Room layout was great but the place could do with a bit of a face-lift. It felt tired and a bit grubby. Reliable WiFi and great to have a washing machine. Only saw the staff at checkin and checkout and they were very courteous. It would have been useful in the pre-checkin instructions to know how to get to reception, we were wandering around with holiday baggage for some time trying to find the way in. The hotel isn't brand new so there is expected wear and tear around but it was clean and comfortable and the rooms are good sizes. There was no oil, salt and pepper, tin foil i.e. kitchen basics that you would normally receive - this meant cooking was a little difficult and you'll need to purchase these things before cooking but the standard kitchen hardware was all there. The gym is very small and lacking equipment but the hotel is in the central CBD so it would be easy to find a proper gym not too far if you wanted this. The staff were helpful, and transport links are very easy to access. The hotel was also very quiet despite it's central location so a good choice for a break in the city.
