Perdido Sun 912 is a one bedroom condo on the ninth floor of the Perdido Sun Resort. This condo has a four person maximum occupancy. This beachfront condo has furnished with a king bed and sleeper sofa to accommodate a couple's get-a-way or small family vacation. Relax in the living room on comfortable furniture while watching the television or do what we recommend and enjoy the view from your private balcony which overlooks the sugar-white sand Perdido Key beaches. You will feel at home throughout your stay as the kitchen has been well stocked, now complete with a Keurig Coffee Maker! The rental includes all of your bed and bath linens, and the high speed internet connection is yours to use for free. This condo is sure to provide the warmth of a vacation home for any stay whether during our summer or winter season.

Great get away

We had a wonderful time. The condo needs updating but it was clean and bed was decent. The view was awesome! Could hear the waves crashing from the condo!We look forward to our next visit!

Beautiful, remote beach trip!

We normally stay in the panhandle area, but with planning a last minute trip, we ended up booking our stay here. We are so grateful that we did! The sunrises and sunsets from the front and back of the condo were amazing. We loved that the beach and pool were less crowded, as well as the restaurants in the area. If your family is looking for a day of entertainment, you can drive just 20 minutes to The Wharf and make a day of it. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful vacation

My mom and I go to a different beach every year and this year picked Perdido Key. I had narrowed down our places on VRBO about 5 but some friends of ours recommended the Perdido Sun so we went with it. So glad we did b/c it was perfect for the two of us!! The weather was great all week (5/11-5/17)!! We normally lay out on the beach every year but this year we tried laying out at the pool and it was prefect!! They have plenty of chairs to lay out on around the pool. There are chairs on the beach but you do have to rent those. There is a really nice outdoor pool, a hot tub and an indoor heated pool. The whole place is pretty secure. You have to use a code to get in & out of the building, a code to get onto & off of the beach and you have to wear an arm band on the private beach. There are a couple restaurants, an ice cream place and shops directly across the street from the building that you can walk to which was really nice. We ate at some really great places all week but you have to go to The Point and get their deep fried cheesecake!! Ask for the ice cream and pralines on the side. It is the best dessert we've ever had!! Highly recommend the Perdido Sun!! If we ever go back to Perdido, we will be staying at the Sun!!!

Quick girl's trip

I desperately needed to put my toes in the sand before summer was over so I grabbed a friend and made it happen. This was the perfect location! Right on the beach, lots of close shopping and restaurants, great views from the balcony. Neither the beach nor the pool were ever too crowded. The sweet lady at the front desk had a list of popular places to eat at the ready when we asked for suggestions, so helpful! The condo was very clean and comfortable. The only suggestions we have is that the kitchen could use a few more amenities. Mostly bigger coffee mugs, lol, and more eating utensils. We were planning on using the pullout couch but the mattress isn't really suitable for an adult in my opinion (but are they ever really?) But the giant king size bed in the bedroom had a super comfy mattress and was more than large enough for the two of us. The unit could use a few more towels and washcloths but no big deal. There are two big fans to use which was a huge bonus for me. The linens were all new and fresh. It was a great trip and I would definitely stay here again. I might even bring my husband and kids next time, lol. P.S.- We didn't need anything during our stay so we didn't reach out to our host but it was made very clear that if we did that they were available.

Perdido Key Sun Resort

9th floor beautiful view!! Not much activity on ocean here other then people swimming at beach. Was hoping to see a lot of boats , jet skis , etc. Our room wasn’t the cleanest . The bathroom had mold on the tile and the tub drained very slow. The kitchen dish washer worked but had a very fowl odor ! But the 9 th floor balcony view was awesome! You could see way out there but not much to see but ocean. The town is small located between Pensacola and Gulf shores . Not a lot to do there but we are Destin people where there are a lot of things to do and this place just didn’t have that. If your looking for a some what-of a quiet little place to kick back and not do much then this is the place!!

Family Escape

Overall, great trip with minor "hiccups". Room not ready at 4pm as informed; traffic noise from balcony not expected (heard it over ocean waves); ice maker very loud at night & when wanting ice it produced very minimal pieces. Previous reviews are accurate in that the room is older in look & decor. Could use some "modernization". Lastly, Sleep sofa is very uncomfortable (hard & feel springs).

Sand castles, Sunshine, and beautiful ocean waves

We had a wonderful week on the beach. Building sand castles, riding the waves, enjoying the sunshine, meeting geat people! Loved the peaceful beach experience during spring break. It was a great last minute get away! Would recommend to others for a great adventure.

Loads of Fun in the Sun

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Perdido Sun for for about 8-10 yrs.any have been going twice a yr. there now for quite a while. We love it!! Location is great! Great places to eat the best food and don't have to drive very far to get to them.Room was very clean and the staff is awesome to work with.(:

Excellent vacation.

Property was very nicely kept for an older property. The location is excellent as far as beach front and right across the street from two excellent eating establishments. Had a great time and would rent again.

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was as stated, and the location was terrific! We did not have any problems at all with anything. The only suggestions I would make would be a mattress topper on the bed, as it was really, really firm and a keypad entrance instead of an actual key. Wonderful stay overall; we will go back!

Great with a few hiccups

Arrived at the condo and it had not been cleaned. Got that squared away pretty quickly. The guy that came to clean worked around our stuff and was super nice. Then after spending the evening on the beach, came back for showers to discover NO hot water. It was too late to call anyone at that point. Called the next day and they got the water heater replaced by about 4pm that day. So finally hot showers. The condo itself was pretty nice. Bed was firm, so I didn't sleep much, but someone who likes that would be in heaven. It was quiet, super close to the beach. Had everything in the kitchen that was needed. Condo was a decent size. Bathrooms were a bit claustrophobic. The view from the balcony was stunning! (that was super high on my important list)! I did feel kinda rushed out the last morning. We had to be out by 10am, yet we had cleaning knocking before 9 asking when we would be gone. Then she sat outside the door and waited for a whole hour while we were packing. Kinda uncomfortable. So not perfection, but what is really. Overall, I enjoyed the trip.

Horrible experience!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was NO hot water the entire week we were there. Bed was extremely hard & place was not clean. We would NEVER rent from this individual again! Beware! While owner was prompt to stop by, he offered no apologies or solutions to issues we brought to his attention. Property management was very nice, though, & easy to deal with.ß

Good Time

First of all it was good to be in the sunshine and where not everyone was panicked about Covid. People were smiling, talking, eating out etc. The unit itself is very nice although the inside could use a nice paint job that is a little more appealing and maybe another picture of two. This unit is in one of the older buildings so the age needs to be covered up a bit. But the view is great and the condo is very nice. The only problem we had was when we went to bed...all the road noise outside. Sirens, motorcycles, etc. Not much you can do about that but they did have a fan in the closet that came in very handy. If we go back we will not rent this unit again I guess just because we have been there done that and the unit itself was average.
