The property offers nearby access to Lake Dunlap via public boat ramp and features a 20' pier for docking alongside as well. The huge green lawn perfect for BBQs or just relaxing...Bring your fishing gear! The grounds are landscaped and there are spots for outdoor cooking. Soaring Pecan, Oak and Cypress trees provide shade from the warm Texas sun! The house itself has a huge 400sf. deck.

Plenty of room and bed space for everyone! My kids loved the bunk beds. Main door entrance is under the carport, but there are exterior stairs on both sides of the house to access the second level, which allowed us to give the people staying in the first floor room more privacy. Large backyard for kiddos to run around in too!

Multi-generational family getaway

This property was perfect for our family. Everyone had a comfortable space and the property is beautiful. The owners were great in flexibility, responding to messages, and overall hospitality. We had a great time!

Wonderful Home

Although we had a few days of rain and muddy water due to the recent flooding, the house lent itself to relaxation, and all kinds of games and activities in the beautiful yard. The hosts were wonderful and always responded to our questions. Highly recommend this home.

Great Lake house

We had a large group of 15 adults and it fit us all comfortably for the trip. House was clean and cool and had plenty of cooking supplies. The best part was being right on the lake and close to town at the same time.

River Getaway

I own an irrigation business in Lubbock, and I like to treat my employees to a trip once a year. This property was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, convenient, spacious, and plenty of room for some relaxed hanging out. Neighbors were great! Highly recommend!

River house trip

The communication with the property manager first of all was fantastic! So quick, polite, and very helpful. The house and adjoining apaprtment were perfect for our family trip. It is gorgeous, clean, spacious, and comes with everything you could possibly need appliance and utensil wise. I will absolutely be renting this property again in the figure.

Wonderful Weekend at the lake

This house is awesome for large groups! With numerous beds, ample parking, spacious living room and huge grass back yard. We rented the extra loft room that had 2 more queen beds. Highly reccomend this option for larger parties.Our group of 14 had a great time over the weekend! I got to meet the owner during check in and he showed me around and even gave me his cell number if I had any issues. 5/5 stars. We will be back!

Memories Made with Family

Great house, plenty of space, grounds beautiful, plenty of bathrooms and towels, great A/C, LOTS of steps - not for mobility impaired, separate ice machine was a huge plus, great swimming area off dock and bulkhead, plenty of parking and some undercover, 15-20 minutes from activities and town, quiet neighborhood except for the rooster (which was still fine), recommend to bring own games, tv all had Roku or Amazon stick, washer/dryer a plus, recommend to bring own dish cloths, pot holders, & wash cloths (very limited if cooking or bathing), Katrina was great in communicating, wifi router has a connection limit for number of active devices. We would stay again.

Family River weekend

We enjoyed our weekend in New Braunfels, although we expected this property to look like the pictures. The walk through bedroom made it difficult for us to comfortably sleep 14 in the house. The host was very responsive and allowed us to rent the garage apartment at the last minute. We hope to return and see some updates in the future.

Great Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lake house. We floated the lake that it’s on from I-35 to the house, took several hours due to no wind and low water but beautiful views. We. All had a great time. The yard was beautiful with the lighting in the trees made everything light up at night. The neighbors were even doing fireworks in the lake at night that made it beautiful to view. Great place to stay, can’t wait till next time. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation. Amazing property!!!!

We rented this beautiful home on Lake Dunlap for my daughter's high school graduation. We had family in from Denver, Houston, and Austin. A total of 12 people stayed in the house and we had more than enough room! The house was PRISTINELY CLEAN when we arrived. The property is on a beautiful part of the lake with a pier. The kids had a blast playing in the lake and playing horseshoes in the pit in the back yard. I would reccomend this property again and again! Thank you for sharing it with my family!

Great place for a family reunion

This was a great place for 12 adult family members to gather for several days of relaxation! The views of the trees from the deck and windows are especially lovely. It's an easy ride into New Braunfels for tubing or Gruene Hall for music, etc. The kitchen is well equipped though the dishwasher did not work perfectly. The master suite is especially nice but note that bedroom 5 is a queen (not a king) and a double. Bring your own soap and shampoo because these are not provided, and leave time to wash the sheets and towels before you leave, which is tricky with a large group. Finally, the property manager did not respond swiftly (or sometimes at all) to messages, which caused some stress, though everything worked out in the end.

New Bruanfels family reunion

Honestly feel that the luxury description is inaccurate, the rental certainly met our requirements for beds and location but failed somewhat in cleanliness, and we were without hot water for 30 hours. Kitchen pots and pans were dirty and the grill had to be cleaned entirely also had to purchase additional toilet paper and soap. Realized in morning that we didn’t have hot water but property manager did not begin to assist until 3:00 pm. I can’t blame the rental but all that visited went home with stomach and intestinal issues lasting 24-48 hours.

Restful River Retreat

The property was beautiful and relaxing. A variety of birds and squirrels romped in the treetops next to the deck. The view from the house was amazing. The yard was mowed all of the way to the river, which was still beautiful despite a summer drought. Recent rains in Texas helped. We saw fishermen, boaters and jet skiis utilizing the water. Steps led from the yard to the river. The house boasted 2 large dining tables and some bar stools at the counter. A large ice maker was a nice touch in a well appointed kitchen. Loved having access to a washer and dryer, plus linens! The sofas were comfy. Mattresses in the main house tended to be firmer, while mattresses in studio were more cozy. We could not hear guests moving around much within the house. Surrounding neighbors or guests were quiet too. The owners promptly provided access codes and entry was never a problem. Lots of stairs, but pictures depict the house well. Loved this property!

Celebration with family!

House was nice and as advertised. Would have been nice to have lawn mowed. Not a lot of water, but enough to swim in. Enough room for all and comfortable beds.

Best sleeping arrangements

This house is PERFECT for any family but, especially a large family! It has a room with 2 sets of bunk beds that sleep 4 kids. It also has two extra rooms upstairs. One with a queen and one with a king. The 4th bedroom upstairs is the master with a king and a patio. Downstairs is it’s own little apartment. It has its own restroom, patio and two beds. One king and one twin. On the property is also another efficiency apt with two queen beds and it’s own restroom and table with 2 chairs. Everything is 15 mins away. We had so much fun staying at this property! It’s really the perfect place

Family Vacation

We had 13 family members ages 5 to 66. We had plenty of room for everyone. It was a great place for a large group. The neighborhood was quiet and was close to everything we did. If we go back to New Braunsfels we would stay here again.
