Come enjoy old Florida living at this completely renovated cottage style home on nearly 7 acres. Relax and unwind in this 1000 square foot home with king bed and queen sleeper to accommodate up to four people. Open concept living, dining and full kitchen. Laundry facilities available. Equipped with WiFi and direct tv. While enjoying the private backyard space, it is common to spot abundant wildlife and wildflowers. Wild orchids in many of our oak trees bloom in early summer.

A BIT MORE ABOUT THE PROPERTY:
This home is nestled in an old Florida setting and shares the seven acres with the main home occupied by the homeowners.
A creek runs through the middle of the property and is available to catch and release fishing. Fishing poles are available for use during your stay. Alligators and otters are spotted in the creek regularly. Also be on the lookout for deer, owls, hawks, eagles, and many nocturnal animals.

GUEST ACCESS:
Guests can use any part of the seven acres for fishing, barbecues, sitting by a fire or enjoying the wildlife. There is a very private space behind the house that is quite secluded.
The entire property is tucked back in a wooded area approximately one half mile off the private road.

This property is on beautiful acreage, so it is quiet and peaceful, but remarkably close to services (gas, groceries, etc). We loved our stay here, and we were very close to the friends we came to Florida to visit.

Stay at Wild Orchid Creek if you want a true flora and fauna of Florida experience! The property is beautiful. The cottage is relaxing and the owner is fantastic. She met all of our needs.

Peaceful Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wild Orchid Creek. It was very private and peaceful. Out away from the hustle and bustle but not to far from activities. The owners were great people. Very friendly, welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful property and super comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous little place. So much charm and super clean and quiet. Only thing I’d suggest is make sure to bring your bug spray to fight off the mosquitoes and keep in mind that the neighbors up the road have dogs that wander around the neighborhood so you may wake up to some roaming visitors on four legs :) Thanks Chantal!

Charming and Fresh

Blown away by the charm of this place. Very clean and fresh looking with decor out of a magazine. Well equipped. Easy to find. Tucked away in a quiet wooded area yet at most a 30 minute drive to the places we were going to in Bradenton an Sarasota.

This is a lovely little house on a beautiful property. My son's and I were in town for a regatta and Wild Orchid Creek is close enough to everything we could need, not too far from all the shops and restaurant's and offered us a quiet, peaceful and relaxing escape from all the activity in Sarasota. The property has a true old Florida feel. The house is small but spacious at the same time. Its very comfortable and nicely finished! We would love to stay here again, hopefully with more time to explore the acreage next time!

Zen Country Escape

This is a beautiful vacation rental. The house is beautiful as well as the property. Lovely location in the country but near the city. Nice restaurants nearby. We had reservations for Myyaka Elephant Ranch which I highly recommend! We visited Anna Maria Island beach and Clearwater to meet friends. Chantal is an excellent hosted providing little extras like wine, snacks, coffee and spices for cooking in a fully equipt kitchen. I will definitely return!

Beyond expectations

I am a bird watcher seeking quiet out of the way places that remain in their natural condition. This property offers a heavenly piece of the real Florida, full of life, with birds, an alligator, an otter. I spent much of my time wandering around the property and just relaxing outside. The residence is comfortable, with updated finishes and appliances. Chantal is a pleasant, caring owner and receptive to any suggestions you might have. And, there are stores and restaurants five and ten minutes away. It is a half hour drive to the Selby Botanical Garden and downtown Sarasota. All in all, I would enjoy staying again at Wild Orchid Creek.

Unique Stay in Sarasota

Such a cute little place!

Very clean and super cute place. I wish I could live in this little cottage. The AC was fantastic. The property was beautiful. And probably one of the easiest check ins/outs I’ve ever experienced. I never had to physically meet the host but she kept communication and made it clear not to hesitate if we were to need anything during our stay. Thank you Chantelle!

The Cabin is Absolutely Lovely, but Vrbo is Horrible and Despicable

The place is breathtaking, an oasis nicely tucked away. It was worth the 11 hour drive to Sarasota. This was the second property I reserved on Vrbo. I found it to be more affordable and lovely. I canceled the first reservation within 5 minutes of making it, but I have received only lies from Vrbo staff regarding my refund. Consequently, I have filed a complaint with the FL Attorney General's office and my credit card company. I will never ever again rent a property through Vrbo.
