The view was incredible and the location was beautiful. It was easy to get to the downtown area without a struggle. The only negative is the walls are thin so we could hear the people next door- but no one was loud so it wasn’t too much of a negative- we would stay here again.

This property is exactly as advertised. The view, no matter the weather, is stunning! Lovely space with a mirror that reflects the view and adds to the ambience. Loved the fire, rooms, shower and decks. The kitchen was very well stocked. And we took advantage of the walking paths and beach access so close. Truly a great stay! And great and easy communication with the host!

Unbelievable views of Dana Point and close proximity to downs town and excellent restaurants. The walking trail to the beach was amazing and a bit challenging but worth it! Excellent communication with owner / manager and easy directions to arrive and depart. Fabulous!

Dana Point at its best! Walk down to the Strand Beach or walk the Bluff Trail! Amazing spot for a relaxing vacation without the traffic of other OC beach cities, but easy access to PCH gets into the heart of the OC in 20 minutes.

The views and location can’t be beat! The condo building is up on a cliff so it can get windy. For us, it was only in the afternoons so it was easy to enjoy most of the day on the front patio. We stayed in unit 4 of the condo building. There are two floor AC units in the bedrooms but it can get pretty hot when it’s all closed up. There was a fan and you can open the windows for the breeze off the ocean and it cools down pretty quick. The kitchen had all the basics of a rental and made it easy to cook. It’s not what I would call updated but has everything you need and everything works. Chairs and umbrellas were awesome. The trail to walk to the beach can be a bit tough coming back up but it’s so close it is worth it! There are two other access points further down the beach but the bathrooms were right at the end so it’s pretty perfect. Chris, the property manager was super helpful as was Jack the owner. If we ever end up back in Dana Point we will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, well-equipped condo with an unparalleled ocean view! Both the property owner and the property manager quickly answered all questions. Check-in instructions were clear and provided well ahead of our arrival time. I can't say enough good things about our experience here and can unequivocally recommend this property to anyone wishing a relaxing oceanside retreat.

Amazing condo

Well stocked, clean, and a breathtaking view. Property manager and owner are quick to respond and very helpful. It was my third stay here, and I’m looking forward to returning.

Spectacular view

The view is breathtaking. We absolutely loved our stay. The location is fantastic close to excellent restaurants and shopping. We can’t wait to stay there again. Jack was wonderful, he wanted to ensure we were comfortable and if we needed anything I knew I could reach out. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Beautiful views and comfortable beds!

I stay at VRBOs and hotels frequently. This was one of the best in recent memory. The online listing is exactly as it is--beautiful condo on a bluff overlooking the ocean. The ocean access is a short walk as is a hiking path in the conservation area. The condo was clean and very, very comfortable. The beds and pillows were great! The property manager was not only responsive, but went above and beyond by dropping off binoculars when I asked if there were any! Wow! Will definitely rent here again!

The Headlands

The condo is set on top of a bluff overlooking the ocean, and commands wonderful views. The unit itself is very comfortable, with ample seating, and a nice gas fireplace for ambiance and additional heat. A real bonus is the front enclosed deck with seating and a great gas grill for barbecuing. The ocean facing balcony, while very nice, was often too windy to truly be able to enjoy, but again the views were outstanding. The kitchen leaves leaves something to be desired if you plan on doing a fair amount of cooking, as the stove is very old, and the numbers on the knobs are worn off, making it difficult to set the stove to the proper temperature. The bed in the primary bedroom is extremely comfortable. We didn't use the 2nd bedroom. The decor in the living/dining room is very nice, but the bedrooms are quite plain and not very welcoming. While the beach is very close by, one has to traverse a long trek up and down stairs and winding ramps to reach it. There is a nice albeit short, elevated walking path along Stands park that has nice views and doesn't require any steps,The host was very friendly and helpful, and we had a very nice stay in this condo.
