Take a stay in Strand by Me, your dream vacation home located in the desirable Silver Strand Beach area. This beautiful custom home is located on a corner lot with ocean views and steps to the sand. The first floor living area offers one bedroom with a queen-size bed, full bathroom, and comfortable family room equipped with queen size sofa bed, 55ā€ flat screen TV, two comfortable recliners, board games, and access to a large, private enclosed patio. The patio offers plenty of seating and a large propane BBQ.

The second floor features a large living room, with a dining area, fireplace, television, open kitchen, and two additional bedrooms and two bathrooms. A second-floor patio complete with views and a cafƩ table to sip your morning coffee, and a second BBQ, adjoins the living area. A powder room is conveniently located on the second floor.

The fully equipped kitchen is designed to enhance your stay and incorporates plenty of amenities including a dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot and grinder, electric tea pot, cooking and baking utensils, dishes and much more!
The master bedroom has a king size bed, a large dresser, television, natural lighting, and private full bathroom.
An additional guest bedroom includes two twin beds and access to the bonus third level top deck! Enjoy all of what Silver Strand has to offer from your deck. Relax on the love seat, easy chair, or recliner with cushions and gaze on sweeping views of the ocean and the islands.

In the garage you will find bicycles, boogie boards, a surf board and beach chairs to use at your leisure, as well as a washer and dryer.

We do not allow dogs, cats, or smoking

Perfect location

We were in Oxnard for a family reunion with our 3 grown children and their partners. Seven adults were very comfortable. It was clean, bright, great location and a view of the water. What more could you ask for in a beach house?

We will be back!

I really donā€™t have one bad thing to say about this property! We had the best vacation! Our group consisted of 3 adults and 4 kids and the space was perfect for us. Location was everything! We had one small issue with the washer and it was addressed by the property managers immediately. Canā€™t say enough good things! Next summer here we come!

Wonderful Family Holiday

This is a real gem in terms of location, amenities, and overall experience. The property managers are exceptional - very attentive, kind, and accommodating. The home itself is perfectly set up for families with cozy bedrooms, seating areas and exceptional views from nearly every vantage point. If youā€™re a California native (or even not) youā€™ll appreciate how idyllic, peaceful, and not over populated the beaches here are. It was wonderful to wake up each morning to the beautiful views. As you venture out you will be met by friendly neighbors who greet you. For families with small children we found this home well laid out for toddlers and of course the across the street beach access was perfect. The kids got a kick out of the usual beach activities plus watching the surfers who get up just as early as they do :). There is also a natural wonder of sorts happening less than a 5 mins walk from the property - an entire colony of Sea Lions have taken up camp right on the shore. What a treat for the kids. We really have nothing negative to say about his property. Our family enjoyed a wonderful Christmas and New Years holiday. You will love it!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed this Silverstrand vacation rental. It is just steps from the beach which we took full advantage of. We had daily walks on the sand, used the beach cruisers for our street exploration and watched a beautiful sunset. The rental had everything we needed. It was clean and well maintained. We had some difficulties with the remote control operation of various ceiling fans and window blinds. Also, the stair mats (treads) slid around. I recommend something be done to make them more secure.

Wonderful beach house!

Succinctly: elegant, spacious, bright, upscale, prime location. Re location: though one row off beach, the current design of beachfront homes -- yes, most are the three-story megastructures -- permits beautiful views of ocean from 2nd floor living area (you can hear the surf a bit), and from rooftop patio, you have near-spectacular views of ocean, waves, surfers, notably because of a single-story 1939 Spanish-style cottage! Permits a through view...surely not to last...of ocean that is nearly as good as being beachfront. Also, beach access easement directly across the street! Soooo, for slightly lower price, you get a wonderful home with v good ocean views, sounds, smells, tastes...well, if you can cook well. Plus, shopping, Spudnuts donuts, other sevices quite nearby! Hope this helps u in your decision making.
