meaning the location is great. There are plenty of pots and pans for what you need to cook, but bring your own spices/seasonings/foil/oil/non-stick spray (which is not a negative, just a heads up). The covered deck, which we could not use in a snowstorm, would be amazing in a non blizzard time. The basement "TV area" was awesome for our kids. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home! We truly loved it.

Very pet friendly!!!

We loved everything about this property but I was EXTREMELY impressed with how pet friendly it was with a fenced in yard that attached to the porch and wrapped all the way around the house!

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed the cabin, deck and the pet friendly yard and lake property! Being able to have our pontoon and enjoy the swimming right at the dock was fun for the kids!

Great location and beautiful views!

The location of this property and the views are awesome. minuets from Hayward and there are many great restaurants that are in a short driving distance. The gas station located across the street is very handy as well. We enjoyed fishing (lots of perch, walleye, small mouth, pike and Muskie), swimming from our boat and by the pier. The fenced in yard is perfect for dogs and is attached to the upper deck so the dogs can enjoy the deck with you.

Not at all what was advertised. Stay away from this property.

We never stayed. We were supposed to check in at 4 and still by 5:15 they weee still cleaning. We left and they will told me they will not refund me. Bad bad bad.

Great stay! Beautiful lake!

This house and accommodations were great for our family! We were all kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming right off the pier and had so much fun! The fire pit was used every night and its location gave more amazing views of the lake. Hayward is close and we enjoyed mini-golf, and the candy store but we really didn't want to leave the house and all the fun available. Also, the yard for the dogs was fantastic! Totally fenced in and wraps around to the lake front porch. It was a wonderful trip for the whole family!

Very nice stay on Stone Lake

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property. The accomodations were comfortable. Spent a lot of time on the covered deck overlooking the lake. The fenced in yard worked well for our dog.

My stay

The cabin had a great view of the river from the front porch. I was disappointed with the upkeep of the property. No curtains. Dirty windows. Outside porches dirty. Torn and stained bedding blankets. None of the closets doors were on track and wouldn't stay closed. Other than those things listed, we did have a great time with family!

Wolf Pack hangs in Stone Lake

Great property on a beautiful lake. Early mornings with the sun on a beautiful porch over looking the lake. A lot of hummingbirds and other animals of interests. Restaurants, coffee shops and stores are a short drive away.

Nice cabin on the lake

Cozy and clean property. Large fenced yard was perfect for the pups, and they loved playing in the snow. The view was excellent, even during the winter with a frozen lake. Note that as of this review, the fireplace/stove in the living room on the main floor is nonfunctional and for decoration only. The one in the lower level, however, does work. We spent a couple of cozy nights curled up on the couch in front of the fire and watching movies. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would book again, especially in warmer months where we could enjoy more of the amenties.
