Welcome to Casa Vista Grande located in the lovely condominium complex of La Casa Que ve Al Mar in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Designed by renowned architect Enrique Zozaya, La Casa Que Ve al Mar is a 39 unit complex located on a hillside overlooking beautiful Playa La Ropa and Zihuatanejo Bay. Playa La Ropa beach is a 3-4 minute stroll down the hill!!

Casa Vista Grande is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom contemporary condo just completed in recent years giving it a very clean and fresh feeling and appearance. It is located on the 5th floor(next to top floor) of the most recently completed phase of La Casa Que Ve al Mar complex and has elevator access. It has magnificent views of the bay, spectacular sunsets and the blue Pacific Ocean. Casa Vista Grande is tastefully furnished with native Mexican art and pottery and has marble floors with intricate inlaid stone throughout. Smart TV and private wireless internet access is included at no charge.

We had the best time at this condo in Zihua! If you’re looking for a stress-free spot that actually feels like a home, this is it.Jack was an awesome host. He was super quick to reply to all our questions before we even got there and stayed in touch during the trip. His local recommendations were total game-changers—he really knows the area!The condo itself was perfect. A lot of rentals are hit-or-miss, but this one was genuinely well-stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed to actually cook, and there were plenty of fresh towels and linens, which made things so much easier.It’s a great spot to kick back and enjoy the Zihua life. We’re definitely coming back! Thanks again, Jack!

We just spent 21 nights at this beautiful condo. The views were absolutely stunning. The walk up to the condo at first seemed a bit daunting but after a few days we looked forward to that little bit of exercise. The condo is totally fully equipped with absolutely everything you need, lime press, blenders you name it, lots of towels etc. we especially we’re very grateful for all the detailed information that Jack gave us on recommendations for restaurants etc. We tried many of them and were very pleased. Triton was our go to, La Perla had the BEST CAMARONES cocktail we have ever had. We met some super nice people at the complex, Loved that the pool was 86! Dulce (concierge) was so helpful. Rosalinda, the maid was very meticulous. We chose to do the grocery service with Maria, and I’m so glad we did. It was so nice to arrive to fresh produce, cold beer. Everything you’d want you could just order , well worth it.Five star all the way, we would definitely come back. I have nothing negative to say. It was a great place to stay.Thank you Jack

Beautiful, comfortable stay.

Owner and prop mngr were very helpful with navigating places to go. Property has everything you need. Views are incredible. Lovely location close to the beach, restaurants, easy taxi ride to town.

Another wonderful stay

We have stayed at Jacks condo many times and is a home away from home for us in Zihua. Comfortable beds, great furnishings and very convenient to the beach, restaurants and bus route or taxis if you want to go into town. Also cannot beat the view. We loved having coffee and cocktails on the balcony overlooking the bay. It would be nice if the condo concierge would actually be physically available with office hours posted, even if for a limited time. Also, kudos to the guards who became our “new friends” calling for taxis and giving us much needed information on Zihua and the local area. Thank you Jack!

2nd Stay

Zihuat is lovely, quiet, chill place to vacation. The views from condo are priceless. Jack is an amazing host. All staff (dulce, rosalinda, jose (sorry if I remembered name wrong...the young man who waters the plants) and all the security staff)) are friendly and professional. We enjoyed our 2 week stay. Thanks.

Our new home away from home

Zihua is a beautiful little fishing village, La Ropa is the premier beach and Casa Vista Grande is a gorgeous home! Every photo you see in the listing is EXACTLY what you get. Very spacious (no crowding each other) with spectacular views of the bay. It has a FULLY equipped kitchen that I wish I had in my own home. This isn't a pared down version of anything. We have stayed in 2022 and 2023 with friends and have tried both beds. Both are comfortable so no worries about who gets the "good" bed. Although the master bedroom is larger and has its own deck and ensuite, we found the 2nd bedroom very comfortable. The 2nd bathroom makes it perfect for sharing with friends. Dulce (Concierge) is there to help with anything you need to make your stay memorable, and Rosalinda keeps the condo spotless and fresh. Be sure to chat with the guards on your way to and from the condo. They are so friendly and we had many laughs with them. My friend asked one of them to help her practice her Spanish so every time we passed him she got a mini- lesson. And the 2 infinity pools... the perfect way to cool off during those reliably hot days and balmy nights. We were there in April and there were always lounge chairs availablle. There's a very good reason it's hard to find a date that isn't already booked. This is the best deal you'll find for a luxury condo in Zihua...... book it before your preferred date is taken. Thank you so much Jack, we will be back for sure.

Everyone should run their rental like this

Loved this place, much better than the high rise condos we have stayed at in Ixtapa. Jack does not cheap out, you have everything you need for the entire stay. There is no need to go the the store for any supplies. It’s nice that a maid comes in twice a week for a cleaning and there is an on-site concierge if you need anything else. Perfect view, far enough away for a quite nights sleep while still being close to town.

Un autre beau voyage à Zihua

Spacieux condo avec toutes les commodités. Propreté du condo et du site irréprochable. Bien situé par rapport à la plage et au Centro de Zihua. Dans les dernières années, Zihua s'est refait une beauté et c'est très propre. Pour personne en bonne condition physique car plusieurs côtes à monter. Merci à Jack et Dulce.

Lovely condo

We loved this condo, it was everything that we were hoping for. Beautiful views, gorgeous pools and very close to La Ropa beach. The condo was spacious and had everything that we needed. 5 minute walk to the beach and 20 minute walk to town. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Zihuatenejo vacation

Awesome location with the amazing views and beautiful infinity pools. Peaceful and quiet resort. Jack is extremely helpful and responsive as was Dulce, the Concierge. She helped with all our planning needs. Overall one of the best vacation experiences in Mexico. My husband and I have been there 3 times and always stay in Jack's condo. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property.

The property is clean and has everything you need. The view is outstanding. If you are in decent condition you can do the walk to and from the beach or town, Cabs are easy to get, just ask Dulce or the guard and they will call one for you. The owner Jack is always available if you have questions but we mostly talked with the concierge ( Dulce) for info. My wife and I highly recommend this property. Dont miss out on the garlic Octopus at La Perla, rent an umbrella on the beach for 200 paso and enjoy the day. Dont forget the massage for 300 paso as well. Enjoy.

Beautiful apartment

The apartment was beautiful and amazing views . The kitchen had everything you needed plus more . It was great for us as we cooked there a lot . Jack is a great host . Sent us some much information on the apartment and area and also a lovely welcome note with a beautiful bunch of flowers . Lovely touch. . The 2 pools were lovely. Just looking out over the ocean . Early to Rise

The condo is beautiful and very comfortable. I had reserved for a week, but left after the second night. Unfortunately there was construction going on right next to this condo, jackhammering starting at around 8 a.m.. Jack had informed me that there was some construction going on the night before I was travelling, so I didn't feel that I had enough time to look into other options and decided to stick with the plan in hopes that it wouldn't be too loud. That wasn't the case I contacted Jack, as well as the property manager (who said that there was no noise next to the pool, so I should go to the pool). Jack was very helpful and swiftly got my money refunded. We moved to Villa Mexicana on the beach. La Ropa beach is very beautiful. Once the construction has finished, I would recommend this condo for someone wanting a place for an extended stay. It is a steep hike up and down, so only for the able bodied. As I was only there for a week, I was much happier staying right on the beach.

Amazing Stay...

This property was STUNNING! The condo had everything we needed and more for a very comfortable stay. The location was excellent for easy access to the beach and places to eat. Be aware that the condo is situated on a hill so be prepared for a steep walk or just take a inexpensive cab ride back and forth. Jack was very responsive and gave detailed instructions and suggestions. All in all it was an excellent vacation. We were very sad to leave and hope to return again soon to this lovely property.

Well appointed, lovely grounds, incredible views!

This condo was more than perfect, an easy walk to the pool, beach ( having the elevator was a bonus), Dulce , the concierge, housekeeping and the staff at the entrance to the resort were so nice and always accommodating. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely go back!

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans ce magnifique condo! L'aménagement luxueux des lieux, la vue époustouflante, le très grand confort de l'unité sont certainement les raisons pour ce séjour de rêve! Perfect!!

We absolutely loved our week in Zihua. This condo is truly special - a peaceful area, we felt safe, and Dulce the concierge took care of calling taxis for us, and we spent many a hot afternoon lounging indoors enjoying the lovely view. By day 5, I was looking at availability to book our next trip. We walked to the beach and to town and loved meeting the people of Zihuatanejo. We loved having our own space, the infinity pool, the proximity to Playa la Ropa, and the comfortable furniture. If you’re debating this place - just do it!!! Such a wonderful wonderful time.

Amazing accomodations and vacation!

I cannot express how fabulous this "villa" is! Kitchen, laundry, balcony with breath-taking views, TWO infinity pools! Close to everything (beach, restaurants, town). This home is spacious, welcoming. The on-site manager, Dulce, is warm and available. Rosalinda is the housekeeper and not intrusive at all. Do not miss sunset! Simply Wonderful!!!

We stayed in Jack's lovely Casa Vista Grande condo for 7 nights later part of February. As all other reviews mention, the views from this condo are outstanding, great amenities in the condo, comfortable bed and nice kitchen to do some cooking. Also utilized the washer & dryer, worked great. Very, very quiet, everyone around us and the complex itself. There is the main road very nearby, but didn't create a lot of noise. The grounds around the complex and pools, lovely, lovely, very well maintained. Speaking of pool, we loved, loved, LOVED the larger infinity edge pool We were there every day and was never crowded...still dreaming of that pool! Great location, just 5 minute walk down to La Ropa beach (fantastic beach) and within walking distance to many other restaurants as well. We loved the walking up and down hill, but could easily be a problem with people with mobility issues, but we also on occasion took taxis up the hill to get back to condo after a long day out. Taxis very cheap and easy to get one. Dealing with Jack was a pleasure, and he answered all my questions promptly. Shout out to Antonio, on-site Concierge, he picked us up from the airport and he also pre-stocked the condo with grocery items for us, as well as helping make a few reservations here and there and calling us some taxis at night. Was a pleasure dealing with him and felt like we made a good friend by the time we left. A+ to Antonio!! We would rent Casa Vista Grande again in a heartbeat, thanks so much Jack for sharing your piece of paradise with us!!!! Kind Regards, Laurie & Steve Belmont

STELLAR!!!

This will be the 20th 5-STAR Rating for CASA VISTA GRANDE. We echo all the positive comments about Jack, the condo, the complex, the neighbours, the staff, the view and the location. My husband and I stayed for 16 days in December. Our first time to Zihuat and 1st time in condo vs 16 times in all inclusive resorts throughout mexico. I said, 'I don't want to cook and do laundry while on vacation' LOL..but I LOVED having daily access to laundry and to a full kitchen..it made our vacation. Dinners out of course and a couple of nights ordering pizza in, but nice to be able to fix a snack or make some nachos without having to go out. One night we had neighbours over for appies and bevies and another night we went to their place. Wouldn't do that in a hotel room. A couple of nights we even watched Netflix (nice touch to have access to movies if want a quiet night to relax). Jack, Antonio and Rosalinda with a shout out to Eli...we thank you all for our wonderful, memorable vacation and can't wait to see you again SOON. Hasta Luego. (Sherry and Donovan)

We found Zihuatanejo about 30 years ago. At first we stayed in Hotels but became so completely entranced with the area we had to buy a condo to be able to spend more time there each year. The complex and our condo reflects our love of peace and tranquility.

Zihuatanejo is a real, live, working Mexican fishing village. Our wonderful Mexican neighbors are just that, our neighbors and Friends. We always feel welcome and part of the Zihua. family when we are there. Having traveled much of the world I must say that Zihua. is very special and inviting to guests.
