This spacious, split level maisonette retains some original Victorian features, but is contemporary in design and enjoys great views of the sand dunes behind Barmouth’s Blue Flag beach.

This period property is split over 2 levels, with an open-plan living area, it has two large bedrooms (one en-suite) and an entertainment area with a single flip chair bed plus a family bathroom. We can accommodate up to 6 guests. Lightweight ramp available for wheelchair user- not powerchairs.

You could be soaking up the sun all day on the golden sand or in the dunes or enjoying the spectacular sunset over Cardigan Bay from the garden or big bay window. For those cooler times of year there is gas central heating, double glazing and of course the apartment has free WIFI. We will consider one small/medium dog. Dogs are welcome on the beach except in the restricted area. Miles of sweeping sandy beaches and stunning walks are just a stone’s throw from the apartment. As well as a fantastic location with views of Barmouth’s award-winning sandy beach and the Llyn Peninsula, this lovely holiday home is only a two-minute walk to Barmouth town centre with its shops, harbour and good pubs and eateries.

There is no designated parking but there are free parking spaces outside and a car park opposite, as well the main town car park 500m away. Even in high season there is usually no problem parking close by.

Surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park, the apartment is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want. For those with family’s, miles of sweeping sandy beaches await you, or perhaps you could explore nearby Harlech Castle – a World Heritage Site. If you're into cycling or horse-riding, there are numerous scenic places to ride and the internationally-famous mountain-biking centre at Coed y Brenin just 20 minutes away. This is a walker’s paradise with the Mawddach Trail and Taith Ardudwy Way very close, whilst the Wales Coast Path passes the front door! For those seeking a little more challenge, Cader Idris lies at the head of the Mawddach Estuary, and Snowdon can be reached in less than an hour. If you're not the active type, then how about a ride on the Cambrian Coast railway – one of the UK’s most scenic railway routes all the way along this glorious coast line – or maybe one of the famous narrow-gauge steam railways that proliferate in this corner of Wales?

The sitting area has two sofas, one 3 seater fabric settee, a 2 seater leather recliner and a riser/recliner chair for relaxing, the latter is suitable for people with limited mobility. A flat screen 49” SMART TV/DVD. In the dining area is wooden table, seating six with matching chairs and coffee table, plus original pine flooring.

The stylish open plan kitchen with breakfast bar is towards the far end of the lounge and is equipped with everything you would expect in a well-presented holiday home. The kitchen has ‘high gloss’ kitchen units with granite effect worktops, a double built-in fan oven, gas hob and extractor hood over, fridge, slim line dishwasher, toaster, iron and ironing board.

The apartment comfortably sleeps 5 guests, we can accommodate a 6th guest using the single flip chair bed (suitable for under 14’s) A £35 supplement applies

Short breaks when available: Monday-Friday 4 nights and Friday-Monday 3 nights. There is a minimum charge of £350 for any stay.

Prices inclusive of energy, wifi, bedding and towels. Please bring your own beach towels. Cleaning fee of £49 applied to each booking.

If you'd like to bring your pet, we require details of their age and breed before accepting and there will be a £25 per dog supplement.

Changeover day is SATURDAY in the main season.

It is the guests’ responsibility to insure against any losses that may occur should the need to cancel their holiday arise.
