Beckenham 111 is a wonderful three-bedroom, three-bath villa on the 9th hole of Port Royal Golf which is one of the closest complexes to the beach in this area! This villa is located on the first floor for easy access to and from the on-site amenities that include a shared pool to take a dip when the weather heats up. Plus, you will be a short walk to the beach. The main bathroom has been recently remodeled! This villa also features a beautiful sunroom overlooking the golf course with ample seating, so sip a favorite cocktail in style as the sun goes down. Plus, movie nights will be a breeze with the DVD player and TV.

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by The Good Neighbor Policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
The community pool is open from April 1st, 2023 to October.

Nice home, spacious bedrooms, clean. We would have found it immensely helpful if directions for walking to the beach had been provided. Only by reading other reviews about walking through vendor parking between two resorts were we able to find it. Islanders Beach was close, but not close enough to walk if you are carrying a bunch of stuff. Parking at Islanders Beach was limited for visitors, free in late September, but probably fills up quickly at other times of year. Wifi in the unit was spotty. Communication with property managers was excellent, they resolved issues with keyless entry batteries and dishwasher quickly.

Great experience

There were four adults (two couples) and a 5 year old on our trip. The space was more than enough, and we easily could have had plenty of room with a few more people. Everything was comfortable, and we had what we needed. Accessibility to the beach was less than a ten minute walk, although it was not the most convenient since we were basically walking through a vendor parking lot for the hotel. I wouldn't necessarily recommend for guests with young kids due to that walk, but it was good enough for us in that regard. We would definitely come back here.

Great property

We really enjoyed the relaxing, beautiful atmosphere at Beckenham 111. The weather didn't always cooperate during our stay, but we were able to enjoy being "outside" in the sunroom space.

Family vacation

Property is decent. Living area and dining area is spacious and well suited to family. Kitchen was not clean at all. We had to wash every pan we used. Some were so greasy I didn’t want to use them. Utensils had food caked on it. Plates and bowls were in cabinet and wet. When I pulled out plate for dinner, water spilled all over me and the floor. Silverware was wet in drawer. Opened bags of chips and crackers were in cabinet and old coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Beds are comfortable. Nice that there are 6 different beds for larger or extended family. The entire unit smelled very strongly of bleach for the first several hours after we checked in. Nice location. Easy access to pool.

Girlfriend Getaway

The location is great . The condo has a mildew smell and the ac/heat was a little troublesome. But the location is great and the furnishings were perfect.

Beckenham Unit 111

Our stay at Beckenham 111 was a bit disappointing. Though the unit felt spacious for four adults and the sunroom was a plus, the upkeep of the condo was lacking. A new (?) A/C wall unit had been installed in one bedroom, which apparently did not fit the original space, because we walked in and found the cover lying on the floor and patches of paint/plaster torn off the wall; not a great first impression. To make things worse, roaches appeared throughout the week—in the bedrooms and one even on the kitchen counter. The kitchen was minimally stocked (with an abnormal abundance of colanders, but limited pan options) and there was no broom accessible, even outside (though a vacuum and hand vac were on-site). There were no spare bulbs available to replace those that were burned out. More doormats would also be helpful, for wiping shoes/feet when coming back inside, even tough we honored the request to take our shoes off inside the unit.

Great Place

Roomy, private, clean and updated! Everything we needed and more to enjoy our family getaway to start the New Year off right. Close to many activities and fun just relaxing on the outside decks and enclosed seasons room. Our family had a “Great Time at a Great Place!”

Could be 5-star, but...

Pros: - Furnishings (beds, chairs, couches) comfortable & kitchen well-equipped. - Location w/canal behind & view of golf course provided alligator, deer & bird sightings. - Easy check-in/-out & communication was prompt. Cons: - We were waiting at 4pm to enter, but cleaning staff did not leave until about 4:10. Originally gave 5 stars for cleanliness, but later found trash, toys & opened Pringles can under couch/bed. - One BR & the back porch area in this condo seem to have been add-ons to the original unit, since both areas had separate AC units in addition to the central air that cooled the main areas. Those units are older, noisy & the one in the BR gave out mid-stay. Maintenance tried to fix, but finally determined that it needed to be replaced, which didn't happen before we left. Vacasa did compensate us for this. - All throw & area rugs need to be replaced, especially the 2 round ones in the bathrooms - old, dirty & stained. - Sliding screen doors to decks need to be replaced or fixed so that they slide properly. Maintenance tried to fix, but they were still difficult to open/close. You should know if you rent: - Walk to beach could be 5 min. if you walk quickly & don't have little ones or anything to pull/carry. Otherwise, it's closer to 10 min. There are 2 ways to get there, one through the Mariott resort lots & delivery areas; the other to Islander Beach Park through the neighborhood. Use the gate by the parking area which puts you right out on the street & you don't have to walk through the condo complex. Bottom Line: Could be a great choice if needed updates/repairs are addressed.

There were three couples in our group and this home worked perfectly to support us. Although a little dated, it was well equipped with cookware, knives, glasses, W/D, and related necessities. The unit was just around the corner from a beach access. Parking was ample and private (it is the end unit and, thus, the parking area is cordoned off from the other parking areas. One particularly helpful feature was the heater/AC unit in the atrium. It was quite chilly the first few days of our visit, but the atrium heater quickly warmed it up making that feature fully usable. The only issue we had was getting the main heating unit to continue working. The first three attempts were met with a tripped electrical breaker. But, I gave it one last try before reporting and it started working and remained on for the entire week without issue. Vacasa provided correct information as to the door code (it did have one extra button to push, but I soon figured that out). All in all I give this two thumbs up and a five star rating.

Snowbirds Forever

111 Beckenham was perfect for our first adventure to be snowbirds! While the mid-west was being plummeted with snow and ice, we walked on the beach, or watched egrets in the lagoon as they fished for dinner each evening from our lovely screened-in porch. The photos of each room are picture perfect, and we were able to move in with ease. The apartment was clean, warm, and comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We were very pleased.

Snowbirds Forever

This property provided us with a picture perfect haven to escape the winter storms of the Midwest in mid-January and February! We are planning to extend the length of our next trip. It was our home away from home…..comfortable, beautiful, and a great location.

Wonderful Stay

We booked last minute for Thanksgiving week and found the perfect place. Clean, spacious, well equipped and very quiet. 5 minute walk to the beach. Beach chairs included with unit. We enjoyed the sunroom each morning. An early walk/run on the beach than breakfast & reading in the comfortable heated sunroom. Till it was time to go back to the beach! Comfortable beds & plenty of hot water. Instructions for everything were detailed-location and Check in. We will be back

Convenient and fun spot

very nice condo, spacious for a three bedroom location, small but functional kitchen, had a really nice covered sunroom to sit in overlooking the golf course and a canal (saw an alligator from our deck) and very convenient. Easy access to the beach which was nice. Pool was a bit small and often very crowded.

Vacation Week

Wonderful HHI family get away!!

My family loved everything about the property and location! Only complaint was the water never got hot in the bathroom with the twin beds (not a major issue) Only suggestion would be to have more wash rags and some kitchen pot holders.
