3 BR 2 bath House in a Quiet Neighborhood - Close to Beach and Bay

This well kept house is located just 1/4 mile south of South Bethany Beach, Delaware in a quiet residential neighborhood with an easy walk to the Beach.

It is close to Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island, Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City Maryland. It is located at the end of a canal that has bay access. It also has a large open deck and off street parking. Check out the pictures to see the interior.

There is plenty of shopping and restaurants close by and all kinds of water sports are available.

Group and High school graduate group rentals are not accepted.
Family and extended family only. Minimum age for signing contract is 25.


We have a pet fee if you wish to bring a dog. NO cats.

For any stays less than 7 days a cleaning fee will be added.

Great place for water lovers

The place was nicer than the pictures conveyed. Lots of nice amenities---kayaks for canals, beach chairs, outdoor shower, bikes, grill. Well-outfitted kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay. Geoff was very attentive host.

What a great week!

This house had everything we needed. The kids had a great time kayaking on the water and it was an easy walk to the beach. Our puppy loved jumping in after her ball and playing in the waves. The location was phenomenal and the house was absolutely lovely. The homeowner was very communicative and we’d be happy to stay here again!

Family beach week

Geoff was absolutely fantastic to work with! He was responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. Our family very much enjoyed the open layout of the house, which was well-stocked, and the view of the canal. The neighborhood is adorable and great for walking/bike riding. We can not say enough good things about our vacation! We will be back!

Great time in South Bethany

The house is well-located, within walking distance to the beach and and easy drive to area attractions. It was just the right size for our family of three plus one guest. We loved it!

Beautiful community, lovely home

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. Jeoff, owner and host, was welcoming and friendly. He stopped by when we checked in and provided the lay of the land. The property is well maintained, clean and is well equipped. An added bonus is that there is beach gear, bikes and kayaks for the guests to use, all of which we made use of. The community is friendly, beautiful, and peaceful, with amazing views of the bay and wildlife. The beach conveniently a short distance away. We thoughly enjoyed our week at the property!!

Great house, great location. Beach is a hike with the gear involved with 6 young kids, but the private beach was worth it!

Lovely house in a sweet location

Geoff was a wonderful host. The house had everything we needed for a perfect beach vacation. The beach is located about 1/4 mile away but we parked at the lot near Bayview entrance each day, making it a short scamper across the highway. We enjoyed the bikes & kayaks. Overall, a 5 star visit.

So very pleased with this house, location and host!

Vrbo made this renting process so easy. Geoff is a great host and he makes everything easy. The house was beautiful and very clean! The beach was a dream. Would recommend this home and owner to anyone. Vrbo is the way to go!!!

Lovely location

As other reviews mention, the pictures do not do this place justice! Great location on the canal. Lots of bikes and several kayaks. Bayview is a lovely quiet community that we really enjoyed. Thank you, Geoff!

Waterview property

The home was spacious and full size washer/dryer was great to have. The only thing I can say is could use update on mattresses, I don't like soft mattress and the paneling was a bit too much.

Fabulous week at the beach!

Geoff's place was like a home away from home for our family. It was comfortable, well equipped, and immaculately clean. The neighborhood is quiet, and the location on the canal and directly across the highway from the beach just can't be beat. There are bicycles, kayaks, and the wrap around deck provided a great outdoor space for family celebrations. Geoff was responsive and we enjoyed having the opportunity to meet him in person. Thanks, Geoff!

Hidden Gem

I have stayed at lots of places and I can not say enough wonderful things about this home. So many wonderful surprises, the kayaks, the bikes, the beach cart, the beach chairs, the umbrellas, and all the kitchen supplies. I nice full-sized washer and dryer. Perfect vacation.

Great place for family vacation

Excellent experience, from easy rental communication to check in, to meeting the owner Geoff upon arrival(who responded to any requests immediately!), to wonderful location for bay and beach access for myself, hubby, and 2 adult sons and their wives. Roomy parking accommodations, very clean house, comfortable beds, use of 3 kayaks, multiple beach chairs and 6 bikes. The great room was really nice for everyone to gather, the deck and yard nice (and outside shower) for our dogs too. Lots of games and croquet set in the house. We cooked 3 nights and the kitchen was very well equipped. The quiet neighborhood is super safe and friendly and wonderful for bike riding. Terrific birding in the area as well. House is located perfectly for short trips into Bethany Beach boardwalk area, Fenwick and Rehoboth. We would absolutely rent this house again!

Beautiful Bayside property

Rented this lovely home for the last weekend of the summer and it couldn’t have been better. Geoff, the owner went above and beyond for us when the television wasn’t working on our arrival, and ensured everything was ready for our use including that the grill had a new tank and bike tires were all filled with air. The photos do not do this place justice! It has a fabulous wrap around deck, and is situated on a beautiful canal where you see spectacular sunset views every night. Will absolutely be back again and we can’t wait!

Probably the best beach rental house we have had the good fortune to stay at!

I had been a bit hesitant with Covid to rent a place but I am sure glad I did. It was immaculately clean. The owner was super attentive and helpful with any questions we had about the area. Short walk to the best beach. We were super excited to find that there were bikes at the house for our use. Most rental houses require a trip to Dollar General -- not this house. The kitchen was beautiful and equipped with everything that was needed or wanted. We parked our car and did not move it again until we were leaving. It did not take my 15 year old long to say he loved this place and he would rent again -- I wholeheartedly agree!

Better than pictures

Geoff was very helpful in booking this property and the house was very clean. It is larger than pictures appear and we were pleasantly surprised. Geoff met us when we arrived and introduced himself and was easy to contact. We had an incident and he was very understanding and was quick to take care of it. Thank you, we will be back for future beach trips!

The perfect get away

first of all, the other reviewers are spot on when they say the pictures do not do the property justice. And i agree that you should rent/bring a kayak or two to enjoy the canals! The owner, Geoff, was incredibly nice and responsive. He made check in extremely easy. This was the perfect location. Close to restaurants and a few grocery stores. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood only a short walk to the state park beach, much less crowded than the city owned beach just to the north. The property is perfect for a small family or two. We had two little dogs who loved playing in the yard. Our 5yo loved riding her scooter and the bikes that were provided by the owner. We loved it here and look forward to our next visit!

Family Vacation

We rented this lovely cottage for the week of July 25th-August 1st. We loved the location overlooking the canal. We enjoyed kayaking every day. The beach was great, our dog enjoyed it as well. We had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Geoff was great. He was attentive, making sure everything was working in the house.

Had a wonderful tine.

This is a great location. The unit is very comfortable. I’d stay here again. The unit was clean and the owner was carful to assure us it was cleaned per CDC guidelines. Geoff was responsive and easy to contact .

Excellent property

We thoroughly enjoyed our long September weekend in this home and did not have a single problem with the property. It is an even prettier home than the photos reveal! The owner was sure to stop by and check in to see that all was well, and was great to chat with. We certainly hope to return next year.
