Villa Zinnia - A luxurious 3 bed 3 bath villa with pool in superb location

Villa Zinnia is a beautiful three bedroom villa with its own pool and, close to the olive groves of Kalkan with views of the Taurus mountains. The villa is in a superb location 1 minute from a supermarket and several restaurants and bars. With only a 15 minute, mainly level walk into the centre of town, unlike most villas in Kalkan, it is an easy walk back without a taxi needed at the end of your night out (although there are plenty about!). Luxurious and well equipped with a modern,contemporary kitchen with dishwasher, the villa will sleep up to 8 in its large, spacious bedrooms. On the top floor is a superb ensuite master bedroom, and a further double and twin room on the first floor along with a family bathroom with bath. The living area is very comfortable and light with satellite TV and DVD. Patio doors lead onto the covered terrace, perfect for al fresco dining and the pool area. Wireless internet, Smart TV with Netflix, Xbox Series S (latest generation) with Gamepass access to hundreds of games and Playstation 3 with games. Extensive library of DVDs, both children and adult.


Other details: An English agent will be on hand to help in any way throughout your stay. Transfers from Dalaman are easliy arranged when you book and can either be a taxi or minibus.

All linen is supplied by the villa apart from beach towels and the maid does a thorough once a week clean and linen change.The pool is cleaned daily and the gardens also are watered daily. The washing machine, iron and ironing board are installed on the top floor and there is a drying rack for any washing.

Facilities: Located only 1 minute walk from the villa is a small supermarket and several lovely restaurants. The weekly market and bus station are both a 10 minute walk away.

For toddlers we have a cot, highchair, potty and bathroom stool.

Lovely Stay

The villa is well equipped in a great location with quite a number of restaurants and bars within just 5 minutes walk, even before you think about going into the main town! The pool was nice and well maintained and the managers and owner helpful and responsive. Thank you Anna for our lovely stay!

Great location

The villa is in a great location for walking into Kalkan with just one hill. Villa facilities are great, the pool was a good size. There has been some modernisation of the rooms and bathrooms and these are really good. Top floor was a little older but very comfortable. A great stay.

Brilliant holiday!

We stayed for two weeks in September as a party of six (regulars to Kalkan) and the villa was perfect for what we needed! Plenty of space and the pool area was brilliant - nice and private and the pool always stayed cold! Easy 10 minute walk into/from town and close to all the amenities we could need - we would stay here again!

Lovely traditional Turkish Villa slightly dated but very well equipped for a family unfortunately we can only assume, due to its location we were infested with mosquitoes and were unable to sit out in the evening without being pestered & bitten alive. Even though we invested in all sorts of remedies (including locally purchased).This is our 5th visit to kalkan and we have never experienced mosquito bites to this extent on any other occasion.

Lovely Villa

We had a fabulous holiday at this lovely Villa. Wonderful location just a few minutes walk from the centre of Kalkan. Anna went above and beyond when she allowed us to stay for an extra night after our flight was cancelled at the last minute. Highly recommend.

Lovely villa, great location

The villa is in a great location. An easy stroll into the old town. We always got a taxi back because of the heat. A small supermarket just across the road and some lovely restaurants within spitting distance. Correspondence with the owner and the management company was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay

First time visit to Turkey, cannot recommend Kalkan highly enough! Villa Zinnia was absolutely superb and location was great, short 10 min walk to centre of Kalkan, always got a taxi back as itā€™s uphill coming back (only Ā£2) Communication and check in with Anna was seamless, and she arranged our transfer to and from Dalaman airport. The villa was spotless and very well equipped, the pool was delightful which was cleaned every day by Sedat. Will definitely be coming back!!šŸ˜Š

Villa Zinnia is just perfect!

The villa is very well situated. It has some quiet bars, restaurants and a supermarket very close by. A fabulous scenic walk down into the old town. The villa itself is very spacious the fab views over the olive grove to the bay. A very secluded quiet spot, with all you need in arms reach. Three bathrooms were perfect for five adults sharing and plenty of loungers for sunbathing. The pool was perfect size. Watch out for the tortoises, they love some cucumber and tomato! We can't wait to go back!

Perfect from start to finish

My husband , myself and our 10yr old son have just got back from a 10 day break in Kalkan and Villa Zinnia and I have to say from start to finish the whole process was seamless. Anna was very communicative and helpful . The Villa is a perfect location for us as not far to walk into the centre of Kalkan and then get a taxi home for 110 Lira the Can Can shop over the road from the Villa is perfect and stocks all the essentials you will need. The villa is secluded and again has everything you will need and from the top balcony you get some lovely views of Kalkan in the evening ā€¦ Iā€™m pretty sure we will be back. Oh and the owner of Porcini (the restaurant next door) is such a lovely guy and makes you feel very welcome šŸ˜€

Just back from a fantastic 2 weeks in kalkan. This was our 5th holiday there and was as good as ever. Villa zinnia completely met our needs. It was in a great location which meant a car was not necessary, it was an easy ten min walk into town, even our 2 teenagers didn't complain. The villa was very well equipped and nicely presented and the owners were very easy to deal with. Despite warnings to be careful my heavy handed husband managed to break the door on the washing machine but it was fixed within a few hours, great service from the kalkan agents. While we were there we enjoyed kalamar beach club and had 2 great days on the Zeus boat. There is a wide range of restaurants, we particularly enjoyed kalamaki, the nar, Gironde and Doy Doy. Looking forward to next year.

Great spacious quiet villa

We found the villa to be nicely secluded, really clean, well located and in a quiet area. It had plenty of space and is well equipped. It was our first self catering holiday so didnā€™t know what to expect but it was fantastic. The welcome pack was much more substantial than we expected, especially arriving in the early hours of the morning so thanks for that. The managers (Sedat and Elenor) were both very helpful. The pool people called in twice a day to keep the pool clean, which it always was. The location of the villa is great as there are lots of nearby restaurants and bars but it is still quiet. The walk down to the old town is not too far either. I would definitely recommend this villa and hope to visit again.

Comfortable villa, lovely private pool

Spacious villa with own pool which was cleaned daily. Plenty of sunbeds, outdoor dining table and comfortable chairs, ideal for evening drinks and bbqā€™s. Short walk down hill (about 10 mins) to the centre of Kalkan and plenty of reasonably priced taxis to save walking back up the hill at the end of the evening. Lots of choices of restaurants to suit all budgets. We ate out quite a lot and didnā€™t have one bad meal. Kitchen in the villa well equipped for dining in and villa is a two minute walk to small supermarket, with bigger supermarkets such as Migros just down the road that had a wider range of food and drink. Kalamar Beach club is a 15 min walk downhill and they provide a free shuttle service. Excursions to nearby Patara beach, Saklikant Gorge, boat trips easily bookable from offices in centre of Kalkan. We have been to Kalkan several times over the last ten years and itā€™s always so relaxed and welcoming.

Fab Villa, Fab Holiday!

Villa Zinnia is exactly what we wanted for our holiday and we were not disappointed. The villa is lovely, spacious and clean. Pool maintained every day. Handy mosquito blinds. The master bedroom is a great room with lots of windows and view. Pool and garden area is amazing, private, plenty sunbeds and seating areas to enjoy. The ottoman at the end of the garden is beautiful and a peaceful place to relax in the shade late afternoon - my favourite past-time when there. We thought the location was excellent, handy small supermarket opposite, 5 mins walk from some good restaurants and 10 mins gently downhill walk to town centre. Our first visit to Kalkan and we loved it! Lots of good places to eat for a small town and lots of things to see in the area. We used the villa's recommended Enes Car Hire and Travel centre to book an excellent boat trip - loads of swimming stops, the sunken city and a really good lunch on board. Well worth the Ā£25. Anna sent us an email info on trips and sightseeing and some good restaurants. This was very helpful. We both definately recommend Villa Zinnia and hope to return next year.

Well managed home away from home

The property is well cared for with thoughtful details to make the stay easy and pleasant. The home is equipped with more things than most (from games, to grill, to kitchen equipment). The neighborhood is convenient to groceries and restaurants.

The Villa itself is great. Very clean and the pool is attended to daily. The local agent was very helpful when we needed to have a boarding pass printed out and even hand delivered it the same day. The only observation we would make is that the Villa is accessed by walking through Porcini's Restaurant which wasn't mentioned in any of the reviews which we found a bit odd. Nevertheless, the staff were fine with this and it was great to be able to stagger back from a late drink. We would highly recommend this Villa .

A lycian delight

We were very happy with this excellent villa and services - the villa, pool and gardens are very clean and comfortable - the owners have been very helpful and provided all the information and transfers etc we requested - we could not ask for any more; Deniz and his family at Porcini's, the supermarket and the cocktail bar which all neighbour the villa are all wonderful company and very friendly - we all felt very at home and well cared for by them. Kalkan itself is a special place that we hope to return to - the roof bars and restaurants are lovely - particularly Sade - the harbour and surrounding beach bars and shops are all excellent and varied - everyone we met were either having a wonderful fun holiday or were a friendly smiling local - Kalkan is a real delight.

Perfect Holiday

The villa is ideally situated. It is a gentle 15/20 minute stroll into the harbour and village and about the same distance downhill the other way to Kalamar Beach Club (they will give you a free lift back). The villa itself is spotless with a beautiful cared for totally secluded garden and deep pool, located behind Porcinis restaurtant, which was a delight serving exceptionally good food. Ideal after a hard day at a beach club or relaxing around the pool and only a few steps away. Deniz, who owns the restaurant and also seems to own that small part of Kalkan together with his parents who look after the little 'supermarket' opposite, are always ready to help. A delightful three week holiday that we hope to repeat next year.

Lovely Villa in a great location

It was our first time visiting Kalkan with our two daughters age 10 & 6 years and we had such a lovely time. Villa Zinnia is in a great location with lots of lovely restaurants close by and a local shop just across the road. The villa was very clean and well equipped with everything you need. The pool area was private and the pool was a good size, we loved the fact that it was cleaned daily. We had an amazing holiday and found it very easy to settle in with the help of Anna's recommendations. We cant wait to return to Kalkan again soon!

We bought Villa Zinnia in 2010 after several holidays in Kalkan with our children. We kept trying out new places in Europe but nothing even compared to Kalkans beautiful town with its narrow, flower lined streets, ultra friendly locals and in particular its amazing, high quality and plentiful restaurants.

We fell in love with Villa Zinnia primarily for its gorgeous pool and gardens and also being in a great location being not far from town but near some lovely restaurants. The villa is beautiful inside with everything you need for entertainment, cooking and a good nights sleep.
