Escape to Anchor-In OBX, your ultimate family beach house just a 2-min walk from the Rodanthe Pier! This spacious home comfortably fits 10+ guests. Enjoy breathtaking ocean & sound views from expansive decks. Features a private pool with a Tiki bar, hot tub, game closet, and a fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for creating unforgettable family memories on the Outer Banks.

Top Floor:
Bright, open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area.
Fully equipped kitchen with all-new appliances and updated cookware.
Combined dining table and kitchen island seating for ten.
Expansive decks with breathtaking views of both the ocean and the sound.
Serene King bedroom with a smart TV.
Large en-suite bathroom with a stand-up shower and a luxurious jetted whirlpool tub.

Middle Level:
Additional living area with two comfortable couches and a full-sized pullout sofa.
Closet filled with games for all ages.
Deck with a relaxing hammock and a hot tub to enjoy the ocean sounds.
Bedroom 1: King bed.
Bedroom 2: King bed.
Bedroom 3: Kids' room with a queen-bottom/twin-top bunk bed (an additional mattress is also available).
Full bathroom with a tub shower.

Outdoor & Family Amenities:
Private pool with a basketball hoop.
Poolside Tiki bar.
Convenient outdoor shower.
Beach toys and laser tag for endless fun.
For families with little ones: Pack 'n Play, high chair, and baby safety gates are provided.

Our beautiful beach and Rodanthe pier are only a few minute walk away as well as the nearest coffee shops.

Parking for 4 vehicles.

Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip from unexpected events like cancellations, medical emergencies, or weather-related issues, including hurricanes. As hosts, we cannot offer refunds for these disruptions.

Pool: The private pool is typically open from March through the end of October. The pool can be heated for an additional daily fee; please inquire for details.

Security: For your safety, this property has 2 Ring Security Cameras. One monitors the driveway and another monitors the rear yard. These cameras operate 24/7.

Grill: A charcoal grill is provided for your use. Please note that guests are responsible for supplying their own charcoal and lighter fluid.

Overall for what you get for the price it is a nice place to stay and convenient to the beach. Owners were very responsive and easy checkin, etc.

Beautiful beach house with all the amenities

We took a quick weekend getaway to celebrate our daughters 16th bday. It was 2 min walk to the beach and pier for all the sunset,sunrise lovers. Loved the heated pool and hot tub. Highly recommend for all ages!

Perfect getaway

This property is tucked away off of the main road and offers plenty of privacy. We brought our own groceries and remained at the house for the majority of the time-everything we needed was right there. The pool was wonderful, the hottub was perfect for those chilly nights. The view is breathtaking-you could literally fall asleep listening to the waves on the hammock. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Great house overall. Ac was not working and I contacted the owners and they quickly sent out maintenance to repair the ac. Heated pool was amazing! Will book again!

OBX Getaway

This rental has everything you need for a wonderful getaway to OBX. The hosts, Erika and Casey are very helpful and quick to respond to any inquiry or need. The rental is conveniently close to the beach and nearby fishing pier. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants and food options in the vicinity. The layout of the house and rooms make it very accommodating for large groups. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rental has all the necessary amenities to make your stay relaxing and carefree. The pool and hot tub are a great way to chill out after a long day adventuring or at beach. Would definitely recommend this rental for your next OBX trip!

We’ll be back

We arrived on a sweltering hot day to find the house in excellent condition and the AC to already have the house in perfectly cooled temperatures. We were so impressed with its cleanliness, and how well stocked it was for our family upon arrival. Each and every one of the bedrooms reported how comfortable the mattresses were. Great location where you can view and hear the ocean from the deck as well as the sound. Lastly, we were granted late checkout which made our day traveling and absolute enjoyable experience. We noticed all the extra little details the hosts put into this house to make our stay amazing!

Good location, quiet area

Really nice part of the islands, much quieter and less developed than the more northern stretches. It's a fairly short walk to the beach and the sound. The pool was clean and nice in the afternoon (a bit chilly at night!). The house itself is nice, the outdoor bath and shower was very handy. Water pressure was not great but that's probably the water supply and not the house. The house overall was clean and in good shape save a few bits of wear typical of a rental house. We were comfortable and it was a nice space to hang out. An electronic lock would be a nice upgrade, I was paranoid about losing the only house key the whole time. This is a great place to get away from things a bit but be aware that the dining options are a bit few on this part of the island. There were some nicer options down in Avon where we ate several times.

Good but not great

We loved the Rodanthe/Waves location on OBX. My teens & I explored OBX with day excursions, surfing, horseback riding, & fishing charters. We also enjoyed several lazy days with swimming, biking, & of course local fishing. (The boys caught & released a shark!) But… At the 1,000 per day price point I anticipated a closer proximity to the beach, (it’s not steps from the beach), the primary bedroom was lacking, along with the primary bathroom. All in all we enjoyed our vacation.

Love the house and location!

This is our 2nd time staying here and certainly not our last! The owners go above and beyond to accommodate and make sure the stay is a good one! The house is always spotless, the remodel they’ve done is perfect, and the location to everything is central and still gives the “private” feel at the same time! Absolutely love this property.

Great place to stay in the Outer Banks

We had a very good time at Casey and Ericka's home. The house was clean, nicely finished, and close to the beach which was helpful with two children. Kids loved the air hockey table and the hot tub was great at the end of the day. The owners were extremely responsive. We had an issue with the air conditioner Sunday afternoon and they were able to have someone come by within a couple of hours to fix the problem. Would happily go back in the future.

Great first time with family in the Outer Bank

We really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the low key town of Rodanthe and the beautiful beaches. The house was very clean, and more than enough space for our family of 5. Kids enjoyed going in the pool, and all of the amenities of the home. My husband I really enjoyed sitting out on the decks watching the sunrise and beautiful sunsets. It was a very relaxing family vacation!

Can not be happier with this property

We were the lucky family to rent after a full renovation. Loved every details in this house. The owners had definitely put a lot of through into make the home as convenient as possible for the guests. We went there early June, the water was a little cold but gets comfortable almost immediately after you get in, there's a volleyball net in the yard, owners provided badminton and volleyball. The house is a very short walk to the beach which wasn't crowded at all in early June. Everything is super clean, very comfortable. location is very convenient too. Very sad to leave.

Casey is an architectural designer working for a post and beam company in MA. We have 2 beautiful daughters that enjoy sports, the beach and dance! We love to show our girls different parts of the country and now share our love for travel ! We aim to provide comfortable family homes in our favorite spots !! The Outer Banks holds a very special place in our hearts and we cant wait to host you here :)

This home is our favorite place to be with our friends and family !! A perfect spot for relaxing by the pool or hot tub, drinking coffee on the top decks while watching the sun rise or walking the short 1/10 of a mile to the ocean. Rain or shine our home has it all from great cozy indoor decor and plenty of outdoor stuff to do, the kids will stay entertained and you will stay relaxed !! It is located in the beautiful quaint town of Rodanthe. You too will love this spot and see what we love about our favorite beach town and home !
