Condo in heart of La Jolla

I spent the month of November at this condo. It's in a fantastic location and close to everything you could need - grocery, CVS, lots of restaurants. It's located on a busy corner, so there is some traffic noise, but I didn't find it to be a problem. Would definitely rent again.

Cozy, well kept condo in a great La Jolla location

We loved our stay at the condo😀. Had secured parking area (watch out how you exit, you may bottom out a bit). Very lovely patio (my husband said it was too traffic busy...I thought it was great). Very clean complex. Everything you need is nearby (across the street or within a block) from groceries/liquor/pharmacy to eateries. Walking distance to the ocean strip (5-6 blocks). The host replied to our concerns and needs within moments and was very hospitable. There were a few pantry spice items in the unit that saved us some money. Oh, and the on site laundry facilities were a great bonus (not even coin operated and they provided detergent pods :). I would give 5 stars easily however the A/C cannot be run when you are gone and during a 70 degree day the unit would heat up to over 80 degrees (it did cool down to a tolerable temp within 1 to 2 hours once the unit was running). There was not a lot of space to put suitcases because the bedroom was taken up by the large but comfortable king sized bed. The dresser was hard to use also because of the space issues with the bed. This could be solved by opening up some of the bedroom closet space and putting some luggage racks in there (with some lighting). Overall, I loved it and would stay there again. I give it a 4.5 overall rating. Thank you for everything 😀

Cozy and walkable.

Condo was immaculate. Location is walkable to restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, the beach, coffee shops, and shopping. Bus stop is very close. Staying in a secure building provided another layer of comfort. I never had to wait to do laundry in the shared laundry facility. My contact person, Samara was a joy to work with.

Awesome location! Easily able to walk all around La Jolla. Clean and comfortable. Communication with the managers was easy. Check in after hours was much appreciated and very convenient.

Location, location,...

My husband and I very much enjoyed our vacation stay in the La Jolla condo. The owner was responsive and easy to work with. The digs were clean, private, and secure. The condo was centrally located near all things wonderful in La Jolla- beach cove, shopping, restaurants, spas, a comedy club, lux movie theatre- and the perfect landing spot to venture out to enjoy local hiking, biking, and ocean kayaking. We'll look to book again in the near future!

Cute, amazing condo and safe surroundings

We had an awesome stay in the cute condo/apartment. Everything was walking distance - to the beaches, shops, restaurants and to the La Jolla Cave. The condo was clean and comfortable. We walked around town at 10:00pm and we felt safe. The best part is the condo has a parking garage structure and we did not have to look for parking. The only suggestion I would recommend is better instructions for the renter when its their last day - what to do with the linens and towels. and we felt uncomfortable leaving the trash and empty water bottles behind. We did not know where the trash cans were in the complex. Overall, we would return to the condo/apartment and recommend my friends and family to stay here. The owners were pleasant and they were available to answer questions.

Great stay and hope to return

We arrived on a Friday early evening to be met by Lindsey. She showed us where to park and around the apartment. She was so helpful in many ways during our stay. Thank you Lindsey! The unit was a bit smaller than we expected but in the end was perfect. The wifi worked great as well as the TV. and every thing we needed for our 4 day stay was there. We really enjoyed the balcony and had wine with snacks evenings and breakfast most mornings on it. Very nice. The only other heads up is there is parking in the underground parking but it is a bit tight. If you have a larger car/SUV just be prepared. My husband did a great job getting in and out of the space and garage. So all was great. Great location for walking to great cafes, coffee shops, restaurants and Vons. We would love to return and will make plans for it.

Incredible Vacation and Condo!

My husband and I stayed at the condo mid-February and had the most incredible, relaxing vacation. The condo was the perfect size for us especially because we spent most of our time exploring La Jolla which was literally in our backyard. (Location was great) The condo is well kept and has the kitchen essentials if you want to cook or enjoy a bottle of wine on the deck. The grocery store right across the parking lot was so convenient and the underground parking garage with two spots was a huge perk since parking is very limited in La Jolla. To get to the ocean down the street it is only about a 10 minute walk through the cute streets of La Jolla. The kitchen/family room is open and they had a large TV above the kitchen table for morning news. June met us to give us the keys and show us our parking spot and condo which was set up perfectly for when we arrived. Another thing we liked is that the condo building is secure and you need a key fab to gain access. Not that we ever felt unsafe but when traveling to a new place it's a comfort for us. Overall, the condo was great and we would stay there again.

The location, security and assigned parking are good.

The property is small and rather dark. The only way it could be 800 square feet is if the balcony is included. We had a problem with heat, but June of the managing firm got permission to install a much needed air conditioner. There was also work on the balcony for which we received a partial refund. If we do return to La Jolla, we will try to find a more comfortable place to stay.

Perfection!!

Great location! Walking distance to everywhere you would want to get to in La Jolla - Prospect, Cove etc. Vons across from the car park was so convenient! Stone's throw from Harry's cafe! Many great shops closeby. Convenient bus stop route 30 to Old Town and UTC if you don't want to drive. Very safe, as the lift needed security key. Great balcony. Kitchen with everything you could need. Very comfortable bed! And most importantly, Very very thoughtful owners! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Gorgeous condo and ideal location!

My boyfriend and I stayed at this condo over Memorial weekend. We absolutely LOVED it! Even though we were in one of the worlds most beautiful cities, what mattered most to me was a beautiful and comfortable condo because our goal was to sleep and relax. My expectations were exceeded! The condo was beautifully decorated, clean, bright and airy with an ocean breeze, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The bedroom had a king sized bed that was so comfortable we never wanted to leave. My boyfriend and I both loved that we could close the bedroom curtains and make the room dark so we were able to catch up on sleep! There are 2 flat screens tvs both with cable, one in the bedroom and one in the living room/kitchen area. The location was PERFECT - walking distance to shops and the coast, and across a parking lot from the grocery store, which we loved. Both nights we walked to the store and came back to cook dinner. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies we needed to cook. For breakfast we ate on the patio outside where the weather was GLORIOUS and we could see the ocean. We worked with Laura and Gabby and they were both extremely accommodating. We were unsure of our arrival time and they worked with us and gave us instructions to let ourselves in. We loved our stay here so much and can’t wait to come back! I definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in La Jolla.

La Jolla on Girard

unit is well situated in La Jolla but the owner took no interest in making it comfortable. EXTREMELY sparse wires hanging where a little planning would have hidden them. NO WHERE in bedroom to put your clothes. What bedroom does not have a dresser? No AC? Lock did not work on patio door. Owner totally went cheap with everything.

Clean and convenient but street noise an issue

The condo was clean, and the price was reasonable. The location is convenient to shops, restaurants, and attractions in La Jolla. It is sparsely and somewhat shabbily furnished, e.g. there is no place to put a suitcase; lamps were damaged; living room has a futon sofa but no chair. There is no air conditioning - not usually an issue in the spring in San Diego, but street noise from Pearl and Girard was significant, and it was necessary to keep windows open to keep the temperature comfortable. If you don't plan to spend many waking hours in the condo, it's fine. The bedroom faces an inner courtyard and is somewhat quieter. Shower head needs replacing. Kitchen was well-supplied.

Enjoyable stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again. The condo is clean and secure. It is exactly as appears in the photos. Perfect for two. The proximity to restaurants, cafés, supermarket, and ocean were just what we were looking for. From La Jolla, we easily ventured to tourist sites in San Diego as well as hiking locations in the desert, a nearby canyon and Torrey Pines park. We loved having breakfast on the patio while making our plans for the day and coming back to the patio in the evening for wine & appetizers.

Extended Weekend Stay in La Jolla

My boyfriend and I stayed at this condo from Saturday to Wednesday and it was wonderful! Perfect location - a quick walk to the beach and the walk is down Girard Ave past awesome shops, cafes, and restaurants. There is a supermarket across the parking lot so getting groceries wasn't a hassle in the slightest! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The rooftop patio was really nice to enjoy while having morning coffee and meals. I'm hopeful this condo will be available the next time I am in La Jolla!

Excellent Value - Great Location - Nice View - Accommodating Owner

I stayed here for the month of January and couldn't have been happier with the condo. It was walking distance to everything, very clean and secure, and the owner was incredibly easy to deal with. I asked for a tv in the bedroom and they provided it at no cost. Mostly though, the apartment is pretty much exactly where you want to be in La Jolla. I would strongly recommend this to anyone planning on visiting La Jolla.
