Perfect house for our family vacation including 6 adults, a toddler and a newborn! Everyone had their own space but common areas were great! And the pool area upstairs was beautiful. Our adult kids said the outdoor shower was the best they had used!!!Location is terrific - close to the beach, Chatham and Wellfleet!Look forward to coming back!!!

Our stay north Wood Road was excellent allowing family eight adult three kids to have plenty of space and extremely pleased with the quiet setting and everyone loved the outdoor shower! I don’t think we use da the indoor showers all week! The house was stockedwith everything we needed and more, including children’s games and a wonderful game room, which we barely used because the weather was excellent. kitchen was larg enough to prepare meals for large family dinners! The air conditioners in each room were very effective as it was hot and humid every day

This beautiful home was wonderfully furnished for a family vacation. So many living spaces for the different ages of our group. Very clean, well cared for, with all the amenities you want for a happy Cape trip!

Perfect area and time with friends! The outdoor shower is absolute heaven! The house is extremely kid friendly with the best yard to blow bubbles and catch fireflies in. The property owner was extremely nice and answered our questions.

Great Cape Vacation

Great house for family vacation week. Lots of room to spread out. Huge deck and beautiful yard for kids to play. Loved the extra large tables for dining inside and on deck.

Large, spacious house with room for everyone to spread out. Great outdoor shower! King Bed upstairs is actually two twins pushed together, and mattress is very firm.

Had a wonderful time here!

This was our first stay at this house and we loved it! The house was big and spacious. We mostly went to Orleans beaches but enjoyed a few visits to attractions in Chatham. Great location and we will come back again!

Great house lovely garden. Good amenities.

We had good week with mediocre weather but a great confortabel house with toys a d good kitchen with all possible kitchen machines.

Family vacation

This was our long awaited getaway with our adult children and two beautiful grandchildren. Home is layed out perfectly for our larger group. Close proximity to both bay and ocean beaches as well as shopping and restaurants. Yard is perfect for bocci and corn hole. We can’t wait to return 😊

Summer vacation

Had a great time with my family and one other. Plenty of living space. Bedrooms are spacious. House is close to almost everything. We would definitely consider renting again

Excellent Cape Location

Our extended family found this location to be the perfect spot for a week together. The kitchen was especially well-equipped to prepare the family meals we enjoyed, even including colorful dinnerware for the grandchildren. The home is spacious with plenty of room for play and quiet time, as well as a large deck to enjoy. The location provides easy access to both bay and ocean beaches.

Amazing week in the Cape!

We spent a week in Orleans and this house was wonderful! It accommodated extended family perfectly. My son is 18 months and he had a blast playing on the porch and in the outdoor shower. The property is beautiful decorated and well equipped. We spend a lot of time in Dennis, so the location is a bit further than our usual spot but worked out fine. We will definitely stay again!

Great Family Rental

This house was great for a family with all ages. The young parents and their 2 children were able to be upstairs. Old folks on the first floor and two 30 something with their own rooms in the basement. Everyone was able to spread out. Great TV room and large deck!

Family trip

This was a perfect stay for our extended family looking to enjoy summer on cape cod. The three living spaces made it easy for everyone to relax and spread out, and the large dining table was ideal for us to have dinner all together at night. This is an ideal location for visiting Chatham, the beautiful beaches of Orleans, and exploring other parts of the Cape. The only minor complaints relate to excessive spiders and dust, especially in the basement. Otherwise, we loved our stay!

Vacation in Orleans, July 2024

The house was excellent. The a/c was well up to the task during the hot, humid week. Didn't lack for anything in the house. The rooms and layout are spacious and attractive. One small recommendation: put an A/C unit in the 2nd floor room that has the pool table. Overall, everyone was very pleased with the house and its amenities.

We loved everything about this property! The large family room and rec room above the garage are huge. Our entire family spent a lot of quality time together there. Then we all had our own spaces when we needed some quiet. The elevated deck and back yard are beautiful. It’s also very close to everything we wanted to do on the cape. I needed to ask a few questions of the manager and he was very responsive. We very highly recommend this property.

July 2017

We arrived to a beautiful and spotless home. The size and layout was perfect for our size family. The great room was such a plus especially in the early morning hours before the beach for our little ones and perfect in the later evening for all the adults. The deck was large. The yard was great for frisbee and for the kids to play and run around. The location was also a real plus. Beaches close by. Skaket was our favorite! See you next year👍

Perfect home away from home in Orleans

This property was so lovely. Clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished and with so many amenities. The outdoor shower is amazing. The location was perfect for us. Nauset Beach, Skaket Beach, and Crystal Lake were an easy drive. So nice to have so many options for outdoor fun. We enjoyed grilling and eating outdoors on the large deck, from which we also could watch our kids play while we had a nice cold drink. :) My personal favorite spot was the hammock, where I escaped many times to read my book under the shady trees. Beds were comfy, kitchen was very well stocked, and there was more than plenty of space for everyone. We hope to return for a longer stay in the future!

Beautiful spacious home

The house is great for a family or large group. Very large family room. We’ll equipped r kitchen. Very large deck which can be secured for young children. Beach equipment provided. Close to beaches, stores and restaurants. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is because the dining area and kitchen as well as basement bedrooms are not air conditioned. This is probably not a problem most weeks but we had a week of very hot and humid weather. Overall a really great spot, we had a wonderful family gathering and would definitely recommend this house.

Spacious

This place was very spacious for our party of 11. We enjoyed the various living spaces and the wonderfully stocked kitchen. We loved having the deck to sit out on at night and in the morning for to sip our coffee. Having 3 bathrooms is a bonus. You never had to wait for a shower or for someone to get out. The bedrooms were spacious. We do wish some of the beds were more comfortable but it did not ruin our stay! We also wished there were sheets and towels included as well. But again it was not a big deal as there was a washer and dryer. We had a great time here and it was a very quiet neighborhood!

The house was a great size and for the most part clean. The only 2 issues we had, which did impact our trip was the air conditioning units in the bedrooms were very dirty. The filters were clean, but when you look inside the units...they were quite dirty(filled with dust and grime)..to the point where we did not use them. This made sleeping quite uncomfortable. The AC units in the main areas looked newer and were just fine. But the downstairs bedroom and the master bedroom in particular were a real problem. I also feel like the kitchen can use a deep cleaning. Many of the serving bowls and such has crumbs in them. All in all we enjoyed our stay....but those would be my recommendations.

Just OK

The location of this home is pretty perfect, being situated between Orleans and Chatham. Communication with the property manager went very well. That said, I can’t give this property anything more than three stars. The home was old, and smelled musty like grandmas. The amount of spiders we had to kill on a daily basis in the home was absurd…to the tune of roughly 10 per day..on the walls, the floors, the beds, the sinks, everywhere. It badly needs regular extermination. There were also large cobwebs on the ceilings… which made us wonder who the heck was cleaning the place. We paid too much to have to deal with it all week. Other than the musty smell and the critters, we did have a great week in the home. As I mentioned, the location is absolutely perfect. The neighborhood was quiet, and the neighbors were friendly. The home also had all of the amenities we needed.
