Great family home, 1/4 mile to beach, large yard, swing set, near bike trail

This classic Cape 1,800 square feet is perfect for families or friends. We update the house each year and this year we put in a new kitchen and floors, and updated the AC system.

We have 4 bedrooms (2 with Queen size beds), one bedroom with 2 twins and one bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. 2 bathrooms with tubs and an outdoor shower. A large living room, breezeway and large back and side yard with a Playset for kids. Central Air, Internet and 2 TV's.

Located near Harwichport town center and walking distance to the beach. Our home is down the street from many cape family activities, go-carts, bumper boats, trampolines, Sundae School Ice cream and many more fun family activities.

Great West Harwich Location!

Perfect location for walking to Earle Rd beach! The property was great, well maintained with a nice and large outdoor shower. We will be rebooking for next summer!

Wonderful beach house experience

We stayed with our two young children and another family with two young children. The home was perfect in terms of space for all of us and the proximity to the beach. It was a short walk to a beautiful beach and a short bike ride to other great options. We enjoyed having a couple of living areas to spread out into and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable as well. The place was very clean and stocked with everything we needed--including beach chairs, toys and a wagon.

Cute house, great location

We enjoyed our week here very much—a nice combination of a pleasant, clean, well-supplied house and great area. Very walkable beaches and good choices of local eateries. The well-maintained swing set was a huge hit with our 5yo! The yard was lovely and shady, too, an unexpected bonus on a hot week. Very nice place to stay!

Perfect location!

Wonderful location for our first trip to Cape Cod! Accommodations were cozy and welcoming. Communication with hosts excellent. We recommend it!

Great location

Mary and Paul were excellent hosts. The house was in a great location to beaches and town, and the swing set in the backyard was one of our kids favorite things from vacation. Thank you both for a great stay for our family vacation!

Great spot for a family vacation!

Truly had a wonderful week on the Cape. The home was perfect for our kids (9 and 5 year old girls). Great outdoor shower, grill, and swing set. Quick walk to beach. A mile or less from Sundae School ice cream, go karts, mini golf, trampoline park, etc. and to top it all off the wonderful owners quickly offered to dry our clothes when the clothes dryer broke. All in all, highly recommend this spot!

Mary is a great host and the location is wonderful for a relaxing vacation close to the beach

We spent 10 days with our 4.5 years old. The house is perfect for a relaxing vacation in the Cape. The beach is a block away, the backyard is perfect to relax, eat and play outside. Harwich is a very family friendly town.

Great Vacation Home in a Great Location

Our family, which included 3 adults and 5 children had a great time in this clean and comfortable house in a neat location close to all the activities that children enjoy. The best is that it is walking distance to the beach. The house also has a nice back yard that we used to hang out in after a long day of activities. The owner was also very pleasant to deal with. Would definitely rent this home again. Fun vacation.

Perfect Vacation Home

This vacation home was absolutely perfect. It was impeccably clean. The home was completely stocked with everything you could need for your time here. Beach chairs, umbrella, childrens wagon, and sand toys were a huge plus. The back yard was spacious and private. The entire home was spacious and the furnishings were all in excellent condition. We thoroughly enjoyed out time!

The pictures are exactly what you get and more.

We have stayed in VRBO's before and have had very good time but nothing compares to the outstanding treatment we received from Mary. From the very beginning Mary answered our emails of questions about the property we had very quickly and she was continually over the top helpful through our whole stay at the house. The house was clean and it had everything we needed right down to a wagon for the beach. Its nice to know when you go to stay at someone's home they thought of all our needs. The house is a very short walk to the beach and the yard is big but also very private. We forward returning to rent the house again next summer as soon as we pick a week.

Neat, clean, comfortable. Great location.

Booked for a long weekend for a wedding. We know the area well and this was ideal to where we needed to be - Dennis, the beach, Harwich Port. The home was welcoming, comfortable, and clean. Would certainly stay there again.

Just right!

For our first visit to the cape we couldn't have had a better place to stay. The house itself is open and airy. Clean tidy and updated. Plenty of room and then some for two families of four. The yard is beautiful. Fenced in and private. And the location of the house was an easy 5 min walk to two town beaches. As well as a 10-15 minute walk to the package store! Mary was a great host and made us feel welcome and looked after. I would certainly not hesitate to recommend this rental to anyone!

Great rental

We found this property to be very comfortable and private. Kids (ages 10-12) were able to ride bikes there by there on their own. Easy walk to Grey Neck beach. House was immaculate inside and out. Updated and comfortable. Mary (owner) was easy to communicate with, very responsive and very helpful-giving suggestions via email and with printed info left in the house in order to make our stay the best. Would rent this property again without hesitation. We had a great vacation!

Exceeded our expectations!

We had such a great week in this beautiful house! We spent the week here with another couple and 4 kids in total and had plenty of space for everyone to relax. The fenced in yard, patio and swing set were perfect for us to relax while the kids played! Perfect location - super close walk to the beach and quick drive into town. Mary was wonderful to work with and made sure we had everything we needed to be completely comfortable. Really hope to return next year!! Thank you for a great vaca!

Wonderful family home in Harwich

We had a wonderful stay at Harwich. The house has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. There is plenty of room and the beds are comfortable. The location is perfect. You can walk to the beach and shops and restaurants are a quick drive from the house. Harwich is centrally located so it is easy to drive to Provincetown for the day or take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard.

We are a family living in Cambridge, MA. Over the last 25 years we have spent every summer enjoying the cape in this house. It is a home away from home. We have so many special memories shared with friends and our children. I am sure that it will bring many new memories to families and friends who decide to rent our home.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Mid cape is a great part of the cape, central to most parts of the cape. If you feel like a day trip to Nantucket the marina is 1/2 mile down the street, running boats to and from the island everyday. We are close to the bike trail which ends in Wellfleet. It is a 22 mile ride to the end and you can stop at the Beachcomber for lunch and head back.

Our home is a perfect size for a family.

New Kitchen and Floors, Central Air and big back and side yard and playset. It is great for kids who want to play sports away from the adults!
