Casa Gioia is a very comfortable two bedroom accommodation that sits on one of the many sloping terraces typical of the Amalfi Coast. It is located in a tranquil setting, in the heart of Praiano, an ancient fisherman’s village situated in-between Positano and Amalfi. The village is made of clusters of small white-washed houses topped with typical domes that cling to the rocky cliffs above the sea. Now and then a “scalinatella” (a flight of steps) winds up among the houses and then goes downwards among the lemon terraces and the coastal road famous for its hairpin bends, general scariness and fantastic views. The apartment covers the entire top floor of a two-storey building and is easily reached from Piazza Moressa down a stairway of 72 steps. You enter the flat through kitchen/living area. The interior is furnished in a typical local style, pleasant and comfortable. The master bedroom, with a super kingsize bed and air conditioning unit, has a bathroom en-suite with window view of the sea and a door leading to the terrace. The second bedroom which lies behind master bedroom accessible from entrance hall also has a kingsize bed. There is no window in this bedroom but a stand up fan is provided. A second bathroom is in the entrance hall with shower and washing machine. The living area, with air conditioning unit, has a fully functional kitchen and everything you may need to prepare meals, table and seating for four and a settee. From the bi-folding doors you exit to the amazing sea view terrace, with two sun loungers and a table with four chairs , where many have spent watching sun rises and sun sets and that glass of wine at the end of a busy sightseeing day.
