This beautiful modern cabin is conveniently located and comes with all the amenities you could want on vacation! In the home, you will find a cozy gas fireplace, several books to read, and a spacious outdoor deck with ample seating and a gas grill.

The complex offers access to a pool, hot tub, tennis courts, marina, and a playground for the kids for an additional daily fee.

WHAT’S NEARBY
Golfers can enjoy Tahoe Donner Golf Course, just two miles away. Also, a short distance away are Prosser Hill and Alder Hill, both sporting hiking trails for your enjoyment. Winter vacationers can drive about 13 miles to ski at Northstar California Resort.

Internet access is not offered at this home.
Following the Tahoe Donner HOA agreements, gatherings of people not renting the home are not allowed. Authorities will be notified of a party or large gathering in the house.
Excessive noise and trash are prohibited.
All exterior lights must be turned off between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am, seven days a week.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Security camera details: There are three exterior cameras at this home: one at the front door, one that overlooks the driveway, and one overlooking the backyard.

Dock details: There is a private dock at the Tahoe Donner Marina. Please bring your guest access cards. A $16 fee per person per day applies. Public docks are located along Donner Lake on Donner Pass Road.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Snow trip with Family Jan 2023

1st of all. Beautiful home. We where all had the WOW factor of the home. We even sent a message stating we where able to have a early check in. After we arrived, The home was just beautiful and fit my family and it could actually sleep more but it was enough space for us all. 1. we noticed lots of full beer cans and beer bottle lids in the snow that where left from a previous renter.2. Binds where very tricky, the blind down stairs was haning and looked broken . 3 keruig coffee machine did not work. 4. The WiFi and satellite was not great as well. Directtv needs to be upgraded or changed to another service. 5. The master bed room was always cold even thou the heater was on. So bring extra blankets when visiting in the winter. 6. The driveway had lots of black ice and could have been cleaned more. We noticed other homes driveways that where cleared. 7. We did not find a broom to sweep. 8.we did notice not enough towels are in the home for 8 people. The good thing is I always pack extra towels. But having more towels in the home would be nice especially we went also to play in the snow. 9. I wish they had more family/kid dishes to use. We had to purchase red solo plastic cups and plates for the kids. 10. If you have any toddlers from 10 months to 2 years staying with you, please be ready to always watch you little one as it has stairs on both levels. Other then those little obstacles we had a good family trip.

Lots of room, but lots of little problems

The size of the place was perfect for a big group trip with me and some friends, and it had more than enough beds for everyone. The living room and kitchen were pretty big also, and overall the place was a really good value. However, there were a countless number of small annoyances in the place that makes it worthy of only 3/5 stars. When we arrived, the dishwasher wasn’t working, and one of the two sink tubs was completely clogged. The dishwasher didn’t work for the entirety of our stay, and the sink took 4 days to unclog. Also, the washing machine was very high maintenance. I would say that the majority of people wouldn’t have figured out how it worked, but luckily, one of the people in our group had the exact same washer at home, and was able to figure it out. Also, one of the bunk beds was missing a wooden slat, and was unable to hold up anyone who slept on it. Besides these, there were a few other annoyances with the stovetop, cabinets, and bathroom that made this a doable, but at times annoying, stay.

Not quite up to par

Bedroom carpet is so stained I would not walk on it without my shoes. Window seals were broken so you could not see out some of the windows. A couple of the window shades in the great room/dining area would not open. We had eight people staying and only 4 chairs around the outside table. Kitchen was not very well stocked. The home did sleep quite a few people so that was nice. Good area downstairs for the kids but the TV did not work so they didn’t want to be down there.. The home itself is a nice home if the mentioned items were fixed.
