The most sought after villa with open floor plan in Heron Marsh!! Come experience a wonderful stay at this immaculate villa!
Barefeet Retreat is a low country 2 story, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa overlooking a large saltwater marsh located within the gated community of Litchfield By The Sea (LBTS) and a short walk to the pristine Litchfield beach and pool. Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy the stunning coastal Carolina sunsets from the oversized deck off the back or a hammock below at this peaceful retreat.

This villa has been meticulously renovated blending modern touches with coastal charm and everything is brand new. When we say "everything is brand new" we mean everything. All new appliances, new furniture, new HVAC systems, new floors, new TVs, new light fixtures, etc. The villa features a custom fully equipped kitchen with quartz counter tops, flat top range, and other modern appliances.

MAIN FLOOR: 1 bedroom (with 1 queen and 1 twin XL bed) with ceiling fan, full bath, open floor plan with kitchen, dining, and living area that opens to sundeck with saltmarsh view.

SECOND FLOOR: 1 bedroom (with 1 King) with ceiling fan, full bath, kids ensuite (with 1 twin)

AMENITIES: Flat screen smart TVs (with cable) in living room and both bedrooms, wireless internet access, an outside shower with hot and cold water, microwave, dishwasher, full size washer/dryer, covered patio, covered parking, private community pool.

ACCESSIBLE AMENITIES: Miles of soft sandy beach, oceanfront clubhouse with large deck area with sun shades, bathrooms and multiple rinsing showers. Community swimming pool, 5 lighted outdoor tennis courts and 2 pickleball courts, biking and walking/jogging paths, lakeside fishing, and close proximity to prominent golf courses and trendy eateries.

BEACH ACCESS: 4-5 minute walk

HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: Full departure clean service after every guest, bed linens and bath towels provided with beds made upon arrival. Bath towels, hand towels, face cloths, and bathmats. (Does not include beach towels)

PARKING: covered parking available

LENGTH OF STAY: Weekly stays only in summer (some partial weeks available). Partial week stays available during off season.

Check out time 10:00 AM Check in time 4:00 PM

No smoking and Community rules do not permit renters to bring pets.

No motorcycles, RVs, Campers, Buses, motorized skateboards or trailers are allowed in the LBTS community.

Maximum Occupancy is 6.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The condo was spotless and we appreciated the use of the washer/dryer and the beach chairs. The condo is well equipped and comfortable. We would love to stay here again.

This property was outstanding for our purposes. We wanted a few days at the beach, at the pool, on the tennis courts, and including easy bike rides. We achieved all! The greatest surprise was how beautiful and accessible Huntington Beach State Park and beaches were. The house was immaculate, fully stocked, and organized for lots of time cooking up seafood in the kitchen. We really appreciated this. Thanks for making this such a wonderful getaway for us, Scott!

The villa is exactly as described, very welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped and the deck is the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The hosts sent a welcome guide full of information and restaurant suggestions. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Great place for a small crew

We opted for a place to stay at Litchfield By The Sea that had marsh views, and we were not disappointed. The deck overlooking the marsh is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee. Everything else about this unit in Heron Marsh Villas is wonderfully updated. Comfortable beds

Beautiful Condo!

My friend and I came for a relaxing girls weekend and the condo was perfect! It had everything we needed for our stay and we were very comfortable there! The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will certainly be back!

Great spot

This was the best organized rental we have used. Communication was exceptional, rental has been recently renovated and is very clean . Close to the beach and pickle ball courts. Litchfield is a great gated community. Highly recommend Barefeet retreat

Just as described

The villa was clean and well stocked. It was a great location- near the pickleball/tennis courts and the beach. The community is close to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions. Communicating with the owner was excellent as was the guide that was provided.

Spectacularly Clean Villa

This was a quick weekend getaway - and unlike most of my trips - spontaneous and unplanned. After weeks of dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, I decided a break was needed from the constant scenes of destruction... caution tape, debris piles, military convoys, water supply stations, portable showers etc. Boy did I luck out finding this property!! The "newly renovated" wording caught my eye, and I love Litchfield By The Sea. Amazingly this place was available on short notice and so off we went. It is a beautiful, spectacularly clean, and well appointed villa. The virtual guest info site was super helpful and the hosts were friendly and responsive. The beds were comfy, the linens high quality (I notice things like that! 😊) with simple, modern decor. Loved the deck furniture too. The kitchen was also very well stocked. Since we haven't had clean running water back home, we've been mostly eating pre-packaged food. When I saw how clean the villa's kitchen was, and how well stocked the cupboards and drawers were - I realized it would be fun to cook! Usually vacation for me is all about eating out and finding great restaurants. So this was a switch! But it was fun to find myself in an extremely clean kitchen complete with different types of cooking oil and even fresh unopened spices. There was also a coffee station with a fresh bag of coffee! Overall, I get the impression that the owners care for this place as if they themselves live there. I hope to return!!

Great Villa

We have stayed in the Heron Marsh area for over 10 years at Litchfield by the Sea and this is the most updated and modern equipped villa we have used. Owner has great communication and of course the villa is as advertised. I highly recommend.

Great Getaway

We couldn’t have asked for anything more for our trip! The condo had everything we could need and had so much space! Easy walk to beach, pool and tennis! We will definitely try to stay at Barefeet Retreat again!

Pleasant stay

My third visit to LBTS, and my family and I enjoyed staying at this condo. Besides being nicely remodeled and simply and attractively decorated, the owners have included a number of features that contribute to a pleasant stay. These features include comfortable beds (not too hard and not too soft), quality bed linens, good shower heads, comfortable seating, and blackout curtains in the downstairs bedroom, and I think the upstairs one as well. And importantly, we had the use of beach chairs and umbrellas. The owner was communicative and very helpful in answering questions. We wish it were a little closer to the beach but loved the beautiful marsh view. A great condo!

Family Vacation

Amazing and Well Appointed Condo

We loved this condo- probably the best VRBO we’ve stayed in. The owners were super helpful pre-check in sending info on the area and all details for checking in (and out). The condo is stocked with everything you could need- from beach chairs and toys to coffee, basic kitchen items, books and puzzles, etc. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re headed to Litchfield!!

The condo was exactly as described, beautifully decorated and fully equipped.

The condo is a two bedroom, two bath home with kitchen, dining area and living area combination. It has a large porch overlooking the marsh. It is walking distance to the pool, tennis courts and beach. We were treated to a tropical storm which kept us inside for a day and a half but also allowed us to relax and enjoy the condo.

Perfect Property

The villa is perfect and exceptionally organized. Everything you could ever need or want was provided. The area was quiet, and we were comfortable during our stay. Flet safe due to the secure access to the property as well. Something that was never lacking was communication. Very impressed!
