Riverbank Taupo Retreat is a 4 bedroom holiday home with a comfortable, warm, and family-friendly atmosphere. This home is perfect for a relaxing family stay or as a base for all the adventure that Taupo has to offer!

This home has 3 double bedrooms each fitted with Queen beds, and 1 bedroom with 2 single bunk sets and 2 bathrooms - so there`s room for the whole family!

• Bedroom 4: 2 Single Bunk Sets (suitable for children)

With an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area that opens out onto an expansive deck, Wi-Fi and a heat pump available, this home has everything you need.

Situated a minute`s walk to Cherry Island and the Waikato River, where you can watch the bungy & swing or take the scenic walk or mountain bike track to the Huka Falls, this Taupo accommodation offers great location. With a central location plus plenty of space & comfort, Riverbank Retreat is the place to be!

This is a family home in a quiet residential area, not suitable for large groups of adults. An additional guest surcharge applies for more than 8 people.
When making a booking request please include information on the age range of the guests intending to stay and your plans for while you are in Taupō.

Nice clean home. Few rubbish bins in bathrooms and more toilet paper would have been nice. Otherwise no complaints.

I travelled with a group, some of them complained upstairs bedroom air vents blowing cold air on chilly night. Did not realize we have to pay extra for linen at the time of booking. Thought it was included. We brought our own. It's a great house cold rooms upstairs were real let down despite paying 500 a night. Location is great, Kitchen,Living room,Deck and other spaces and gardens were great.

Great location, even a bit entertaining when we could see the Bunjy Jumping going on from the lounge window. Very close to river, nice quiet neighbourhood. Clean and Tidy

Was great. I do feel, though, that the bedding should be supplied as part of the rate. BBQ could have been cleaner, and I feel you should be able to leave recycling at the property. Overall, happy with our stay. Thank you

Birthday celebration with friends

The house was everything we needed. The bedrooms were a good size, the couches were so comfortable, the water pressure in the showers was perfect. Could not fault anything. We will be back!!! Thanks heaps
