This property has such potential. Check-in was simple, communication ahead of our arrival was excellent. The home had plenty of space for our group of 7. The location within the property was also good as it was right by the pool and lazy river. Shopping and restaurants were nearby. The private pool was also a bonus and we enjoyed sunning on the veranda.The problems we encountered - the code to the gate of the property did not work. We communicated with the management company, but never did get a code that worked. I think the gate was broken. The master bedroom is on the second floor. My husband and I stayed on the first floor and let our adult kids take over the second floor. The first night we slept on an upside down pillow-top mattress that had a mattress pad and sheets over it. We couldn’t figure out why it was so uncomfortable. We were basically sleeping on wood and springs! That bedroom got very hot at night making it hard to sleep. The skillets were very scratched up t-fal and difficult to use as everything stuck to them. We had 4 pool towels and just enough bath towels. No extras. It felt like it was just a rental investment property. I I have been spoiled by the other VRBO homes I’ve visited. Usually they have a nice game closet, good cookware and a few spices, shampoo, conditioner and soap and even hand soap. This one did not. But it did have WiFi, a pool, and a good location.
