Savannah Beach and Racquet Club - Unit A223 - Swimming Pools - Tennis

Sit on your private balcony and enjoy watching dolphins (porpoise) in the river, commercial shrimp boats, cargo ships entering and leaving the Port of Savannah and Tybee Island's beautiful sunsets. These units are 1 bedroom, 1 bath condominiums, some with 1 or 2 bunk beds suitable for small children. Deluxe units include a dishwasher and all units have use of the swimming pool, tennis courts and BBQ grills as well as the coin laundry facilities on floors one and two. Wi-Fi access is available in certain units and at the swimming pool and admin office at the front gate.

All reservations canceled 48 hours or more from the booking date are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Reservations canceled for any reason within 60 days of the date of arrival will result in forfeiture of the RENTAL DEPOSIT (50% of the original rental rate plus all taxes and fees). Reservations canceled within 15 days of the date of arrival will result in forfeiture of the entire rental amount, including all taxes, fees, and rental deposits.

PLEASE NOTE: The beach on Tybee's north shore (Savannah River Entrance) is subject to strong currents during tidal changes. Please swim with care and observe all posted cautions

Also due to association rules and for safety reasons, there are no golf cart rentals allowed to park anywhere on the SBRC grounds. This restriction includes the designated guest spaces and all unmarked parking.

Needs some love
Overall the place was great!!! Needs a little overhaul on a few things. Needs a new blender did not work. Needs a new sofa sleeper it is hard to sleep on and very very in uncomfortable and needs a blow dryer (at Walmart for ten bucks). We loved the location and the place. Just needs some love!!

It was clean, quiet, But It was not wheelchair accessible, we had a extremely hard time getting a family member in and out of our room. , there was no ramp to get to the elevator had to carry wheelchair up stairs to the elevator, I will never stay here again. All pictures and descriptions of property was very misleading.

Fun stay
The unit was clean although the premises could use a little update. It was in a nice location on the beach. Pool was very nice and not crowded. Bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. Very easy checkin and checkout. Only three complaints. 1. AC would not adjuat below 68. 2. Sofabed was unusable as a bed. Had to just sleep on the couch without opening. 3. Insufficent parking. They only allow one parking pass per unit, but my son was comong from a different area, so we had two cars. Even though there were dozens of empty parking spaces, we had to park one car ina public parking space 1/2 mile away, at $4 per hour. This caused me to have about $125 in parking fees.

Love Tybee, did not like this unit, will NOT stay in it again
First off, we love Tybee and the location of this resort. However... we had problems with this unit. There is NOT a queen size bed. It is a full. The managing company has known this for a year + and has not updated/changed the listing. We had to clean the fridge, bathroom (there was hair on the shower walls). The oven/stove were to the point we would NOT cook food there. The sofa bed is falling apart. The unit is SO outdated. There was a temporary AC unit there. We questioned and complained several times about the air. The managing company did send someone out a couple of times. We were told a new AC unit was put in a month ago and they leave the temp unit to help it catch up for a little bit. But, again, a month later the temp unit was still there. It was sweltering in the bedroom even with an oscillating fan and the ceiling fan on high. We had to hang a blanket on the window in the bedroom because at night you could see right through it and it looked like daylight with the light from the hallway. 2 of the 3 smoke detectors did not work at all. Then fan in the bathroom did not work. We were told that these fans were disabled a long time ago because they did not vent to the outside, but there was a washer/dryer in the unit. Where does it vent??? There was a broken chair on the balcony. It was removed, but not replaced, so the 3 of us could not sit on the balcony together. We found crumbs in the condo and tortilla chips on the balcony. There were smudged, dirty fingerprints on the walls, sliding glass door and bathroom mirror. It's a shame to pay this amount for a condo rental that was just sad, and even more that we paid a cleaning fee when we had to clean most of the unit when we got there. The maintenance man, Mike was very nice and did his best to help. The beach front is gorgeous, not crowded, and relaxing. The pool area was nice, grounds well kept. We have stayed at this location previously and loved it but we will NOT stay in this particular condo again. We have asked for a partial refund, but as of yet we have received no response although the managing company had previously been pretty good at responding/calling us. We were told that it was the owners responsibility to fix or update the unit or that they reserved the right to drop the unit. I HIGHLY recommend that they do. We knew prior to arrival that there were no beach chairs, hair dryer, etc. so that was additional $ and stuff we had to pack. Other condos on property provide these.

We are fully licensed, insured and bonded, and all reservation payments are deposited into an audited trust account. We manage the rental process and maintenance of a wide variety of privately owned properties which allows us to pretty much provide something for everyone. We strive to provide our guests with excellent service and value by offering a wide selection of quality properties that are clean and well maintained.

At Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals we are committed to operating a vacation rental business that is driven by excellence in both product and service resulting in customer satisfaction from both the owners we represent and the guests we serve while at the same time providing an empowered work environment for our employees.

We are here to serve you 7 days a week. Our day starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:30 PM, however, Sunday hours may vary during the offseason. Our phone lines are open from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM we turn them over to voice mail at 5:00 PM. Our office is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Days and for some holidays we will close early the day before. We also close early some days to participate in community events such as the Pirate Fest Parade, Beach Bum Parade, etc.
