I would NOT recommend this guest. She was very unpleasant to deal with, tactless communications, no "please" or "thank you", no acknowledgement of received messages, no replies to my questions. She is also an extortionist. Her booking request was made with insufficient funds in her account, so it was declined. She asked for me to block the week for her because she's a nurse, which we accommodated until her funds were met.On the day of arrival she came before check in time without asking us first. Luckily the cleaners were finishing up and were also able to accommodate her. After she arrived, she tried to extort money from me by making up issues - first, she claimed I advertised a fire pit, which I never did; initially saying it was in the description and when that failed, saying it was in a review, which it wasn't either. Then, she said there were mice in the house. Pest control came and didn't find anything. Guests staying before and after said there were no such noises made up by Charlotte. She claimed the couch was "not functioning properly" and when I asked her to explain what she meant, she couldn't coherently identify the issue. I asked for a picture, which she sent hours later. I tried to ask follow up questions to see if we should come fix the couch or to buy her new one - but she never responded to me. She proceeded to demand a 20% refund, kept mentioning that she's a nurse and therefore deserves a discount. The overall tone and demeanor was very negative and unpleasant. I would never want to talk to this guest again. Rude, impolite and insolent.
