Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has been coming to Jekyll Island for 40 years for our family reunions. We love Jekyll Island!I have for the last several years used Jekyll Island Realty for our rentals. Always courteous and easy to deal with and offer a lot of options.This was a last minute trip and we rented Atlantic Breeze # 3. The best thing about it is it is very close to the beach. Other than that there is nothing good to say. Everything about it needs updated. The kitchen appliances and the cookware are substandard and all the furnishings need replaced. It also needs sprayed for bugs. I will not stay there again, but we will be back to Jekyll Island.

Great location-easy walk to the beach. Great price for being so close to the beach. The furniture in the unit is in need of an update-imagine how cool it would look with retro mid-century style furniture instead of family cast-offs. If you’re looking for a place close to the beach for not much $, then this set of apartments fits. If you want something trendy with modern amenities, you probably should look elsewhere.

The furnishings are dated but functional, it was clean and real close to the beach. Our last night there our AC quit, we called and Anthony was there in Minutes. He offered to have someone come fix it or supply extra fans, it was late and cool so we opted for the fans. Highly recommend this company!

Did not enjoy this rental

We were unhappy with this vacation rental so much so that we forfeited the last night and found a hotel to stay in. It was just a little depressing and worn out. It was like staying in your friend's basement with a random assortment of his grandparents left over furniture. For some reason, I thought these were actually on the beach. They are not. I suggest spending a little more money and staying at the residence inn by Marriot.

vintage condo

This spacious condo was one house from the beach & a short drive to the convention center. Has many amenities (pots, dishes, vacuum, washer/dryer, etc). Bring an AC adapter plug for your laptop because the wiring is vintage and not all socket locations are updated. I would stay there again.

great location but very grungy property

This property needs a significant deep clean and interior and furnishing replacements. The furniture and rug had ground in grime, and the window wells were filthy. In addition, the short-term, between-guest cleaning was inadequate. For example, the previous occupants' hair was still present on the bathtub drain keeper (yuck!). Jekyll Realty charges for that cleaning so I would expect a thorough job. Finally, a long-term resident or owner smokes out on the patio (which was adjacent to ours), so I would not recommend these units for folks expecting a non-smoking property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: With the Covid-19 outbreak, I had not seen my grandchildren in months. By mid July, I needed to see and spend some time with them. I immediately thought of Jekyll Island. Through Jekyll Realty, I discovered the Atlantic Breeze Apartments. It was very near the beach. We rented bikes and rode the trails. We played Mini Golf and enjoyed the deer. The apartment was nice, clean and comfortable. We cooked and ate our meals meals in giving us a very safe and sanitary environment. The aptmt had a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Had a lovely time and plan to come back

While the furnishings are aged, the property is great for a small family, and the location is spectacular. We would definitely stay here again!

Love Atlantic Breezes!

More restaurant choices than there used to be but you can't beat Skipper's in Darien, GA just about 30 minutes from Jekyll.
