Located in the heart of Friday Harbor, this newly renovated unit (in a three-unit building) is the perfect space for the adult day-tripper to go and explore all that San Juan Island has to offer and then come back and relax at night in this cozy suite.
Relax and watch a movie on the 32in SMART TV (guests are welcome to log in to their own streaming services account) or cozy up in the queen-sized bed with a good book. The bedside lamps even have a USB port to charge your device while you sleep. The unit is situated with a kitchenette, complete with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster and coffee maker to start your morning off right. This unit for 2 adults is the perfect spot for those who want to explore during the day and relax at night. The private 3/4 bathroom is equipped with a toilet and walk-in shower.

The internet / Wi-fi at this house should be sufficient for streaming video, phone calls, remote work and video conferencing.

Great location to walk to shops, restaurants and Harbor.Each day we would pick up a picnic to take with us, as we ventured out to different parts of the Island.
Whale watching was a success!

Cute little place and super close to everything on Friday Harbor. Excellent for a single traveler or a couple. Only complaint is you can for sure hear everything through the walls, but this is said with other reviews so as long as you don’t mind it’s perfect! Bed was comfy, place was clean and supplied with anything you would need. Had a great trip and will be back!

Great stay

The property was clean and just as pictured. Great location to walk around town, view fun shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: San Juan rental in my experience is clean and affordable for the commuting worker. I have rented a lot of their properties, and I have not been disappointed. Again, I am not here for vacation but to work sleep and repeat. But I do believe I would also enjoy these rooms for an affordable option.

Perfect for our Needs

Check in process was easy and location was amazing! Walls are very thin and you are in a triplex so it is easy to hear others staying in the other units. Perfect if you only plan to be in the room to sleep at night, which is exactly what we needed, but definitely not luxury. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great place to stay. The only real issue is by the 2nd day there were people staying in the adjoining suite and you can hear everything. Also, more light over the kitchen sink would be helpful.

Great location and property was very clean! No sink in bathroom was weird. Only one small mirror over kitchen sink made it difficult for two women to get ready. No iron or ironing board also a minus.

Heart of Friday Harbor

We loved this location and how effortless it made our stay. So simple to access from the ferry and a quick walk to all of the restaurants and shops which allowed us to use our two days efficiently. Lots of easy street parking (but be careful they do pay attention to the time limits; we got a warning) and easy drive to lots of other great things on the island. Only feedback being that the bed is on the smaller side and the shower is very tight but does the trick for a short stay.

Friday Harbor Gem

Great place, awesome location, you can walk everywhere!! Super clean, nice to have a full galley to make a sandwich or dinner, comfortable bed, good water pressure for a refreshing shower.. I’ll be back for sure… easy to walk on and off the ferry.. we heard the neighbors once but it was before 9pm.. great place

Whale Watch Visit

Just what you need for a few days in Friday Harbor. Everything in town is within walking distance. Minor issue - no bathroom sink. Surprisingly, noise from Ace Hardware next door not an issue.

Perfect location

Excellent little cottage. Clean. Nice updates. Just right four stay. Perfect location in Friday harbor and perfect for a couple. We will recommend to anyone and would stay there again for sure. The only concern is the little parking lot can only really accommodate two cars not yheee as stated. But wasn't a problem during our stay. No A/C but none needed in July 2023--just open the door for five minutes at night and you're set. Perfect location.

Great home base for exploring

This was our second stay at this property- we’ve stayed in the #1 unit and now #3. The units are awesome- clean, nicely renovated, laid out to take full advantage of the space. The bed is super comfy and the shower has excellent water pressure- the two things that I’m always looking for in a place to stay! It can be a bit noisy but white noise machines and earplugs are provided and a nice touch. I do recommended an eye mask if you have trouble sleeping with lights on as quite a bit of ambient light makes it into the bedroom. Love this spot- we will be back!

Great location near shops. Restaurants and the Harbor. Easily walkable. We went to a different coffee shop every day to try a variety. Shower is very small and difficult to move around. Sink to use is the kitchen sink. The floors were very dirty so we wore shoes to walk around so our feet would not get dirty. The rooms are very close together and we could hear telling and loud TVs. Earplugs are provided.

The facility is nicely remodeled and very clean, but there is no sink in the bathroom which means all handwashing, shaving and teeth brushing has to be done in the kitchen sink. How disgusting is that? Once I got sick, I was not willing to brush my teeth in the kitchen sink. I would never recommend this place because of that.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately we were there during a heat wave which might have impacted my general view. The property was fine for the price, well located and well supplied. If you are looking for just a place to sleep with a good location, (abutting the parking lot of Ace Hardware) then this place is ok. If you wanted to hang out, look at a view and perhaps read a book then I would strongly suggest somewhere else.But again the cost reflected this disadvantage.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a good spot for a couple nights. I would not stay there long term. It was a nice little spot for a couple days but the security of it needs improvement. There is no A/C and you can’t open the windows at night because there are no screens. Also, the bed was super hard and very uncomfortable. The area is perfect though and the parking situation is great. There is a place to park your car and everything is within walking distance. I would recommend this place.

Drawback is very thin walls

To be up front, this is a bicycle shop transformed into three different units. The different units are separated by doors with locks on either side. These doors are very thin! You can hear conversations from the other people as if they are right next to you. That’s why they put the earplugs on the nightstand. With that said it has everything else you need, warm heaters, wifi, extremely clean and easy to access pinpad, walking distance to downtown and ferry. We enjoyed our stay but I am a light sleeper and used the earplugs, learned some things from our neighbors I didn’t need to know.

Do not expect a good sleep!!!!

The only reason we put 2 stars for location/neighborhood is the noise level (day/eve). The apt is located beside an ACE Hardware (on 2 sides) with lots of traffic and across from a convenient store (lots of traffic). Additionally, the apt is connected to 2 other apts with paper thin walls. One side had the tv on at night and the other side were 2 guys is talked loudly and laughed until we started banging on the walls at 3,30 am to SHUT UP!!!!!! We had to do this 3 times before they stopped. We did the same with the “tv unit” one night and they finally turned it off. Otherwise, the location was great…central to everything, but not worth the lack of sleep!!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ants were a problem and never made aware prior to booking. After letting management know that I left early and how unhappy I was, they made it quite known that they are aware of the problem and would offer ant traps, if I would have let them know. I wonder why aren't the traps already in the units?! Also, I was not offered any kind of refund. Feels like they want your money upfront and don't care what we have to deal with after that!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great and the room was newer and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. However, Room #3 does not have A/C and it faces the ACE Hardware parking lot with a bright security light. The only window which opens faces the parking lot so if you want to use a fan to cool the room - then you get the bright light. This is next to busy street and gas station so you hear loud cars during the night as the window is open. The is a house divided into 3 separate rooms. The only noise barrier is a solid wood door which sound and some light travels through. We had loud neighbors up to almost midnight. Ear foam plugs still didn't stop the noise. A/C would have been a great help so at least the window and blinds could be closed.
