Welcome home to Island Bliss! This adorable vintage cottage was built in 1910 and has been completely renovated to include modern conveniences while respecting the original character and charm. Guests will love the huge private pool! The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on Tybee's north side. Just a short 2 1/2 block stroll away from the beach, Tybee Lighthouse, and the popular restaurant North Beach Grill.

Guests will love this charming two-bedroom, 1.5-bath cottage featuring a cozy living room with a sleeper sofa, 4K Smart TV, and central HVAC for year-round comfort. The fully renovated kitchen is a standout, offering state-of-the-art appliances, a gas stove, Keurig coffee maker, and casual bar counter seating—plus a Margaritaville frozen drink blender for whipping up daiquiris to enjoy on the porch. Original pine floors, shiplap walls, a clawfoot tub, and a large shower enhance the cottage’s classic character.

Sleeping arrangements include a main bedroom with a queen-size bed and a second bedroom in an open loft with two twin beds, ideal for kids. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, satellite TV, Blu-ray player, washer and dryer, and two enclosed porches overlooking the beautifully manicured yard.

Step outside to enjoy your own private oasis, featuring a beautifully landscaped yard and a sparkling swimming pool (9' x 26', with depths ranging from 3.5 to 4.5 feet). The fully fenced yard offers a sense of seclusion, complete with a gas grill for laid-back cookouts and a fully enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water—perfect for rinsing off after a beach day. Private off-street parking for two vehicles adds extra convenience. Just across the street, Jaycee Park offers a scenic walking and biking path, plus a playground for even more outdoor fun.

Guests can choose to add optional pool heat for an additional cost. Parking for 1 car in front of the home, and 1 car behind home (compact only). This home is not pet-friendly.

Cute cottage in paradise!

We had a fantastic time at this charming cottage that truly felt like a getaway to the islands. Its perfect, tranquil location right on the bike path made exploring Tybee Island a breeze. We can't wait to visit again on our next trip to the Savannah area!

Quick Getaway

“Island Bliss” was amazing! We just wanted to getaway for a quick weekend from Atlanta and this cottage was perfect. Having the pool with the lush landscaping was such a treat!

Charming space...seems bigger than the square footage indicates. Pool is nice and it’s a 5 min walk to the north beach boardwalk. A little slice of heaven!

Great mini vacation house!

Great house, so much fun! The only slightly tricky part was getting into driveway/ parking spot and backing out without hitting neighbors trash cans etc. Such a bright and fun island house!

Good family time

We were a bike riding distance from the beach. We rented bikes from zoom. The house was accommodating & relaxing with everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay. The upstairs loft area was a little warm but they provided a fan & the kids were fine up there. There seems to be a lot of stray cats lingering around the home. Overall it was good, we will stay again!

Great Spot

House was clean and had all the ammenities we needed! It was a quick walk to the beach/lighthouse and short 20 minute drive to Savannah. It was too cold to use the pool, but that would have become a big bonus with warmer weather. Highly recommend this place. Just FYI...the second bedroom upstairs has small beds and a low ceiling...so would only recommend counting that as a bedroom if you have smaller children.

AMAZING PLACE TO GET AWAY

I am 78 yr old an a retired wedding designers This property's is beautiful Was a bit smaller than I expected.But Is impeccably designed an decorated. Very comfortable. It was a shame the out side grounds were very dirty. The Pool was clean. Be sure to pay the extra fee of$15.00 a day to heat pool an do so when you make reservations. The office staff. Is very nice an helpful. I recommend an would stay again. Loved it

Amazing!!!

I so enjoyed my stay! The home was so wonderful and the staff was very helpful! I needed a quick weekend getaway and this house was everything. I loved the beach was just a quick two-minute bike ride away! The staff helped me find the closest bike rental facility near me. I also loved that you could heat the bathroom and the private pool. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils you need to have a nice bbq. I loved that there's also a margarita machine (I didn't get to use it,..but I plan to on my next stay). Overall I loved every minute there and so did my friend. They loved the house so much they hardly left lol...Can't wait to come back soon!

BAIT AND SWITCH PROPERTY

We booked this rental month in advance and they nicely took our money until we had crossed the cancelation deadline. A few days before our actual travel dates an agent called and said the property was "uninhabitable". We were switched to a different property that was much larger, but run down and in a bad location right by the main road. The pool was not maintained, we had to deal with endless car noise and never ending issues with a half broken house. Beware!ca

No Beach or Pool Gear Provided

The property was great, it was as advertised. We were very comfortable. I'd stay again, except that it lacked all the basics for the beach and pool. No beach towels, no pool towels, and no beach chairs. I've stayed at many such properties, and you don't always get an umbrella, boogie boards, and bikes but you often do! Having no beach towels and beach chairs at a beach house? Come on!!! Having no pool towels for the pool?!?!?! As a result we could not use the pool or go to the beach until we had purchased some overpriced towels at the local tourist trap, and rented beach chairs. Really it's just so obvious it's hard to believe.

Island Bliss

Pros: This is an adorable property. It is just a few blocks from north beach. There were enough paper towels and dish detergent for the week. Pool was small, but comfortable. Very nice outdoor shower. Cons: There was no salt or pepper (not a problem, but worth knowing). The entry has a solid archway which is a little low (spouse is 6'4" & occasionally hit his head). Also, the front door is secure, but the deck door to the pool needs the lock and/or the whole door replaced. It is a french door and the lock is identical to several at my house, so it was not user error. They have done a quick fix of a latch which does not work well, either. I did not feel my belongings were secure. For the price, this is not acceptable, as the fence around the property is not a security fence.

Lovely property just steps from North Beach, Tybee Island

The description and pictures do this property well. We loved the flexibility of either going to the beach or staying in and swimming in the pool. It turned out to be a vacation saver when the man 'o war came in on day 3. (No fun at the beach with them around!) Perfect size for the two of us for the 4-5 days we were there and a great jumping off point to explore Savannah as well. Two not as positive comments: 1) Directions were off by 1 turn on the way in and we circled the property for ~ 40 minutes before calling and having someone talk us into it. Map programs do not have the location of the address correct. 2) The loft bedroom (sleeps two) was hot! It did cool down after dark / around 10 pm but the place needs to have a fan that can be placed in the loft to make that space usable in summer.

Cute Beach Cottage

We enjoyed our stay! The kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was very clean and organized. We only had two issues. This might be related to the time of year we stayed. The pool was a little dirty from the surrounding plants even after skimming the pool multiple times. And there was a lot of construction going on around the block until late at night.

Cozy Historic Bungalow by the Beach

This was such a cute little historic bungalow. My partner and I needed a getaway for a few days in January. Not the most ideal time to stay at a beach house but this little sanctuary was perfect. We worked on puzzles, made dinner, watched movies, and took long walks on the beach (when the weather cooperated). The little tranquil pool was the perfect spot to read, even if it was a bit too cold to swim. It would have been even better if the fireplace worked but honestly I was perfect for us, even in the off-season.

Island Bliss

This was a beautiful home located in a small residential area with heated private pool. It was only a very short walking distance to the beach, restaurant, lighthouse, and museum.

Always a perfect stay!

This was our third time at Island Bliss and we LOVE it here! Everything is stocked from the kitchen to the bathroom, and we love the setup of the TVs bc it’s easy to relax in the evenings. The landscaping is kept clean and the check in/out is easy.

What a great spot!

My best friend and I loved this house. Rented it specifically for the pool and never wanted to leave. Pool and house were pristine. Highly recommend and will definitely return to this oasis again.

Repeat visitor - LOVED it here!

We are repeat visitors to Island Bliss - and every time we love it even more! My husband and I spent a week here. The landscaping was fantastic this time and the pool temperature was just perfect. (Last time was a bit overgrown and couldn't get around the pool/outdoor shower/back driveway as easily.) House was clean and fresh from top to bottom, kitchen is bright and full of everything we needed, and even the laundry detergent was provided! We absolutely love it here. We'll be coming back with our 4 year old son in a month and can't wait!

Beautiful and Beachy

We had a great time and this beachy cottage was perfect for us. It has so much character and our 9 and 7 yr old loved the upstairs loft! The walk to the beach is easy and it was awesome to have a pool at the house. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing

Very clean, quiet area. The house has so much character and charm. Stayed here for memorial day weekend with a group of friends. We enjoyed the ability to go to the beach or spend the day by the pool. Highly recommend!
