One-bedroom suite near downtown (Argyle Suites-HSA). Located in the heart of Friday Harbor, this cute and cozy Historic suite is the perfect space for the single traveler or couple looking for a relaxing island getaway.

Located in the heart of Friday Harbor, this cute and cozy Historic suite is the perfect space for the single traveler or couple looking for a relaxing island getaway. The suite features a kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The suite has a comfortable living area with couch, Smart TV and Bistro table for two. This suite is also equipped with a full bathroom.

The separate Queen bed is closed off by pocket doors for privacy from the living space/kitchen. The propane stove provides a warm atmosphere for relaxing on those cool, off season, island days, while the front porch and a good book are perfect for those sunny Friday Harbor days.

The blocks surrounding the Argyle Suites offers many delicious restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, ice-cream shops and art galleries, all within walking distance. On Saturday mornings the local San Juan Island Farmer's Market is a 5-minute walk from the Historic Suite! It is perfect for adventure travelers, business guests or a couple's getaway.

The location was great and walkable to most everything. It would be nice to have a larger bar of soap and some sugar and cream for the coffee. Nothing at all in the line of condiments were left behind.

Property was clean and comfortable. It is very convenient to the downtown shops. The kitchen could do with a few more pieces of cutlery (another knife and teaspoon).

Great location! I like that it was minimal with all the supplies but could of used some creamer and sugars seeing that coffee was provided. Pillows are extremely high and firm. But overall very comfy!

Cute place to stay. Just wish it had a welcome/recommendation guide of things to do, places to see or places to eat. If it did, we never found it. Would definitely stay again!

The place is an excellent location. Close to everything. It was warm and cozy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable for me But, my sister is used to flatter down pillows. Over all I would stay here again in a heart beat.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent—quiet and tucked away from the road, with easy parking and a short walk to shops, restaurants, and the water. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a good-sized fridge and oven. We especially appreciated that the host provided plenty of coffee pods to get us through the first couple of mornings. The bedside charging stations, fans, and comfortable sofa were also nice touches.That said, given the price, we expected a little more. The apartment felt somewhat bare-bones, and a few basic additions—such as a toaster, a more complete coffee setup, salt and pepper, more dishes and flatware, extra hand towels in the bathroom, a luggage rack, softer lighting with lamps, and a throw blanket—would have made it feel much more comfortable and welcoming. A lighted path to the apartment would also be very helpful for safety at night. As others have mentioned, the 10 a.m. checkout is a bummer.Overall, we liked the apartment and its location, but adding a few small touches would make it feel more worth the price.

Such a cute apartment. Cozy and clean! Easy walk to anywhere in Friday Harbor. Enjoyed reading our books by the fireplace and out on the front porch.

We had a great stay. Super close to lots of shops and food. Place is adorable just not a big fan of 10am check out. Otherwise was great for most part. We got engaged!

Nice little place close to town. No AC, but we didn’t need it even in late July. Downtown Friday Harbor is a short 2 block walk. Suite is well-appointed and perfect if you are spending your days exploring the island and just want a nice place to sleep.

Great place to stay on San Juan Island!! So close to everything. Walkable to town, restaurants, whale watching tours, groceries etc. we had a car that gave us the opportunity to see the whole island which we did. South beach was beautiful. Roche harbor for lunch. Alpaca farm worth the free visit. San Juan vineyard was perfect for a wind down after a full day. Brought a picnic & enjoyed the free music on Saturday. Our vrbo was a perfect spot. So quiet & had everything we needed. Maybe a few more dishes so we didn’t have to wash after each meal would be helpful. Might check out the Jolly Trolly to tour the island if you don’t have a car. Definitely worth the price!! Thank you!

To stay in this old Victorian was such a treat. So close to downtown. With beautiful views out the windows and from the front porch of the beautiful trees and greenery of the northwest. I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.
