Luxurious 4 bedroom with pool in unbeatable Sayulita location

Casa Norte is a lovely three-bedroom and two-bathroom villa with a detached one-bedroom and one-bathroom guesthouse also located on the property. The house rests less than one block from the beach, just north of the left surf break. This is a very quiet neighborhood with other elegant villas and vacation rental properties. Being so close to town, the beach, and no hills mean you don't need a golf car or rental car during your stay.

Casa Norte is privately located behind two large gates (secure parking) which open up to the beautiful garden/pool area equipped with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a large step in the pool to keep you cool. The grass yard is highlighted with natural tropical plants and flowers. If your are lucky, you might even be able to eat bananas directly from our trees.

The large outdoor palapa-covered living/dining area is big enough to easily accommodate every member of your group. Strategically placed fans ensure constant fresh air throughout the day and nights. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary equipment to prepare lavish meals or freshly caught fish. For an additional fee, a private chef can be provided.

The master bedroom is spacious and bright due to the door that opens to the garden and pool. A king sized bed allows for comfortable sleeps and the big private bathroom has plenty of room for all your belongings.

The two other bedrooms are traditional in size and have a king sized bed and 2 twins (which can be converted into another king).

Bathrooms are spacious and are equipped with soap/shampoo/conditioner for your convenience as well as blow dryers.

The 2nd story guesthouse is separate from the main house and has big sliding doors to the views of the garden and pool. It provides a queen sized bed and private bathroom.

Beautiful Villa for a relaxing week in Mexico

Amazing house in the perfect location!

We loved our stay at Casa Norte! The house was more than we could’ve hoped for. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. The pool area and terrace are an awesome place to hang out! And the house is super close to Sayulita’s downtown restaurants and shops, as well as to the beach! We can’t wait to stay at Casa Norte again!

Great house with great location

We were a party of 8 adults. Plenty of room for all. Communication with property manager was excellent. We did not find it necessary to rent a golf cart, as everything is quite close. We look forward to our next trip to Sayulita!!

This property is wonderful. This is our 4th trip to Sayulita and now know for a quiet stay North side is best. We chose this location because our 2 yr old grandson was with us. This property is 1 level, has a nice yard and open space for him to play. Walking to the beach was easy - 2 blocks away and many locations for coffee and eating out.

They saved our vacation

We lucked into this rental as we discovered our original property was having construction right behind it, leading to a less than tranquil setting. But the vacation gods smiled upon us as this was available to rent. I very much loved the location—close to both beach and town but situated in such a way that it was private and tranquil. Perfect for my family. We loved it

Amazing getaway for multiple family vacation in paradise!

We had such a great time during our stay at Casa Norte. We had three little children and they loved the pool. Access to the beach is super easy and the house had everything we needed including a cooler and umbrella. The house was very clean and also had everything we needed for making meals and doing laundry. When we needed anything, the staff were quickly able to attend to our needs and everyone is very friendly. It is close enough to town that everything is walking distance, though the owner Frank was very helpful with recommendations for rentals including golf carts and baby gear. We would definitely return to Casa Norte and highly recommend it!

Great villa in fantastic location!

My family just returned from a week at this villa and our experience was great! The home is just as beautiful (if not more so!) than it appeared in the photos. The decoration was lovely, beds were comfortable, and location was fantastic! One thing that's worth noting is that there's no communal hangout area inside - the living/dining room are outdoors (and covered). I actually loved the layout and spending time outside with the exception of dusk when the mosquitoes would come find us out there - bring some bug repellent with you! Fortunately we found they only stick around for less than an hour or so, and evenings spent outside playing games and drinking margaritas definitely made up for this slight inconvenience. I would definitely recommend this home and hope to have the opportunity to come back for a stay again soon!

smaller than expected, noisy at night and outdoor furniture in need of repair/cleaning

Loved the pool and out door common area, but the furniture was uncomfortable, chairs were dirty and broken. The music at night was loud and the roosters next door woke you at 4'ish every morning. No water pressure in the showers, bath towels were thin and small. Bedding was also thin. Interruptions every other day by house keeper, gardener and delivery person.

Sorry to hear about your stay Deb. I will check in with the staff to make sure that the hard water is cleaned out of each shower head and take a look at the outdoor furniture. Most of the guests actually have liked the natural bamboo bath towels, bedding, the regular cleaning and garden maintenance. In addition, the sounds of the city is what most visitors love in Sayulita. I might recommend you next stay in Puerto Vallarta for your next Mexico stay. The all inclusive experience is likely a little more to your liking. Saludos, Frank

What vacation is all about - RELAXING!

7 friends met for 8 nights at Casa Norte to enjoy a 40th birthday celebration. Everything was fantastic! Great location, lovely pool, outstanding outdoor space to hang out and play games in the shade. Cold A/C and a great, functional kitchen. A five minute walk into town to grab a grocery item or go to dinner. 3 minutes to the end of the street to the beach. Don't miss Tropical House restaurant about 100 steps away for a fantastic breakfast/lunch complete with the best bloody marys and smoothies! The house is quiet at night as it is on the north side and a just enough blocks off of the plaza. Maid service every other day was appreciated and kept everything tidy. The video is great but the pictures do not do justice to what you will find behind the gate of Casa Norte. We had a birthday dinner cooked by Bocadito Catering on recommendation of the Casa Norte's owner. It was awesome! We also went with the recommendation for transportation that was super convenient and they even took us to Costco from the airport prior to making our way into Sayulita. If you want to truly RELAX - This is the rental for you! I would definitely recommend to others and look forward to rebooking in the future!

Stunning perfection!

Absolutely everything about our stay at Casa Norte was flawless. From the initial booking process with Frank months prior to our stay, to the end of our trip, and every moment in between, we were beyond pleased. Frank was incredibly helpful and accommodating and we could not have asked for a better host. The home itself is not lacking in any imaginable way. It was clean, orderly, and filled with quality accommodations. Our group of 8 stayed very comfortably and never felt as if space was limited. Housekeeping came every couple of days to straighten up and keep our living quarters feeling fresh. The pool is outstanding, too! Our group spent much of our time on the covered patio area where we had room to relax or interact, depending on our mood. The proximity to the beach is also unbeatable. A hop, skip, and a jump, and you're standing on the sandy beach of the Pacific, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the hotels, but close enough to be part of the action, if desired. Pharmacies and convenient stores are abundant and a very short walk from Casa Norte as well. Overall this home and its owers are beyond fantastic and impressive. I would recommend Casa Norte to any travelers who want to stray slightly from the beaten path but would also like a glimpse if the mood strikes. We cannot wait to return! Relaxing two weeks at Casa Norte!

We had a great time in Sayulita and our stay at Casa Norte was just what we were hoping for! The house was spacious and clean, the kitchen was stocked with all amenities needed for cooking and we were a short walk into town. A few things to note: 1. The houses "living area" is all outside under the palapa. This is normally exactly what we love since the weather is beautiful, but this time the mosquitos really gave us a bad time. You'll need lots of bug spray. 2. We prefer to cook most of our meals while traveling. The BBQ at the house could really use some replacement parts as it's pretty difficult to light without singeing all your arm hair and the cooking grates are really old. We worked around these issues, but they are worth noting for the next renter. The kitchen pots/pans are fantastic though! Kitchen could use another spatula, there is only one. 3. You will be doing daily cleaning of the pool on your own. This was a first for us, as our last stay in Sayulita the house manager came to clean the pool each morning. The pool guy showed every few days, but literally just threw pool chemicals in, flipped a switch and left. 4. The property manager, Gabbi, was very welcoming when we arrived. He gave us a great tour of the home and helped get us settled. After that, he was a bit difficult to reach during our stay. Multiple texts/emails that weren't answered. But then Nick stopped by and it was great to meet him too and he was able to answer all of our remaining questions and was super helpful. I know all renters are different, but we really would have appreciated a "drop in" to check up on things maybe mid-week. Overall, it was a great stay at a very comfortable home. Lovely house perfect for a large group

We were two families - 4 adults, 4 kids - staying in Sayulita for the first time. We were so happy when we arrived at Casa Norte. The local property manager, Patty, met us and she was so nice and welcoming. She gave us a tour of the home and told us everything we needed to know for our stay. The property is beautiful. Very well maintained, clean, fairly well stocked, and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom has its own A/C unit plus a fan which was great. What made the house so unique is that all the living areas are outdoors. The dining room, living room, and family room were all under the giant palapa outside. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and be comfortable. There is no TV at Casa Norte which was actually really nice for us. The pool is really warm so the kids were in it all the time. Emma, the housekeeper, came every other day so the house was frequently cleaned. Since you cannot drink the water, bottled water is provided in the house which was a nice touch, although we did also buy a couple flats of water beforehand. Patty told us that the washing machine was not working but they made other arrangements for us so that was not an issue. Sayulita is a very small town so everything was within walking distance. Casa Norte is on the north side of town so we needed to walk to the south side if we wanted to swim in the ocean as the rip and ocean break on the north side is VERY strong...I definitely would not want my kids close to the water there. A comment about the North beach... i have NEVER seen so many beach vendors in my life! We have been to Mexico many times so we are familiar with the locals selling all their wares on the beach, but this was really something. You just get really used to either ignoring them or saying no about 5 times per minute. That said, there was one vendor selling banana bread that his mother had made and it was dynamite! Lol. We rented golf carts one day from the rental shop on the same street as Casa Norte. That was a blast and a great way to get around. We drove them over to Playa de Los Muertos, a small beach just outside of Sayulita. I think we paid about $30US each to keep them for the day. Super fun and convenient. Overall a GREAT stay at Casa Norte.

Perfect Location and Atmosphere

Casa Norte is even better than the pictures! Our family of four, including two very active boys (9 & 11) were very happy with our choice in places to stay. The pool was bigger than it looked in the pictures, the kitchen has everything we needed, and the rooms were very comfortable. The distance into the main part of town is a short 5 minute walk, and the beach was right across the street. The house is on the north side of the beach which is the best part. Much more peaceful and less crowded. This was important to us because although it was not high season the central part of the beach was very overcrowded and not exactly relaxing. Location was just perfect. Frank was very helpful in setting us up with a ride from the airport, a golf cart, and a catamaran adventure on Ally Cat adventures which I highly recommend. Overall, we were very happy with our stay (if you can handle the humidity in August). The pool was a lifesaver at the end of a long hot day!! The air conditioning was too. ;). Thank you to Frank, Nick, and the rest of the staff!

Best week ever

We stayed at Carsa Norte for a week for my daughters wedding. We had 8 guests, and the accommodations were very comfortable. The staff was meticulous, and thorough. Anytime we had a question or concern, Nick was just a phone call away. The location is excellent; within walking distances to everything. The place is so beautiful and comfortable that many of the wedding guests chose to gather around the pool. I would highly recommend staying here while visiting Sayulita. It truly is a home away from home!

Beautiful house, amazing customer service, great location, kid friendly!

We just came back from our 5 day stay at Casa Norte and had a wonderful experience. We had stayed there 4 years prior so it was a lovely return visit. It now has a new owner and new local management team who are incredibly responsive and accommodating and there have been small updates to the property that made it even nicer. We traveled with our 2 year old daughter and having everything on one level without having to worry about stairs and railings made it one of the few houses we looked at in Sayulita that was more kid friendly. The location can't be better either. When we arrived there were a couple issues with the hot water, the washing machine, and the freezer not working but we called the local management company and they had the issues resolved that same day and were the nicest. They also provided us with help in arranging a car service for a day trip to San Pancho. We had a great experience and would highly recommend.

My friends and I rented this house for a wedding we attended in Sayulita. Frank and Dani were very responsive and easy to communicate with and check in was seamless. The house was very comfortable for our group and we really enjoyed the pool and outside living area. Highly recommend this house, we hope to stay there again someday!

Quiet, relaxing, spacious and great for entertaining

We came to Sayulita for my husband’s 50th Birthday. 8 people stayed comfortably in the house. The pool area and palapa were great for morning coffee and hosting the birthday dinner for 22 people. Frank put us in touch with Nuri, who prepared a breakfast and dinner for us. The food was top notch, fresh and delicious. The Casa is a close walk to the beach and town, we did not rent a golf cart but it comes in handy for grocery/ice runs. We had a small maintenance problem with a leaking toilet, but Patti and Nic were quick to respond to us and resolved the problem within 1-2 hours. The only complaint I have, and really I think it was a miscommunication, is not knowing it was extra to go to Costco or Mega after getting in. It wasn’t a big deal, but I had made sure my party had the correct USD to pay for transportation, so it was a surprise to find out it was more. My complaint has nothing to do with Frank or Casa Norte and its crew. They are fabulous!!!! My husband, myself and our friends who stayed with us fell in love with Casa Norte and have begun to plan our next trip down!!!

Very Nice, but Be Advised!!!

The Upside: The property is really quite nice. It is a secure compound, located conveniently just north of town, easy walking distance. Several very good restaurants right at and around the corner. An uncrowded part of the beach north of the main (and busy) town beach is just a couple blocks from the house. The main house has 3 large bedrooms, two bathrooms, one is en suite. Each bedroom has an individual air conditioner with remote control, which we appreciated, even in December. Well equipped kitchen but we ate all our meals out. Sayulita is no longer the sleepy little village it was years ago. It is a wonderful beehive of activity but retains its charm and lacks the high rise hotels of typical beach resorts. The cuisine has become wonderfully diverse and is still inexpensive. The separate casita, above the storage “garage” is a very nice space. Great pool and landscaped grounds, hammock, outside dining and lounge area under the huge palapa is perfect for your vacation getaway. The Downside: IMPORTANT! Do stay here - it’s a fine property but PLAN YOUR DATES accordingly! The Day of the Virgin of Guadalupe (Día de la Virgin de Guadalupe) is a popular Catholic feast that occurs throughout Mexico during the first 12 days of December, It is a loud celebration with constant concussive blasts from cherry bomb/M80 firecrackers early in the morning and in the evening. It particularly builds in boisterousness from 12/9 to its culmination on 12/12. Blaring music from loudspeakers from a nearby church played ALL NIGHT UNTIL 4:30 AM on the final night, followed by more firecrackers. In addition, there was construction at the property immediately adjacent, and there were power tools going from 7::30 am until 7 or 8 pm. Our stay was during 12/3 - 12/12. We were not aware of the occurrence of the celebration or the construction and wondered why the owners failed to alert us about it. We would certainly have scheduled our stay before or after those dates, as I strongly recommend to any potential renters. It sullied an otherwise wonderful vacation. Dennis offered a reduced rate and a couple comped nights during our NEXT stay but we believed a refund for a couple nights of THIS stay would have been far more appropriate, especially in light of his perhaps unintentional, yet hugely consequential failure to warn us. We will certainly return to Sayulita or perhaps San Pancho (San Francisco’s), a smaller, less busy village just 3 miles up the coast.
