ā€¢ Master suite with King size bed, walk-in closet, small work desk, wall-mounted TV and lots of morning sun, plus a master bath with step-in shower and dramatic floor to ceiling tile.

After a complete renovation, we are offering this home to rent for the first time. Sedgwick House is especially suited for people in search of a unique, high quality and authentic experience. It's the place other people point at when they walk by! Perfect for extended stays or weekly stays. Sedgwick house offers everything you need for the perfect vacation experience.

What's provided: Parking, hi-speed Internet, all linens & towels, paper products, beach chairs, umbrellas, Iron, Ironing board, Hair dryer, coffee maker & filters. Kitchen fully supplied w/ dishes, pots & pans, kitchen essentials. BBQ grill, and washer/dryer inside the house.

We continue to offer free cancellation up to 30 days prior to arrival, but STRONGLY SUGGEST TRIP INSURANCE (offered at check-out) to protect you for cancellations inside 30 days.

The Sedgwick properties altogether include the 1BR/1BA cottage (VRBO listing #884439) at the rear of the house and the "tiny house living" studio (listing #925206), also at the rear of the property. This is a 1925 Old Florida beach property that has been completely transformed into one of the finest residential properties on the beach.

Check in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out is 10:00. Late check-ins okay.

The property was beautiful and 3 minutes from beach. When we got there housekeeper had not cleaned for our arrival but property owner responded right away and it was taken care quickly. She also promised to refund me 200 back.

Amazing Beach Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at this beach house! 50 Steps to the beach and close to the stip. New Pickleball courts within walking distance were a nice surprise too. Beautiful house and very clean! Would go back in a heartbeat!

Great to be back at Sedgwick House

Repeat posting from 11/2022 still stands:Having used HomeAway / VRBO for over 15 years, I spend a lot of time looking for choice properties. In fact, I looked at over 40 properties in the Clearwater Beach / Belleair Beach area before booking. I chose this property for a few reasons - primarily that the images provided and property descriptions were extremely well done when compared to other properties investigated. And upon arrival entering the house I knew we had made the right choice feeling "at home" right away with the descriptions matching the well accommodated property down to the littlest of details you many times don't find in the higher end hotels. As for the property, 50 steps from the beach in the northern and quieter end of Clearwater Beach. Having a vehicle was a plus for exploring, but not necessary as all of the shopping and restaurants were south towards the more "touristy" areas like Pier 60 walk-able within 20 minutes (1 mile) to the Causeway Blvd Circle. Would we return? Absolutely, but if you book this property, please don't book our week! Thanks Andrea, we had a spectacular week.

Cottage was immaculate, well furnished, and a perfect location! Loved the private deck, and the layout of the cottage is perfect for 2 couples - it was only my husband and I, but we would definately return either alone, or with another couple. Owners were great communicators.

Awesome cottage in Clearwater

We loved staying at the Sedgwick house. It was so well supplied, they thought of everything. Beach towels, beach chairs and two umbrellas, a full drink frig, TP and paper towels, even laundry soap. We would stay again in a minute! Loved how close it is to the beach and lots of great places to eat within walking distance! You won't be disappointed if you stay!

Our favorite beach!

This was our 3rd stay and everything was absolutely perfect. Our Hosts, Andrea and Rob were very accommodating. The location is only steps from the sand. We spent most of our time enjoying the beach. Lots of options for fun in Clearwater. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Could not have been better

I recently stayed at the Sedgwick house in October 2023. I was there with my husband, 17 year old daughter, and her best friend. This was my second time visiting and staying here and I'm sure I will be back. The location is unbeatable with it being just steps away from the beach. Cute porch that I would sit and have a coffee on in the mornings and catch up on work. The property during both of our stays was immaculate and was beautifully decorated - just like the pictures. You can tell the owners put a lot of work into making sure they keep up the place. It looked just as nice as it did 2 years prior when we stayed. If we needed anything Andrea and Rob were so quick to respond. My daughter at on point unplugged the WiFi, which impacted the tenants nearby. Rob called and probably clearly knew we were to blame for the outage, but was so nice about the situation and quickly fixed it. I've been to Clearwater many times and as I stated above, stayed here twice and hope to stay here many times in the future. Our experience was exceptional, accommodations were perfect, and the hosts were amazing.

Rob & I both grew up in California. I'm from the small coastal town of Santa Cruz. Rob grew up in Whittier, outside of LA. We met at an Anaheim Angels baseball game, eventually got married, moved to Atlanta & raised two kids. Before we knew it the kids were grown, flew the nest & we decided to leave the corporate world and live in Clearwater Beach full time. We're in the process of restoring our fourth Old Florida home and are excited to manage & host these wonderful properties to visitors from all over.

Clearwater Beach has so much character. It is surrounded by the most beautiful water. It is a combination of Old Florida & Modern vacation destination. The town offers something for people of all ages. The locals are friendly. The weather is perfect. During one of our trips down to Clearwater, we walked some of the neighborhoods & saw the opportunity of Sedgwick House waiting for us. And it's so close to the beach! There was no question that we were going to bring it back to its original glory so that it could be enjoyed for many more years to come.

It's situated close to the North Beach which is quieter than the Southern part of the beach, yet within easy walking distance to all the action. It's also along the Jolly Trolley trail which can take you all over the Clearwater area. You can leave your car in the driveway during your entire stay!
