Great location, walking distance to everything, not a ton of car traffic - 1st is not a thru street. Definitely cozy but roomy at the same time. Don't plan on doing much cooking, minimal kitchen stuff but more than enough if you bring food that can be reheated or eat out! Managed to be here for 4 sunny summer days!

Nice place to stay, good central location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a blast last weekend at Yachats! The rental was clean and right in the middle of everything! The Sip & Stroll was so much fun and I liked not having to drive afterwards, since we were close enough to walk home. Overall a great little getaway rental! Need to work on the wifi tho, we never were able to link to it and the cell service was sketchy at best.

Wonderful choice for our 2-night stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Tide & Seek was the perfect location for our two-night home base in Yachats. It's an ideal spot only two blocks from Yachats State Park (where we spend a lot of time) and about three blocks from the Drift Inn (where we also spend a lot of time). Groceries, post office, and plenty of food and bev choices are all within easy walking distance. Tide & Seek is the perfect size for two of us and our pup and is well-appointed for what we needed. We did not cook, but I was pleased to find a kettle for heating water for my pour-over coffee in the morning. The ice-maker in the freezer was an unexpected bonus. Everything was spotless, and the front patio was perfect for our evening happy hours and morning coffee with crosswords. Literally the only slightly odd part of our experience was the solar-powered mole deterrent stakes, which make a weird, random buzzing sound. It wasn't overly intrusive, by any means, but definitely noticeable. Nothing that would prevent us from staying here again or strongly recommending Tide & Seek to others. Thank you for a lovely time in Yachats!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay - our check in was a bit wonky. Never received an email with the check in information - when I reached out by phone they told me my reservation was not paid in full (which it was) and asked for credit card information. Seemed confused on who my reservation was made through - Vrbo vs rental property company. Overall, it worked out just felt alarming at first. Super cute spot - great location. Only recommendation I have for the property is - provide some outdoor patio furniture to relax in.

The place I had booked canceled on me less than a week prior to my arrival, and I was so happy to find this little cottage. It's the perfect size for one or two people, and it has everything you need: living room, kitchen with appliances, bed, bathroom, laundry. The bed was comfortable. The house was clean. I did see some scattered ants about, but far fewer than other rentals I've had in the area. As an added bonus, the location makes it very easy to access everything in Yachats on foot. I loved being able to run to the post office or grocery store without using my car. I would say that the only drawback was it did feel a bit like living in a fishbowl: if you want to see the ocean, you need to have the curtains open on windows facing the street. Overall, though, it was a lovely stay, and I'd recommend it to others.

Don't want to be too negative so giving this a 4, but did have some issues with the rental. The good is that you are in a great location in Yachats. Everything in town is walkable and that was a big plus. I'm not sure how many other private rentals there are for a couple in this area, looked like mostly full-size houses. Because of this, this unit has a lot of potential.But investment is needed to get it there. The bed was not the most comfortable and the pillows were especially poor, pillows need to be upgraded. The unit also needs some more art and/or color. There is a lot of white wall and harsh lighting that detracts from the aesthetic on the inside.They had a bunch of mole-deterrent devices set up around the yard that would make buzzing noises continuously. Not loud, but once you noticed it, loud enough to be annoying. Because of them I could not enjoy quite reading outside and we could not open the bedroom window at night without putting extra white-noise on to drown it out. The picnic table is nice, but adding a firepit and chairs should be a no-brainer to increase guests value as well.
