Downstairs bedroom has island style furniture with two Twin beds. Downstairs bath has tub/shower enclosure with new vanity and granite top. Loft has Queen bed. Living room sofa is island style Queen sleeper. New palm leaf ceiling fans and beautiful Maui art throughout! Kitchen is well equipped for ease and to satisfy those who love to cook. Lanai has elegant bistro-style dining set for enjoying the view. Lanai closet is stocked with lightweight reclining beach chairs, soft-sided coolers and sand mats. Beach towels are provided too for your enjoyment on the beautiful beach just across the street. Sleeps 6 to 8 people. New split Air Conditioning throughout the entire unit! Located on the 3rd floor with an elevator. There is a 55" Wide Screen TV in the living room, Stereo Sound Bar for TV and Bluetooth connections, 32" Wide Screen TV in the master bedroom, BlueRay/DVD Player and an Extensive DVD library!

Fit my family well. We had two couples and three children. Beach equipment in the closet was very handy and served us well. Enjoyed the stay.

Family vacation

Condo was well stocked with kitchen gear, towels, beach toys. The floors were easy to keep clean, beds and furniture were nice, and the air conditioning was excellent. We were comfortable and happy.

Great location and beautiful sunset view

We were a family of four (supposed to have been 5) and found this a very accommodating condo. It lacked a little bit of cupboard space for a big grocery order for a family for 10 days but other than that it was wonderful.

The only complaint would be that the loft fan would "sometimes" work. We called in a work order and no one showed up.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in this unit, and I can't really think of anything that I would change. The unit itself was clean and exactly as described with comfortable beds and a comfortable pull out couch. We were very impressed with and appreciative of the snorkel sets, boogie boards, umbrellas and beach chairs that were provided. The pool was great for the little kids in our family, and the BBQ grills came in handy each night.

Convenient, comfortable condo

We stayed at this condo with our 6 kids. It was great. Although there were enough beds for us all, it was definitely a tight fit, which we figured when we booked it. It is tidy and well stocked with all kitchen gadgets, cooking implements, beach toys and towels, umbrellas, chairs, coolers, boogie boards. That was very helpful and appreciated. Kam 3 beach is a short walk down the street. Gorgeous Makena Beach is 15 minutes away. Lahaina is about 30 minutes and the airport drive only 20 minutes. We loved that the climate is usually sunnier and less windy in Kihei. Thanks for all the amenities.

Family Vacay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect condo for our family. The layout was just what we needed....separate spaces made it great. Huge bonus having a washer/dyer in the condo itself!!!! With beach just a walk across the lawn, we really used the washer/dryer. Weird compliment, but the hot water heater was huge. With a group of 7 taking 2 showers at a time, we never-ever ran out of hot water. Full size appliance and lots of toys (yay a cooler too) just really helped us out. It was a savings not to have to purchase the 'fun' but one-time-use items that don't pack/fly well. Location was easy to town to walk to shop or yum-o ice-cream & shaved ice. The beaches were perfect for boards and even snorkeling. All just across the lawn. Again, condo was perfect for our family. Oh...and definitely not last but...A/C. YES!!! The A/C was must for our Texas family. We are always hot lol! Bonus, the company was easy to get a hold of when I was asking questions early on.

Ocean, City, Beach all within Reach

Our family of five stayed in this unit for 9 nights to kick off our summer. We originally had been scheduled to visit last Fall, but their staff was flexible enough to work with us to reschedule. This unit is located on the third floor, but there is an elevator if you need it. We had plenty of space for my husband, 3 kids, and myself. The kitchen was fully stocked in terms of appliances, pans, condiments. The only issue we had was with the dishwasher, it’s not bolted down well and it tips forward, then I couldn’t get it to work. I called the front office and someone came to check it out. It worked fine after that, I assume it was partially an electric issue, because they left the electrical panel open when they left. The washer and dryer worked well, and were inside of the unit. The AC unit worked well, we were able to stay comfortable during the entire visit. The location is less resort-ish, while you’re able to walk or drive to multiple beaches nearby, you’re still in walking distance to restaurants and shopping, so there’s kind of a city feeling with the ocean right across. We never had an issue with parking. Plenty of chairs and an ice chest. Overall we were pleased with the rental, I’d say that our only observation that was kind of disappointing was that the floors and walls were not properly cleaned. I think this unit needs a detailed clean, crumbs/dirt between the stove and wall, the washer machine needs a cleaning. Everything else was clean and fresh.

Wonderful Stay at Hale Kamaole

Clean condo in great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked this condo's location by Kam III since it was a little quieter than down by the other Kam beaches. It was a quick drive to almost any of the south Maui beaches. It was well stocked with more than many typical condos (spices and some cooking supplies). The pull out couch was very creaky, so if you have any light sleepers don't put them in that bed. In the deck storage room were chairs, coolers, Beach mats, etc. you need to rent your own boogie boards and the owners say they have had to replace far too many over the years.

Our First Trip to Maui

Everything was good except the kitchen was lacking some dish clothes, can opener didn’t work, microwave was very picky and had to unplug it every once in a while to make it work. While the kitchen was well stocked a lot of the pots/frying pans etc had been well used and the finishes were wearing off. A lot of the containers were missing lids etc maybe Saran or tin foil would help. This wasn’t a huge deal but would have been a huge help. I would have also have like to have some bathroom cleaning supplies as over a week is a long time not to clean and I don’t feel we should have to buy those, I don’t think anyone would steal those from the condo. With saying this We would definitely stay there again as we loved the location and the property

Family in Maui for a week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was very nice. There were 7 of us staying in the condo and we were all able to have a bed. There were plenty of towels and beach towels. We really appreciated the closet with the beach items since we were unable to bring things like that on the plane. The beds were nice. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the washing machine and dryer were a lifesaver. There were only four very minor things that would have made the rental better. One would be if the shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom actually reached the floor of the shower. We were constantly getting water on the floor. The second would have been to know where the elevator was before we arrived. We ended up carrying all our luggage up the stairs since we didn't discover it until after we had been in the condo several hours. The third is the outdoor shower on the property that should be used to wash the sand from the beach off had absolutely no water pressure, so we weren't able to wash off as much as we would have liked. There were the public ones across the street, but depending on the time of day they could be busy. The fourth thing was that we weren't allowed to hang towels over the balcony railing, which is fine, but it would have been nice to have a clothing drying rack in order to hang wet things up on. Our kids were able to use the tennis courts on property and because the complex is situation right across the street from the beach were were able to go to the beach frequently.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean, up-dated, well-appointed! This unit was exactly as described, we were very pleased. The beds and pillows were new and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked. The only downside was that the view from the lanai was obstructed. The Hale Kamaole property was perfect - 2 pools, tennis/pickle ball courts, bbq’s, covered pavilion for gatherings, across the street from Kamaole III beach and park area. We would definitely recommend and/or return again.

Great Weekend Trip to Maui

It was a last minute trip with friends and there were more than 6 of us. This place could sleep up to 8 comfortably and it was clean. It had a pool and grills available that we used. The best part is the water is only a few minutes walk from the unit making it easy to catch the sunset. Definitely will be back!
