We chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect combination of convenience, natural beauty, and the friendly community atmosphere that makes Sitka such a special place. One of the things we love most is how easy it is to experience Southeast Alaska's incredible scenery and wildlife. It's common to see eagles soaring overhead, deer wandering through the area, and beautiful views of the mountains and ocean nearby.

The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and welcoming, making it a great place to relax after a day of fishing, exploring, or sightseeing. We think it provides an authentic Sitka experience and a wonderful home base for enjoying everything our island community has to offer.

Completed in 2026, the cottage offers beautiful mountain views, beach access, modern amenities, and a thoughtfully designed space that feels both cozy and spacious. Guests enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, in-unit laundry, and all the conveniences needed for a relaxing stay.

We especially love that visitors can experience the best of Sitka without spending much time in a car. The property is within walking distance of the airport, Mt. Edgecumbe High School, the Aquatic Center, Sealing Cove Harbor, and SEARHC, while downtown Sitka is just a mile away.
