Hillary Road is located on a quiet area of Langley in Slough. The house has recently undergone a full refurbishment to a high standard and has a light, clean and airy feel. It includes a 5 spacious bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a half bathroom along with a fully fitted kitchen incorporating a dining area. A separate lounge, complete with a large sized, internet connected Smart TV with Virgin Media channels, has easy access to the garden and provides a great area to relax in The house also has off-street and free parking.



There are 5 spacious bedrooms on the first and second floors with free standing chest of drawers and an open style clothes rack providing good storage and resting environment. Each bedroom features two single beds which can be put together to create a larger bed if required. .
On the first floor, there's two bathrooms and a half bathroom, these are fully tiled and one with a full bath and the other with a large walk in shower enclosure. The half bathroom provides an additional W.C and sink basin.
The kitchen is equipped to a high standard, so if you are just sorting out breakfast or if you fancy cooking dinner yourself... it includes the basics like electric kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, plus an electric Hob, fan oven, and it comes fully equipped with kitchenware, utensils, pots and pans, cutlery, crockery and glasses.

The whole house is well equipped with just the right mix of quality, meeting high standards and functionality. It is a comfortable and pleasing living space, just right for your visit whether it is just one night or longer.

Complimentary toiletries include soap and hand wash, shampoo and shower body wash. Of course there are ample towels included. There's easy access to road transport links, the M4/M25 are within a 5 minute drive and Heathrow Airport just a few more miles away. This is an excellent base for those visiting and staying in Slough, Heathrow and the surrounding area.

Some issues - Has potential but not a house for 10 to stay in
On the positive: The bedrooms and bathrooms are obviously refurbished and have been so to a high quality. The bathrooms and bedrooms were all very clean. Clean/good sized towels provided for bathrooms and clean tea towel provided in the kitchen. Bedlinin provided and clean. Plenty of toilet rolls provided. Fans provided and very welcome in the heat Issues: It was stated that soap and shampoo was provided. There were none in the house but luckily a local shop open on a Sunday evening nearby. In the kitchen one of the chairs was unusable (on the verge of collapse when sat on). The kitchen was really quite dirty. We had to go out to buy bleach and thoroughly clean the sink area, washing up bowl and the cutlery drawer (really dirty). On the way up the stairs a nail was sticking out of the skirting board. We had to cover it with a toilet roll to ensure our kids did not scrape their feet/legs on it. When unpacking into the bedroom drawers they tipped forward. Luckily onto an adult not a child. The hall and lounge carpets are very dirty. We are a party of 9 checked into a house for 10 yet we only had 4 breakfast bowls, 3 chairs to sit on around a small kitchen table, not enough cookwear (2 pans and no oven tray, although lots of frying pans) and a lounge that only has enough seats for 5 people. Not what we expected. We expected room for 10. Made breakfast, evening meal and evenings together difficult. Luckily we were only 9 as the 5th bedroom really did squeeze in the 2nd bed. House doesn’t feel secure from the rear garden end. Fence is really rickety/ No dividing fence. Kids could not play outside as washing line spikes in the ground, rusted furniture and there was even a bone out there, they did not feel safe. There was someone who turned up on our last day to do a temporary fix to the fence. No bathroom lock on the door on one of the bathrooms. Not ideal when you are sharing with another family. This bathroom also has the shelf above the sink missing and no toilet lid. The other bathroom with just a shower - the shower does not change temperature. Just alternates between cool and like warm. Lots of little things that if had been seen to properly would have made for a more pleasant stay. I would stay here again if the items listed above were sorted out as it is a really good spot to explore the Windsor area. However, in its current setup I wouldn’t stay in a group larger than 5.

Tea, coffee, sugars and sweeteners, cereal, milk pods, body wash, shampoo and hand wash.

For longer stays housekeeping cleans and changes linens and towels once a week.
