This charming house with a beautiful yard, situated on the picturesque coast of Nova Scotia is a lovely place to escape for a vacation. Located in the UNESCO Heritage town of Lunenburg. With three bedrooms and 1.5 baths, this home can be the perfect oasis for those wanting to explore the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Just a 2 min walk to the Lightship Brewery for a cider, coffee or a bite to eat with the BEST views in Lunenburg.

The space:
A wonderful front Veranda- perfect for sitting on a hot summer day.
Backyard oasis with two decks.
Fully stocked kitchen.
Linens are washed with unscented laundry detergent.
Heat pump for cooling.
2 min walk to the public outside swimming pool and playground.
10 min walk to Bluenose Golf Course.

Other things to note:
10 min walk to the vibrant Lunenburg waterfront full of shops and restaurants and a Farmers Market every Thursday morning close by in the arena. 5 min walk to a walking/biking trail. 15 min. drive to Hirtles Beach in beautiful Kingsburg. 15 mins. to Mahone Bay. 15 mins. to the Lahave Ferry that takes you to the Lahave Bakery. 80 minutes to Stanfield International Airport.

Beautiful character home within walking distance to Lunenburg’s shops and restaurants. We were made to feel welcome by our hosts and loved every minute of our stay.

Wonderful stay in Lunenburg! My family of five stayed for a week and the home was lovely, spacious and well appointed. Pantry and washroom staples provided were very thoughtful, and I enjoyed reading about the history of the house. The outdoor spaces are lovely and such a bonus!! Janice was super responsive as well. Would stay again :)

The home was more than we expected. The home had everything that we could possibly need, The home was within walking distance of the harbour and main street. The host left information about the home and the surrounding area that was extremely interesting. Of the other rental homes we have used, this home rated as one of the best/

The house is a beautifully and lovingly updated Lunenberg house that was long ago used by a fisherman. The house was filled with interesting historical materials, high-quality local art, and pretty much every amenity. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the heart of Lunenburg and all the activities. We were there on Canada Day July 1.

Lunenburg family home

Great location with shortbwalk to waterfront. The house was beautiful and the backyard was amazing. Perfect stay for my family.

We can't say enough about this property and our host. It was absolutely perfect, immaculate, close to the Old Town. The weather was perfect - we spent all of our time outdoors on the front porch and back patios. We even got to know the neighbour!

Lunenburg vacation

We enjoyed our stay in Luneburg, well equipped home with great patios! We made sure to enjoy each patio, dinner on the back patio, coffee in the sun room and reading on the front patio. We also enjoyed our walks into town for dinner and drinks, Thursday mornings market was another highlight for us.

Beautiful decor and very comfortable. Everything was spotless and there for our use. Comfortable bed, nearby full bath and lots of fresh towels. The backyard was nicely landscaped and a great spot to hang out on the porch after a fun day of exploration. The host left us lots of information about the area and where to eat,etc. I would highly recommend this rental home.

Perfect holiday

The cottage is lovely inside and out. Perfect for sightseeing in Lunenberg and surrounding area or just sitting in the back yard with a glass of wine at the end of the day. The interior is charming and spotless. Better equipped kitchen than mine at home. WiFi made it easy to work remotely when necessary. We were sorry to go and would definitely stay here again!

Ideal location

We enjoyed our stay very much, and thought the property was in an ideal location: only 5 mins walk from coffee/pastries in the morning while looking across the water towards town, which offered brewer/cider and light fare in the evenings. Five mins by driving led to a food store. 10-15 mins walking led to the center of town. A peaceful backyard. Lovely!

This is a stunning property in a beautiful location! We would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it highly to others travelling to the area.We stayed here with a group of 4 adults and a toddler in July. The location was perfect for exploring Lunenburg and the view of the famous harbour was easily enjoyed by walking a few minutes towards the beach and/or brewery down the road. The house was beautifully equipped with many thoughtful and practical touches. We cooked the majority of our meals in the well appointed kitchen and enjoyed barbecuing and eating/relaxing on the deck. The pond and beautifully landscaped yard made for a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy coffee/tea (both provided in abundance) and many local specialties that we procured on our local walks and adventures.The house is extremely clean and meticulously looked after. We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived and did not want to leave after our 5 day stay. Janice was a generous and welcoming host. We recommend this property with full confidence and will absolutely return!
