Casa Encantadora is a 4 Bedroom, 5 1/2 Bathroom. Luxury Villa & perched high on a mountain overlooking Zihuatanejo Bay and the Pacific Ocean. A perfect luxury rental for a vacation with family or a group of friend! The view during the day are of the sparkling blue bay, white sandy beaches,Sierra Madre mountains and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. At sunset, the lights of Zihuatanejo begins to sparkle across the bay creating one of the most beautiful vista's in the world. Sleeping up to 8 people,your days will be spent under the large palapa living area with a full kitchen, dinning room, outdoor bar, living room, built in lounge bed and a heated infinity pool that seems to perfectly blend in with the ocean below. A surround sound system iPod connection and six Bose speakers will allow you to play your favorite music while lounging in the sun.

Beautiful Zihua vacation home

My family stayed here during my wedding week. The home was excellent, the pool and lounge area have an amazing view of Playa la Ropa and the lights of Zihua are beautiful at night. The staff were wonderful, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Highly recommended!

Great family vacation

The house was as advertised. The house is large and spread out over several floors, so there was privacy when we needed it, and the common space was inviting and comfortable. We enjoyed gathering overlooking Playa la Rosa. The staff people were gracious and friendly. I would return to this property again.

We had such an amazing time here! The view from the house was breathtaking. The house was beautiful and had all the amenities you could need. I can't say enough good things about the staff. They were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I highly recommend it!

Excellent stay in zihua

Exactly as described in the listing. Staff is great. Gustavo (manager/driver) is an excellent fixer and will aid you in doing whatever you need. Location is in a premier neighborhood high above the bay with sweeping bay views. Located right next to three of the best restaurants in zihua. Amuleta is 50 yards away. Tennis court has lights for night playing. Tennis club at La Ropa is a short drive. Life is easy at Encantadora!

Wonderful Stay!

The casa has a beautiful patio with an infinity pool overlooking one of the most breathtaking views in Zihua. Add the lovely and attentive staff, delicious meals and air conditioned living spaces and you’ll never want to leave! This listing is as advertised. It’s a lovely home with great views and excellent staff. Rufi makes the best Margaritas in town and Danny is a very talented chef. Gustavo was always available to us for whatever we needed, from taxis to translations. The staff really makes the trip special. The casa is only a 10 minute drive to town or the beach, but we did spend the majority of our vacation in the pool and on the patio. There are a lot of stairs, so keep that in mind but most of the casa’s will be similar. Regardless, we highly recommend and look forward to coming back to stay.

Beautiful unique home with welcoming staff!

This is our 2nd time staying at this beautiful Cerró Del Vigía home in Zihuatanejo. We love the views and friendly staff, Rufi, Vialey, Beto and Gustavo treated us so well. We also made use of the tennis courts!

A beautiful tree house

The view from the top floor is stunning! The infinity pool overlooking Playa La Ropa and out to Zihuatanejo is spectacular. The bedrooms are very comfortable and everyone gets their own bathroom, which we loved. Rufi and Vianey are so lovely and a joy to have around. Gustavo was also very knowledgeable and helpful and accomodating. You really feel like you are living in the jungle with the open feel of the house and being high on the mountain. There are various kinds of bugs that visit, such as cute little frogs, butterflies, ants and one morning, a tarantula! It was all very exciting and added to the charm.

Felt like home

We had an amazing stay here! This place is truly amazing and highly recommend staying here. The staff are top notch, the house is gorgeous, the views are fabulous, the food is delicious and the entire time we felt safe. The house is big enough that our party of 7 with kids ages 11-18 that we all had our own space.

Could not have been more wonderful, relaxing and fabulous! The staff and casa are amazing!

Gratitude and appreciation to Teresa and the staff for making this a fantastic 2-week vacation! The view is literally breath taking and we spent most of our time on the veranda taking in the panoramic, "top of the world" view, floating in the pool and having a wonderfully relaxing time. The staff (Rufi and Vianey) keep the casa very clean and picked up. They were always in a good mood and provided us with many tasty meals. We often ate leftovers, as we were avoiding going out due to COVID. Meal planning was a bit challenging as we unfortunately do not speak Spanish, but with a good sense of humor and a translation app, we figured it all out. Both ladies are very friendly and welcoming, like everyone who works for the Casa. We enjoyed the fresh smelling sheets and towels every day and the spotless rooms and bathrooms. Every room has a view of the ocean and surrounding area. The maintenance/gardener (Beto) keeps the pool and everything else going smoothy and is responsive, if there is an issue. Gustavo, the GM, speaks English very well and was always available when needed. We communicated via phone and WhatsAp. He did the grocery shopping and took us to the beach. Next time, we will do a better job planning the groceries, but we mostly ate what we bought, so there was not a lot of waste. Airport pick up and deliver went without a hitch. Ivan picked us up and Gustavo dropped us off. COVID testing was arranged by Gustavo and was stress free. The screens worked well and we have had few but bites, despite being on the veranda. We did not have consistent internet access in the main bedroom, but the reception was good on the upper floor. While there are two TVs in the casa, we were able to use only the one in the media room, as a ROKU stick had gone missing, and we used the available one for the media room. No big deal. Our fitness improved thanks to climbing steps (50 to the main bedroom and 70+ to the media room), fewer to the three second floor bedrooms. If someone has balance issue, they might struggle a bit at the top of the stairs, as there is no railing for the first portion. Same goes for the pool that requires taking a deep step without handles. There is some construction noise, but that is to be expected. Lots of early morning bird noises. Teresa is an amazing and responsive host, and we recommend the Casa highly. We can't wait to be back! Thank you to everyone for making this a memorable vacation!

Absolutely spectacular!

5-star treatment by the friendly staff, great communication with everyone involved, and above all, the pictures posted here don’t do justice to this gem of a property. The house is spacious with lots of places to sit and relax. Nature is all around,, and swimming in the warm water of the swimming pool with an incredible view of the town tops everything else. I thought the pictures were too good to be true, but it turns out, it’s so much better in reality. The property is beautifully decorated and there is abundance of little extras we did not anticipate. We absolutely recommend this property although we would rather keep it a secret. Thank you to the staff, manager, and owners for sharing this spectacular place with us!

Hermosa vista y vacaciones.

Es la segunda vez que vamos a esta casa y nos sigue pareciendo hermosa. La vista es espectacular, te sientes en casa. Se siente uno seguro porque está en un fraccionamiento privado con seguridad las 24 horas. El personal hace lo que le toca para atenderte y estar bien. Es una casa que vale la pena visitar. Can't wait to stay at Casa Encantadora again!

Casa Encantadora is an amazingly beautiful property with unbelievably stunning views overlooking the Zihua Bay and waters beyond, Playa LaRopa, and the surrounding mountains. The Casa is well appointed, and it is meticulously maintained by an outstanding staff. Chef Brandon and Rufi provided us with delicious daily breakfast and also prepared our freshly caught black tuna for lunch on one of our afternoons. The home, pool and surrounding areas are kept extremely clean, and it is conveniently located just inside the security gate at Cerro del Vigia. Zihua is a safe town, but staying at a home in this location provides an additional level of reassurance. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at Casa Encantadora, and we fully expect to stay here again on future visits to Z.

Zihuatamazing!!

Zihuatenejo is just absolutely awesome! Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff...Brandon (Chef), Ruffi (Housekeeper), Beto (Pool guy/gardener/maintenance man), Gabby (House manager), were nothing short of amazing. They took such excellent care of us and were so helpful in arranging transportation if we wanted to go anywhere. I can't say enough great things about this house, THE VIEW, or the city of Zihuatenejo. We'll be making this a yearly trip. We always felt very safe too. The food was great, especially the food that chef Brandon prepared for us. Ruffi does an amazing job of keeping the house in ship shape at all times and Beto keeps everything operating & looking great, from the pool to the flowers. This is a must do trip! It does help if you can speak Spanish, but you can manage if not. I also recommend exchanging your money to Pesos as you will need it. There are places that do accept credit cards, but there are a lot of situations where you'll need Pesos. We also recommend taking a day trip out to Ixtapa Island for a relaxing day on the beautiful beaches. You can also rent snorkel gear there and enjoy the beautiful coral reef teeming with all sorts of beautiful fish. I just simply can't say enough good things about Zihuatenejo and Casa Encantadora. We feel very blessed to have discovered this vibrant, yet sleepy little slice of Heaven on Earth. Can't wait to get back there to see our new friends. 1000 thank you's to Teresa, Gabby, Brandon, Ruffi, Beto, Brian, and Gustavo for making us feel welcome and like family.

Zihuatanejo is a small town with stunning architecture, cobblestone street with shops, bars, restaurants, art galleries and open air markets. You will find four separate beaches, including Las Gatas, which you will access by water taxi. There you will find restaurants, massage tents & watersport rentals. La Ropa, the largest & most popular beach provides beautiful surroundings, white sand, restaurants, bars, boutique hotels with day services, parasailing, jet skiing, sailing and great massages from $30 for 1 hour massage.

Wherever you stand or sit in Casa Encantadora you will see native craftsmanship of the area of Mexico, handcrafted wood beams, woven palm ceilings, in-laid stone design, rock walls and landscaping featuring birds of paradise, bougainvilleas, banana plants, almond trees, mangos, papaya, agave and palm trees. Paintings, sculptures and pottery are all locally made by Zihuatanejo artists and further enhance the beauty of the Casa.
