As well as the all important bar offering refreshments and light snacks situated between the front and back 9, the complex also boasts a newly refurbished hotel with restaurant and stunning panoramic sea view terrace, offering lunch and dinner menus or just drinks, tennis courts with both tennis and paddle lessons available and a fully fitted gym, all only a short walk from the villa.
If golf is your passion you will be pleased to know your are surrounded with world class courses but its not all about golf there are a multitude of alternative activities. A short walk in the opposite direction bring you to la fuente centre, this area covers a duel purpose, you will find the local supermarkets ( Aldi & Mercadona) as well as chemists banks etc it is also the centre for bars and restaurants, cafes and bakeries and much more, offering a wide range of cuisines, numerous bars offering an array of entertainment from sports to live music, you will find something to suit everyone’s tastes.
Within a short drive there are various other comercial centres, Villa Martin plaza, famed for it bars and restaurants and often hosting free live concerts in high season, or Cabo Roig strip that always promises a lively night out.
If you like a little retail therapy we have la Zenia boulevard on the doorstep, offering an impressive selection of shops with all the top names you would expect, the second floor is dedicated to snack bars and restaurants and a large children’s play area, they often have entertainment in the central plaza so a trip to the boulevard often turns into a day out.
Orihuela costa really does have so much to offer, the climate is exceptional, of course the summers are warm but due to the unique micro climate created by the salt lakes in Torrevieja you can enjoy mild weather nearly year round, there are 11 blue flag beaches, all having chiringuitos (beach bars) offering fresh food and drinks, some beaches offer aquatics where you can hire a peddle boat or a jet ski or take a ride on one of the inflatables, at cabo roig beach there is a dedicated paddle board centre catering from beginners to advanced, you can even practice yoga on the water, there are marinas at cabo roig and campoamor for those interested in hiring a boat or taking a fishing charter, we also have cycle hire and plenty of trails and nature walks, for those a little more trill seeking there is an excellent go carting centre and a multi adventure centre offering quad biking, horse riding and much more, the closest town is Torrevieja and is well worth a visit in the summer months the walk along the promenade with all its ice cream parlours is a delight there is a wonderful street market selling all sorts and a fair for the children, they even have a water park (aqua polis) Torrevieja comes alive at night, the new marina complex is second to none and guarantees a good night out and for the night owls there are numerous clubs to choose from.
If you like a more traditional feel try a visit to Orihuela city it wont disappoint especially if you catch one of the many fiestas.
Within a very short distance from the villa there is something to suit everyone’s tastes, you will always be left wishing you had more time.
