Spectacular Punta Mita, located just two-and-a-half hours from Los Angeles, three hours from San Francisco, five hours from Chicago and New York, and just 30 minutes on the new four-lane highway from the Puerto Vallarta airport, is home to the massive Four Seasons gated master community that also includes facilities by Starwood and St. Regis, two waterfront golf courses by Jack Nicklaus, and multimillion dollar villas. Surrounded on three sides by the Four Seasons and a fourth by the tranquil waters of Banderas Bay is the village of El Anclote, which features several excellent restaurants, and the sleepy village of Punta de Mita, which is home to our beachfront condos in a lovely 18-unit Condo complex.

How popular is the Punta Mita area? Despite rooms that average $1500/night, the Four Season sells out 11 months a year, and villas in the area go for up to $10,000/night. Punta Mita is particularly popular with American celebrities and politicians looking to vacation in privacy. And now that Puerto Vallarta traffic has exploded, many long time vacationers there have moved to the much more peaceful Punta Mita.

The seven-story, complex, completed in December of 2006, is right on the beach, and the terraces look directly down on the 80 foot long infinity pool and the beautiful blue tropical waters of Banderas Bay. During the winter, whales are a daily sight, and in the summer dorado can be seen cornering bait fish near the shore. The southern exposure means unparalleled views of the sun from dawn to dusk, as well as the sailboats, and the picturesque four-mile distant Tres Marietas Island natural reserve.

ALL OUR UNITS ARE TRULY RIGHT ON THE BEACH!

At high tide our condos are separated by nothing more than the unitā€™s gorgeous infinity pool! No matter if you are looking from inside the units or out on the terrace, all you see is the pool, the sea, and the sky! Nobody is closer to the water than us! With great surfing - there are more surf spots within one mile of our place than anywhere in Mexico, and they range in skill from absolute beginner to expert, restaurants-just a five minute walk away, swimming, beach walking, snorkeling, fishing, nature watching, and great sunsets, there is no reason to choose any other Condo.

Perfect Beach Vacation

Perfect beautiful condo for enjoying family, friends, pool, beach and small town Mexico. Everything we could need in this spacious unit with stunning views, sunrise to sunset, including two nights of fireworks! Walking distance to wonderful restaurants right on the beach and shops, including surf and paddle board rentals. Definitely would recommend!!

This condo is in a stunning location and the condo itself was really nice. Donna was lovely to deal with throughout the process and made sure everything went smoothly for us. Our second time staying here!

Our last stay in this wonderful condo was in 2019 and the condo is still amazing. The spacious, clean suite worked week for us - a group of 5 from ages 26-63. We love the spectacular view. Watched the sunrise and sunset. When one of the air conditioners broke down and we had some pests, the manager came in quickly to fix everything. Weā€™d love to come for a third stay some time!

Amazing Stay

This property exceeded our expectations. It was clean, bright, airy, and had lots of room for our party of 6. The view was spectacular and the pool fun after time at the beach. Eloisa was super helpful and very responsive to small questions about water and local shopping. Everyone in the complex was friendly and Donna and Richard, the owners, were in town and super welcoming and gracious. We walked into town most days and enjoyed coffee, tacos, and margaritas! We surfed twice each day and rented from Ruby at the end of the beach. The local breaks were really great. We hope to visit again soon and stay in this amazing property.

Excellent location and views for days!

This 3 bedroom condo is in an excellent location - right on the beach and only a short walk to the village of Punta de Mita. The pool area is beautiful and well maintained. The condo has everything you need. The 2 bedrooms with ocean views are spacious and lovely. The living area and kitchen are spacious as well. So nice to have laundry. The deck is large and the views are fabulous. Lety and Donna were easy to communicate with and very helpful. Would definitely come back again.

wonderful time with amazing views

We absolutely loved our Condo in Punta Mita. It was right on the water with amazing views and always felt safe. There was plenty of room for five of us. Donna was really easy to work with and Letty, the manager, was always available. The condo is conveniently located near town so we could easily walk to restaurants, surf shop and other stores. The people were so friendly. We highly recommend Mictlan Surf shop for rentals, tours and fishing. They were great with us moms and our teenage sons. Can't wait to return...hopefully it will become an annual vacation spot.

Great Beachfront Condoā€”Walking distance to everything

The location of the condo canā€™t be beat, right on the beach and within walking distance to shops and restaurantsā€”Casa del Pintor is right across the street and had affordable drinks and food and we loved the outdoor seating. We got great recommendations for eating and adventures to do in the area. Sayulita was an easy day-trip and then we did a private tour through Michtlan Surf shop to go to Marietas Islandsā€”highly recommend taking this tour! We even came across 2 pods of whales while touring the islands! Thereā€™s a large grocery store on the way from Puerto Vallarta (Mega) where we got the bulk of our groceries and then visited the several local markets near the condo for replenishing. The condo has tons of pots and pans for cooking however just a heads up to plan on bringing your own salt/pepper and other seasonings/oils which is hit or miss on other VRBOs too. The owners ended up being there while we were there and added more recommendations but were both so lovely and chatty and accommodating. The hot tub was down which was initially a bummer but the temperatures were so pleasant we never needed it anyway! Highly recommend this affordable, safe, and convenient option! The owner and property manager, Lety, were amazing!

Punta Mita no waves but the best "surf trip" ever

We stayed in the Condo for a week hoping to surf pretty much all day every day. The only problem was...... it was flat and 20 beginners on longboards and over-enthusiastic locals fighting for a single wave at La Lancha was not my idea of a surf paradise. That said, everything else was close to perfect and we will come back in the knowledge that a week without swell is very unusual. Our three year old loved the pool and the condo was both kid friendly and kid safe which was a plus. The views were stunning and we were very comfortable using the fully equipped kitchen etc. Another plus was that everything worked well from the showers to the cupboard doors, a sign of good property management and quality construction. The neighborhood was also nice and quiet and very safe. We walked into the back streets several times to buy fresh fish from Monica and to take the short-cut to the supermarket and were greeted with smiles and waves from all the locals we met. Restaurants on the "strip" were also pretty good. We'd recommend Margaritas as the best value. Service is pretty slow in the restaurant across the street, but they do allow you to order and then "take out" and the food is OK for a take-out. Donna and Lety were a pleasure to deal with and both were friendly and responsive throughout the booking process. We took a private tour to the Marietas twice and would recommend Daniel. We'd also suggest heading out in the late afternoon to avoid the Puerto Vallarta booze boats and their drunken clientele. We will definitely return to Punta Mita and although there are definitely more expensive options the incremental cost to stay at the 4 Seasons is just not worth it because everything you need is available at El Farol 2.

We loved this property. The location is wonderful and especially for the balconies and pool.

The condo was easy to access and lovely for its views and proximity to the beach. If you want to eat in PVR often, the drive is a bit far and traffic can be slow. But there were more dining options to try in Punta de Mita than we had time for during the week that we stayed, which was a pleasant surprise. Really happy with the property manager and services as well. Thanks for a great stay - we will be back!

Fantastic place!

The condo was spectacular, beautiful views, great amenities! Condo was fully stocked and the pre-arrival food shopping service made all the difference. Lety , the property manager, was always available to answer questions and arranged everything we wanted. Donna and her husband are super nice and friendly! The town was quiet and if you went exploring, there are many local shops, taco stands and restaurants tucked away from the nearby resorts. We had the best time and I would highly recommend this condominium! 10 stars!!
