This lovely apartment is located in the Old Town of Antibes. The house was built in 1912 and holds three apartments, of which this one is located on the top floor. The large open kitchen has a dining area for up to eight people. From the kitchen in the west, you have a view of the picturesque pedestrian street, Rue Fourmilliere. The kitchen is equipped with a stove (two hotplates), an oven, a fridge, a small freezer, and a washing machine. This kitchen is perfect for cooking lovely dinners.
The living room windows face east and offer a lush view. The room is decorated with two armchairs, a coffee table and a sofa that easily turns into a bed for 1-2 people (120 cm).
The small toilet is located under the stairs, which leads up to the sleeping loft with an accompanying shower room in an open plan. The bedroom has a bed of 160 cm. There are also air conditioning and access to a seven sqm terrace in the east. From the terrace, you have a view of the mountains, and you can almost see the high masts down at the harbor.
If you want to go to one of the nearby beaches, you can walk to Plage Gravette within 10 minutes or Plage Garoupe within 15 minutes. The bus station is three minutes away from the apartment. In the vicinity, there are also a theater and a cinema showing films with English subtitles on Mondays. In the area, there are many restaurants, cafés, and lovely shops selling home decoration, clothing, food, and delicacy.
Antibes is an all-year-around city and is close to the airport in Nice, from which you can take local buses for only €1.50. If you like to go skiing during winter, you can easily take the bus from Nice to Isola 2000 in about 1.5 hours. You can also visit one of the villages and cities along the Riviera, such as Cannes, Villefranche, Ventimiglia or why not Biot where we recommend a visit to the Musée Fernand Léger.
The sea invites you to swim until the end of October. There is also a public swimming pool, which is open year-round, for both outdoor and indoor swimming. Do not miss the famous Musée Picasso, located in Château Grimaldi, where Pablo Picasso lived and worked for six months during 1946.
