Informações sobre o alojamento

Bay Tree Cottage - sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

Bay Tree Cottage is a stylishly furnished and decorated, quintessentially Cotswold, terraced cottage built of honey-coloured Cotswold stone, with a charming bay window, that sits between two equally pretty, neighbouring properties. The three-story cottage comfortably accommodates five guests but can sleep six (if two guests sleep in the small double bedroom). It is located down a quiet no-through road, immediately opposite St David's Church and its beautifully kept churchyard.

The cottage has a long, south-facing garden (approx. 25m x 5m), accessed through the kitchen at the rear of the house, which is predominately grass with planted borders and a raised gravelled terrace at the southern end where guests can sit and enjoy the sunshine, have a BBQ and eat al fresco. Adjacent to the kitchen is an attached outbuilding (private) and privy - the latter can be used by guests should they need to!

Step in directly from Church Street into the cosy living room, with seating around the open fireplace and a dining area beside the door into the kitchen. The kitchen is small but fully equipped for a self-catering stay. The back door leads from the kitchen out to the garden. Upstairs are three double bedrooms, with a standard double room, a small double room and a family bathroom on the first floor and king-size master bedroom with an en-suite shower room on the top floor. Throughout the cottage are its original mid-18th Century features, including exposed beams, flagstone flooring, beautiful wooden doors and a steep, narrow staircase - something to note for guests with limited mobility.

*Dogs: 1 well-behaved dog welcome at the cottage at an additional cost each. Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog and we will then revise your booking confirmation. The pet fee is NOT included in your booking fee. A request for an additional fee per pet will be sent to you after you have placed your booking. Your pet fee must be paid for before your arrival date.

A dining table, with seating for up to six guests, sits at the back of the room beside the door into the Kitchen.

Great Location
Thank you for a lovely stay , Bay Tree cottage was a great location for a group of friends visiting and touring around the cotswolds. The accommodation was perfect with the added bonus of the garden to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening sunshine! The beds were super comfy too. Great stay, would recommend and would definitely use Bolthold cottages again.

Great property and location.
We enjoyed our stay at Bay Tree Cottage, which has a great location close to the main street of the village and all it has to offer. The cottage was easy to locate and access, and we were able to park our car directly out front each day. Naturally being a historical cottage, some aspects should be considered, such as steep stairs and low headroom in doorways, but these are not unusual for a property of this age.

Comfortable and well equipped cottage in great location
We spent 3 nights in this cozy cottage in Moreton. The cottage is comfortable, very well equipped and has a great location with plenty of food and drink options within walking distance. It is an easy drive to many of classic Cotswold villages and attractions.

Bay Tree Cottage
Cosy cottage in an ideal location for exploring the Cotswolds. South facing garden but unfortunately the BBQ was inaccessible due to overgrown foliage. Owner responded very quickly when we had an issue with the washing machine . Would highly recommend the White Hart restaurant in the town. Only reason we haven’t given it five stars is there are areas of minor maintenance required within within the cottage .
