Romantic and Private located high upon St Peter Mountain

Hi Pam, We hope you have had a great stay in St Thomas. So glad you got out of the snow. We actually replaced the upper pipe on the house and the leak has stopped. Thank you for being so understanding. Have a wonderful rest of the year.

St Thomas is a mountainous island and most of the roads in St Thomas are on an incline. The incline is not severe as most of the cars on this hill are a two wheel drive including my own car. What he calls a wooden park bench is actually a futon couch with a wooden frame. We live in a rain forest portion of the island and sometimes clouds will actually roll in the house. That is how it is in the tropics. The kitchen was remodeled 4 years ago, solid Mahogany cabinets. The travertine was replaced 4 years ago. The drapes , couch and curtains are custom made and replaced 4 years ago. Sounds like he doesn't like St Thomas.

We really enjoyed having you stay with us. We enjoyed having a chat here and there. So glad you enjoyed our little mountain top retreat. Hopefully we will see you again in the future. We hope Spring comes soon for you and you can enjoy the warming weather at home.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We really enjoyed chatting with you after your days adventure.. Just to clarify. we don't have owls or crickets... What you hear at night are Tree Frogs chirping all night long. Many people mistake them for birds but they are little tiny frogs about 1-2 inches long and very vocal. So Glad you got the SUV and a brand new one at that. We hope you come back to see us again. So glad you had so much fun with your daughter. I could tell how close you are. So lucky that you have such a wonderful relationship. Thanks for staying with us.... See you soon....

They arrived at 1:00 pm on the check in date. Check in is at 3:00 and we told them they could drop off their luggage because we were working on a shower in the main house. They agreed to leave and but yet they stayed . We had the water back on by check in time. The next two days they proceeded to tell us they loved the place and what a good time they were having. On Wednesday the water pump was not working properly so we told them we were changing the pump. They had water until 9:00 am. By 5:00 pm we had the pump replaced but they had already left in a huff. As they were leaving they told us they wanted a full refund, our contract clearly states that things go wrong in the islands from time to time and we will fix them as quickly as possible. I am not sure why they absolutely had to have water from 9:00- 5:00, we supply a 5 gallon drinking water which was accessible for their water needs. They were laying out on the lounge chairs all day and even asked if we could bring down our dog, Petey for them to play with. Not a word was said about the water. The toilet was working the entire time of their stay she just had to flush it. After they left we went downstairs and the toilet was not full and we flushed it. The kitchen is a brand new custom made mahogany kitchen with granite top counters and is 6 months old. The bed is new and the apt is completely repainted and upgraded. We are not sure what she means by tired. We live on the Northside in a rain forrest and trees grow fast. We have a landscaping company that comes twice a month. This is a quote from her text to me on Tuesday. “ Great!!!! Thank you! We are looking forward to staying here and chilling tomorrow! We are having a great time! Thank you. And Thanks for the water. We clearly state in our emails that our location requires a car, as the cab drivers will not come up the hill. They showed up without a car. I think what this comes down to is that someone is always able to pick something apart if they try hard enough.

We loved talking with you. Your enthusiasm is catching.. You just love coming to St Thomas and visiting your friends. Such joy you have while visiting. We really enjoyed having you. We know you had such a wonderful stay. Hope to see you next year.
