Ocean One 419 is OCEAN FRONT on the FOURTH FLOOR of a five story elevator building. This 3 bedroom 3 bathroom has a million dollar view. If you know HILTON HEAD you know that this location is walking distance to Coligny Plaza, shopping, tennis, restaurants, theater, nightlife, and more. There is fun for all ages minutes away.
Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool.
This unit boasts 3 OCEANFRONT BALCONIES, one large balcony off the living room and two more attached to the 2 Ocean Front bedrooms. Each bedroom has a private bath. The ocean front master has a KING BED, and the other ocean front bedroom has 2 Queen beds. The 3rd bedroom is a great hang out for the kids, with a bunk bed that is a double on the bottom and a twin on the top. The 3 bedroom also has a sleeper sofa with TV & DVD player. All of the bedrooms have Flat Screen TV's, and if you want to stay in and rent movies you will be able to enjoy them on our 55" LCD living room flat screen TV. You will also enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertop, all appliances and all the cookware and utensils you will need.

Wonderful trip to Hilton Head

In desperate need of Renovation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is not worth the money. Everything is old dirty and needs updating. The refrigerator did not work had rust and looked like it was 30 years old or more. Worst part we had 10 week old baby with breast milk. Will with maintenance great with letting us use unit 3 floors down but what a pain! Dishwasher was the same! Had to handwash everything we used. The pans were seriously unsafe with how they were peeling. The unit wasn’t clean had cockroach and even a frog came from our shower drain. We hated the unit but love the location. Seriously should get our money back.

Condo is great, but needs some new appliances

Our stay was great. The condo was clean and spacious and was in a great location and we would definitely choose to stay here again in the future. The only reason I’m giving it 4 in stead of 5 stars is that the appliances, particularly the refrigerator and dish washer both need to be replaced. They are both worn and rusty and need to be replaced.

Family vacation

This was our first stay in Hilton Head island and we will definitely be back and will rent this unit if available. The only negative was only allowing parking for 2 cars but the guard at the gate recommended parking at low country celebration park and that worked out well

Great Location!

Great location! So close to Coligny and a great view of the ocean from the 3 balconies! Plenty of space, well stocked with all essentials. Hosts were very communicative. I would definitely stay here again!

Would've been great except....

The location of this condo is wonderful - it's right on the beach and very close to Coligney. When we booked this place, we picked a 4th floor spot so that we could see the beach from the balcony. Ended up getting an email shortly before our trip saying that there would be construction, but that it wouldn't get in the way of our view. The day of the trip, as we're headed there, we got a call that the AC was out in the condo we rented, so they moved us to another one on the 3rd floor. Well, I guess that would have to be ok, since we were on the way and ready to have our nice vacation. They also mentioned that they had started construction and that there would be scaffolding now outside the balcony. So, we get to the condo - and it's lovely. BUT, construction everywhere, noise all day, and a now quite blocked view of the beach. How disappointing. I reached out to the manager, who offered a 20% discount for the troubles, and I agreed. Now, it's been 3 weeks since our trip and ZERO communication from the manager, despite me sending 3 separate emails asking when the money would be returned. As much as I liked the location and the place itself, I doubt I will EVER use this site again due to this incompetence. And I'll be sure to let everyone and anyone know about this.

That said, here are a few things that could be improved: The patio furniture was uncomfortable to use. The shower curtain needs changing as it was dirty. The AC would not cool the place enough and without fans it was a bit uncomfortable to fall asleep at night.

Rotten drywall along sides as well. VERY dated condo. Air conditioning worked well. Outdoor furniture left stains on a few peoples' pants.

Family trip.

Enjoyed our visit to HHI. The condo is very well equipped and close to everything. Weather was perfect and we had a great time. Parking is a little limited but we always seemed to find a spot without an issue.

Absolutely wonderful!

Such a beautiful home with lovely views. My family needed a short getaway for rest and time together. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Thank you for creating such a warm and inviting space. We were truly blessed.

Excellent-Ocean One

This year, we finally made a switch to ocean one seeking a three bedroom unit. In addition, we had simply "had enough" of the apathy at our previous place. We wanted to stay in the same general area, however. This unit was so refreshing....exceptionally well equipped, clean, offered plenty of space and was superior in every aspect. We are now sold on this property and hope to continue annually here with the same results.

Black mold, dirty (black feet), and broken glass

The location and view were great, but the condo was filthy. We spent our first night cleaning the place. We had to take the time and spend the money to go buy cleaning supplies for the VERY dirty floors (all of our feet and babies knees were black). After traveling all day it was extremely disappointing and tiring for all of us to spend that first night going to go buy and then clean the condo. The fridge water dispenser had black mold which we didnt notice for about two days; it was very upsetting when we found it and ended up having to go to the store again and buy jugs of water for the entire week (one person had noticed their throat feeling off). The dishes in the cupboards were dirty and we had to wash all of their dishes. We found broken glass on the master bathroom counter, open safety pin on the floor along with other small objects (we had a crawling baby!), and the bunk bed room tub didnt drain well and was sandy. Two of the three shower curtains had black mold on them with the master one downright appalling. I emailed the management company with pictures and they came out the following Monday and tried to fix everything (the black mold fridge dispenser could not be fully cleaned). It appears between guests they just replaced linens and picked up but did not actually clean the place. The beach chairs were very rusty and one not usable...we joked that we hoped everyones shots were up to date. The outdoor furniture had black stuff constantly falling from it which made the patio dirty. I believe we should be provided monetary consideration since we had to spend time and money to clean the place that didnt appear to have been cleaned in a really long time. Definitely not how we expected to spend our vacation we traveled across the country for and spent a lot of money on.

Great condo and location with a few issues

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in the building before and we like the layout, location, and amenities. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked and clean. Since I have now been contacted 4 times in 2 weeks for feedback/review - here I go! I am not a picky person and would stay here again, but as an owner of some vacation rentals myself, I am going to provide the property manager this feedback. First, they were completely non-responsive to an issue I had. Second, there was very noisy construction in an adjacent unit during the entire weekdays (the week after Christmas). In our units we own, we don't schedule construction during holidays or peak weeks and when there is construction going on, we make sure to warn our guests and discuss any concerns. Third, the garbage bags provided were the cheapest quality possible and didn't even fit the garbage can. Every time we tried to use one, they would tear and garbage would fall out so we had to buy our own. Property management companies in competitive locations like HHI shouldn't skimp on the little touches especially items that help the guest keep the unit clean (dish soap and supplies, garbage bags, broom, mop, cleaners, etc). We like to leave the unit pretty clean when we leave, and couldn't because there were no supplies for us to do so, or an instructions. Also make sure to bring your own beach chairs, as there was no access to get into the closet.Overall we are happy, the unit was good, nice furniture, and location, but the property manager could improve.
