Cozy Waterfront Cabin! (Garrison Bay Hideaway)

Enjoy this quiet, comfortable waterfront cottage across from historic British Camp National Park with exquisite marine views from every window and stunning sunrises. The master bedroom features a queen bed and a full bath adjacent to the bedroom door.

There is no dock access. This property is situated on a private dead end dirt road across the bay from British Camp National Park. Bring kayaks and paddle boards to take full advantage of this waterfront cabin with a small private beach that is a perfect spot for launching. The dock on the property is not for guest-use. Historic British Camp has miles of trails to enjoy, including an amazing view from the top of Young Hill.

You will find that this rental is the perfect place to spend a romantic week or relax and unwind from a busy lifestyle. Simple, clean and cozy... we know you will find it hard to leave. This home is equipped with a flat screen Smart-Television. Guests are welcome to log in to their own streaming services.

Cook clams, crab and oysters on the outdoor propane barbecue. Within a short distance, you can buy oysters from the oyster farm located in Westcott Bay, which are shipped all over the world.

Fire pits are not usable from May 1st-September 30th due to county burn ban and safety of property and neighboring areas. The ban is usually lifted October 1st if/when conditions and weather are favorable. Firewood not provided.

This home does not have Air Conditioning.

Pets are not allowed at this property.

Please be advised, yard maintenance and landscaping may occur during part of the day.

The BEST VRBO rental we have ever had over the years. We go to the San Juans a couple times every year and wanted exactly what we got. The house is in excellent shape, very clean, every ammenity in the kitchen and BBQ and W/D, dishwasher, etc. PERFECT view of English Camp and beautiful Garrison inlet. Lots of wildlife, easy and accessible. We definitely plan on renting this again, especially since it was so peaceful and comfortable. Although, we don't want the rest of the world to know how great it is because they may not have availability - ha ha.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic time in Garrison Bay. There were plenty of things to do on the island, between exploring roche and Friday harbor, and enjoying all the town events. However, You may find yourself opting to stay home, just for the view of the bay and sleeping in at your cozy bed! The home was well stocked, and we made great use of the grill. We brought our own patio loungers, but there are some already at the house.

Great location! It was extremely quiet there and Roche Harbor was nearby with several restaurants. The British Camp is across the bay and there was great hiking there. The unit was clean and right on the water.

Perfect location on San Juan Island for relaxing with a nice view. Morning coffee on the back patio facing the bay. The bed was comfortable & the space was great for the 2 of us. Had everything we needed to cook breakfast on the days we were there.Clean property and quiet neighborhoods.

The house was clean and the view was amazing!The kitchen was adequate. I understand not putting "nice" things in a rental but, dull knives and no serving spoons.Despite those two items, we will be back!Loved the peace and quiet! Probably much different in the summer.

Quiet, peaceful, and friendly

Great little spot on the water in a quiet nook of the island. Ed and Cindy own the place and live next door, they are super nice and hospitable! Really made our stay feel welcoming and enjoyable! Would stay here again

Birthday/Relaxation Getaway

Wonderful little cabin! Gorgeous view of the water and beautiful, sceanic area! It was a very lovely and cozy stay. One surprise was that although a dishwasher is listed and present, there is a sign saying that we couldnt use the dishwasher and had to handwash the dishes which I been hoping to avoid. Overall lovely trip and highly recommend!

Quiet, Cozy and exquisitely beautiful!

This place was easy to get to and during this time of year felt like it was out of the way like the area was all to ourselves. Gorgeous views of the small bay and English Camp. Close to Roche Harbor. Place was clean and cozy. Plenty of birds to watch. We intend to come back again!

Wonderful Short Getaway

It was a wonderful stay with wonderful views. A very relaxing mini vacation for us. The only complaint is the bed was uncomfortable for us but it is not an uncomfortable bed simply too soft for our liking. The owners were pleasant and always nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Garrison Bay paradise

We loved the location! Right on Garrison Bay overlooking English camp. So peaceful and clean. Loved the patio and getting to eat breakfast and dinner and have a glass of wine in such a beautiful setting. Very quiet for the most part. The home was quite small but still larger than your standard hotel/motel room and so much more inviting. We would love to stay here again.

We truly loved the atmosphere and how easy to place your kayak on the water and head out . Such a beautiful scenery. We did have 2 days of Very low water pressure but we did fine .

Unexpected beauty in the PNW.

This property and location fit exactly what we wanted and needed. The view is breathtaking from inside the cabin and the patio is amazing!! There is plenty to do on the island if that is what you are wanting. If you want to escape and just relax, this is the perfect location. Look forward to coming back next year.
