EAT, PLAY, SHOP at this chic Coligny/North Forest Beach Townhome that has all the modern conveniences of home. Newly remodeled and beautifully decorated, this 3BR, 2.5 bath tri-level vacation rental is a short 5 minute walk to the beach, groceries, theater, mini golf and over 60 shops and restaurants.

The roomy 1500 sq. ft. unit sleeps up to 7 and features an open living area, dining and kitchen on the first floor with a walk-out patio that leads to the pool that is steps away in the enclosed courtyard. The private patio has a Weber grill and dining table. The modern kitchen has granite counters and is fully stocked with new stainless appliances including a side by side refrigerator and smooth cook top range. Convenient adjacent laundry room has a full sized washer/dryer. Large family dining area seats eight. Living room has a Queen sleeper sofa and features a new 50 inch HD TV with PlayStation 3 gaming system, Blu-Ray player and streaming movies and videos.

Second floor features a stylish King Bedroom with 46 inch HDTV (with cable, streaming videos and Blu-Ray player) and balcony overlooking the pool; a spacious Twin Bedroom with extra twin sized rollaway bed and 40 inch HDTV (with Blu-Ray player and streaming videos); and, gorgeous twin vanity bathroom with granite countertop, tub and shower. Third floor has a stylish Queen Suite with 46 inch HDTV (with cable, streaming videos and Blu-Ray player), balcony overlooking the pool and private bathroom with tub and shower.

Amenities include high speed wireless internet, ample closet space, beach chairs with rolling cart.

Stroll over to the beautifully landscaped Coligny Beach Park with its synchronized fountain; gazebo with rows of rockers, Adirondack chairs and old fashioned porch swings; charming changing cabanas, bathroom and shower facilities; and convenient hardwood boardwalk that leads to miles of hard packed sandy beaches. Nearby bike and leisure paths allow you to explore the island and world class golf and tennis is just minutes away. Experience wild life refuges, dolphin cruises, horseback riding, fishing, kayaking, boating, water sports, miniature golf during your visit.

Unit was not clean, and no cleaning supplies were left to use. Could not adjust A.C. adequately to keep the third floor cool. Notified the owner who was not receptive, promised a fan but never delivered. Unit was damp with a musty smell and mold is developing on kitchen ceiling, 2nd floor bath, and 3rd floor closet. Kitchen cabinets are in disrepair. With a two week stay the host should have provided new linens for the second week. The vacuum cleaned had go be disassembled prior to use to empty out the dirt/odor. Had to purchase bottled water because the refrigerator filter had not been changed. One beach chair is broken leaving only 3 for 6 people and no unbrella was located as listed. House was left better than we found it. The location of this unit is close to stores, beach and parks and is why it was chosen for our family vacation.

First Time HHI Stay

This was a really nice townhouse to stay in. The owner did a good job to make it an enjoyable experience there. There were some minor wear-and-tear on the place, but that's to be expected on a heavily-rented home. This location was perfect for us. As first-time HHI visitors, it was about a block from the Coligny Shopping/Beach area, which had a local grocery store, restaurants, ice cream shops, and souvenir items. The home was also located a couple of blocks from the beach. This beach area was a bit crowded, but to be expected at this popular area. The cleaning crew did a great job before we moved in. There were a few areas that need a deep-cleaning, but it was not noticeable unless you looked for it. It was really hot and humid when we first got there, but that was quickly fixed (about 2 hours) by setting the thermostat to a lower temperature. There were beach items to use in the utility area, but we did not need them. However, it was nice to have the option if we wanted to. The owners left some starter supplies, which was very thoughtful and helpful. It was also nice that previous renters left some items for the next renter (some paper towels, detergents, hand soaps, etc.); nice to pay-it-forward. Overall, this was a great place to stay if you wanted to be close to the action. If we go to HHI again and wanted to be close to the excitement then we would definitely rent this place again. Thanks for letting us rent your place!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very well equipped. The location is perfect because it's quiet and at the same time close to everything: beach, grocery store, restaurants, bike rental.... The owner gives excellent service. He came the same day when we needed him. We'd love to come back. Al & Clo

Location GREAT! Unit OK

We stayed here for a month. The host and location can’t be beat! We walked or rode our bikes everywhere. We lacked nothing with regard to location. The beach is less than 1000 steps. The unit is old and dark. The carpet is stained, as is the living room rug. There is only one slider on the main floor for any daylight. And the living room furnishings are very worn out and uncomfortable. We brought in the outdoor chairs to sit on. There were no outdoor chairs on the balconies as shown in the listing pictures. That would’ve been nice as the most natural light was on the balconies. The kitchen is TINY. Our groceries were all over the counter because there are no cabinets or pantry for food. The refrigerator doesn’t open all the way so the bottom 2 drawers couldn’t be opened/accessed for cold storage. We wished we had been informed that for 2 weeks of our trip we were going to be hearing nail guns and power saws M-F from 8am - 6pm for the complex to be re-roofed. The back courtyard is a haven. We enjoyed meeting other owners and guests out back. We got many suggestions from them all as to where to eat and shop during our stay. Beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were good size. Plenty of storage. The 2nd floor bathroom is very nice. Overall the host and location are 5+ stars and the unit is 3 stars - for an average of 4 stars. We would recommend, but understand it still needs more updating.

This place is in a great location for all things you need. Quick walk straight to the beach and all the fun things In coligny. Awesome place and we will be staying here next year and for many years to come.

Excellent location

Close to shopping, the beach, great restaurants, and grocery store. We have stayed in this unit previously, and really enjoyed it. We all noticed that this year the unit wasn't as clean as in the past. Nothing major, but I think it could use a bit of a refresh. The living room furniture is not comfortable or plentiful ( just one couch, a straight back chair, and a leather club chair that was ripped up). Also, the area rug and the carpets going upstairs weren't very clean. It is so nice to have beach towels,chairs, and a wagon to take to the beach. The chairs are pretty rusted out though.Of course this is to be expected since the outdoor area is not covered and gets the weather. Hopefully, a few updates will help make this unit a 5 star instead of a 4 star next year.

Fabulous location and great place

We stayed at the villa for 5 consecutive weeks and enjoyed the island and wheather. + Location, nearby restaurants, shops and beach, friendly host, quiet, pool well kept, TV with good choice of TV channels including tennis channel, comfortable beds - Some new furnishings more than needed: living room sofa is old and very uncomfortable and armchair is worn and threadbare; Carpet in stairs and 2 upper floors is worn and stained. Overall, a pleasant and confortable stay - With time, we have come to terms with the state of the carpet and furniture. A good value for the price.

RBC Heritage Golf Tournament Week

Perfect location; near to the beach, grocery and restaurants. The shuttle for the RBC Heritage Golf tournament was in walking distance at Coligny Plaza. Also, short drive to the entrance at Sea Pines.

Great rental in a perfect location

This rental was perfect for our group of 4 adults. It is extra clean and decorated very nicely. The furniture and beds are so comfy and the bathrooms are so roomy. We had cool & rainy weather, so we spent a lot of time here and we were impressed. The location vs price for Hilton Head is especially a great deal. Shopping, grocery, restaurants, and the beach are all within an easy walking distance. Would highly recommend.

Outdated pictures and poorly cleaned

Location was perfect, outside area was great with patio, grill and pool but inside was completely different. Carpet in all of unit stained and we didn’t feel comfortable walking on it, Third Level bathroom not cleaned at all other people’s garbage and hair everywhere. Twin bedroom dirty paper towel left on floor and room has plaster on walls, looked very dirty overall, kitchen appliances were gross looked like haven’t been given a good clean. Owner did well with communication but at times made us feel it was us and he tried his best! He did bring a new microwave which was nice but it was 3 days before we were leaving. Unit temps kept raising to 85 degree so 3rd floor was very hot.

Great location

Jay was excellent to work with. He responded quickly, and check in was a breeze. This is a great location. Within walking distance to Colignay shops and restaurants. 10 minute walk to the beach and the cart that Is provided to pack with the beach chairs ( also provided) a plus. Private patio overlooking the very nice pool was great for morning coffee and evening wine. Looking forward to booking again with Jay😎

Great house close to the beach!

Great location, easy access to the stores, restaurants and the beach! Quiet and cozy! This is a great townhouse for a family of 5-6. The kitchen was well appointed and beds were comfortable. We will come back!

Another Great Winter

This is my second winter staying in Coligny Villas #30. I just completed a second five month stay in this lovely condo. The location to the beach, stores, entertainment, groceries, etc. is simply amazing. The location in the condos gives you a lovely view of the pool and garden areas. The owner, Jay Owen, is wonderful to work with. The condo is spacious and nicely done. I highly recommend renting this condo. The area is extremely safe and the neighbors are pleasant.

Fabulous property in wonderful location

We had a gals getaway and it was just fabulous -- a block and a half walk from the beach, by lots of great shopping and right off the bike paths. Perfect for a weekend away -- property was big enough for the 4 of us to have privacy and also to share time on patio and in dining area. Chairs were provided to take to the beach, along with a beach umbrella -- was just wonderful!

Great Location and Space

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 children and the space was great for our needs. It is in a terrific location as advertised and it was easy to walk or bike to several places including the beach. There were some cleaning issues when we first arrived but the owners were quick to respond, easy to talk to and accommodating. I believe they got the issues sorted out. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

What a fantastic location!!

We've been to Hilton Head almost every year for a decade and this place is one of the better locations we have stayed. Excellent amenities and walking distance to everything. Great communication from the owners as well. Highly recommend!
