Once I finally got everything that I had to do in order to access the property it was very easy. Everything is so close and plenty to see and do. I liked the Courtyard with the numerous restaurants to make it easy then having to drive somewhere. It was nice to sit on the balcony and listen to the music. I really like the king size bed which was very comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback—we’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. We do want to clarify that all of our units are strictly non-smoking. European Village is a mixed-use community with many privately owned residences, some of which are occupied by full-time owners or long-term renters, in addition to vacation rentals. Because of this, we unfortunately do not have control over activities in other units or common areas. At times, odors can also travel from nearby businesses within the village, including establishments below the condos. Regarding the laundry, it is noted in the listing that facilities are shared, and the unit is designed as a cozy condo-style space within the village setting. Great place to stay

We traveled to Palm Coast to attend the Palm Coast Songwriter's Festival. The European Village is just minutes from Daytona State college (where the festival is held). The Drift Away condo is a great place to stay. The condo is clean and in great shape. Communication with the property manager was easy and convenient. Definitely plan on staying there again.

Wonderful Adult Getaway

We had a fantastic adult getaway at Drift Away Condo! The location couldn't have been better—everything we needed, from beautiful beaches to delicious restaurants and shopping. The condo itself was clean and provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly enjoyed our time there and made the most of our beach days, which included lots of relaxation. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway!

Condo was well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the king bed and amenities. Having a washer/dryer available was nice. We also enjoyed having a real outside patio, last unit we stayed in did not have balcony patio. Restaurants so close is also very nice. Building does have a bit if a funky smell but unit did not. Parking was also a little but of a drag as we thought we had a garage space but another vehicle was parked there for the entirety of our stay. They said they were told to park in spot 78 as were we.

Great condo; tired property

The condo was fine for a couple of days stay but overall the property (European Village) is long in the tooth. Very few options for food in the village and is sadly not being cared for like it was years ago.

Temporary Haven - Convenient, Comfortable, and Close to Everything!

We recently stayed at the Drift Away Condo while waiting for the closing on our new house. The location was absolutely ideal! It was close to everything we needed, including restaurants and the beach. Being above restaurants was very convenient. We enjoyed easy access to meals without ever having to get in the car. The Sunday farmers market was an added bonus! The condo itself was incredibly spacious for the two of us, providing more than enough room to relax and unwind. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. There is a walking trail across the street, which was perfect for morning walks. Overall, Drift Away Condo proved to be the perfect temporary haven during our transition. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a convenient and centrally located retreat.

Parking

My one disappointment would be that a rental should have a parking spot assigned to it even if its in the lot. I was unable to find a spot and had to park on the grass way out even tho i had a handicap parking sticker. Otherwise my stay and communications with Valarie were great Thank you,John

Great Stay, Amazing Courtyard Atmosphere, Minor Annoyances

My wife and I overall had a really enjoyable stay at European Village Unit B315. The courtyard area was honestly one of the highlights of the trip. There were tons of restaurant and drink options with a great variety of food, and we were lucky enough to catch the Sunday open market with a lot of local vendors, which made the experience even better. The unit itself was comfortable, but there were a couple minor frustrations. Having to go through a double entrance setup to get to Unit B was a bit inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage or making multiple trips. Our first night was also a little rough because the neighboring guests were pretty loud, but thankfully it seems like they either quieted down or left because we didn’t hear them again for the rest of the stay. One odd issue was the TV. I’m pretty sure Unit A must have the exact same television setup because our channels and volume would randomly change without us touching the remote. It turned into a tiny haunted living room sitcom for a while 📺👻 The only part of the courtyard that really wasn’t our thing was the cigar shop atmosphere. Since it was just my wife and I, it wasn’t a huge deal, but I probably wouldn’t call that particular area very family friendly. Overall though, we had a good experience and would definitely consider staying again.
