Casa Rizatto lies just 150m from the long sandy beach of Platanias and within walking distance of all amenities, allowing a car free holiday. This two bedroomed, 164m2, property has recently been renovated to a high standard and offers modern comfort in a superb location. With outdoor space to dine and relax, beautifully designed interior and located in a prime position for effortless accessibility to the resort, beach and Rethymno town, Casa Rizatto is a home from home. The villa can accommodate 6 people in beds in its 3 bedrooms and up to 8 people if necessary.


The property is entered from the patio which contains a 6 seater outdoor dining table, gas barbecue and seating area. Casa Rizzato offers open plan living spread over one level. Pale, stone wall features and clean, modern design run throughout the house with attention to detail.


The main entrance opens into the open plan lounge and kitchen. A large comfortable sofa and armchair provide a great spot to relax and perhaps enjoy a film on the 50" Smart TV. Also, providing a comfortable and convenient stay, the villa is equipped with a computer and writing desk, which guests may utilize for work, study or music management in the pool area.


The simple kitchen provides all you need to rustle up a breakfast or light lunch with an oven, 2 ring hob and all appliances required for a self catered holiday. The kitchen island with 4 high backed stools provides a casual dining experience for enjoying breakfast or a light lunch.


The first of four bathrooms featured in this property is located behind the kitchen and has a vessel sink and shower cubicle. Beyond the lounge, a separating door creates privacy between the sleeping and living areas and leads to a corridor from which one reaches the two ensuite bedrooms. There is a further private bathroom just off of the corridor with a vessel sink and rain shower. The washer / dryer is also conveniently placed in this bathroom, providing access for all party members.


The first spacious ensuite bedroom pops with colour from the oversized headboard on the Queen size bed (1,80 x 2,00) and a wall mounted 32" Smart TV is available for some late night television. Patio doors lead to the shared veranda. The ensuite bathroom has dual vessel sinks and a shower with a hydromassage facility.


The generously sized second ensuite bedroom is decorated with rich colours and fabrics used in the design. It features a king size bed (1,60 x 2,00) and a two seater sofa bed that can sleep one person if required. A 32" Smart TV is wall mounted and patio doors lead to the shared veranda.The ensuite bathroom has a sink and shower. To enhance your stay, every room in the villa features balcony doors and windows with screens and motion sensors installed, as well as a Smart TV featuring Satellite channels for your entertainment and relaxation. The third bedroom features a king size bed (1.60 x 2.00).


Outdoor area
The 600m2 outdoor area wraps around the property, with a variety of places to relax and unwind with each offering a different perspective. Paved verandas, lawn covered areas, palms and beautiful landscaping combine to create a very attractive exterior. The outdoor facilities include:
- A 32 m2, private swimming pool equipped with state-of-the-art swim jet technology that allows for invigorating exercise and training sessions at your convenience. Additionally, indulge in the ultimate relaxation at the built-in two-seater hydromassage feature also available. The pool can be heated upon request with an additional daily charge for the entire stay and it requires at least one week advance notice.
- The pool terrace is equipped with 6 high quality wooden sun beds with padded mattresses, 4 umbrellas, and a hammock perfect to relax on while soaking up the sun, as well as several seating areas and an outdoor shower for your comfort.
- Al fresco dining becomes as easy as possible with the presence of the gas BBQ frill, mini fridge and dishwasher for easy clean-up, next to the outdoor dining area for 6. As a part of our commitment to providing a safe and comfortable stay for our guests, the BBQ area is fitted with carbon monoxide detectors, as well as a water filter to minimize the use of single-use plastic bottles.
- A swing, further seating area, a basketball hoop for some outdoor entertainment are also available at the rear part of the outdoor area.
- 2 childrens bikes with helmets and a bicycle rack are also provided, as well as a static bike for those who wish to stay active during their holiday.
- Additionally, our villa boasts a diverse selection of herbs, including fresh mint, which can be used to create refreshing mojitos for our guests to enjoy.
- A separate seating area on the shared veranda outside the bedrooms, under a pergola for some quiet time and shade, is also available.
- Parking space for 2 cars inside the villa premises.
- The villa has its own private gated entrance and is totally fenced, offering privacy to our guests.


Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that the villa upholds best practices in environmental preservation. Caza Rizzato is equipped with photovoltaic panels that provide electricity, and a solar water heater that supplies hot water, minimizing our carbon footprint. Finally, we have implemented a waste management system that includes separate recycling bins for each type of recyclable material. We believe in promoting sustainable tourism and hope to inspire our guests to do the same.


** Starting January 1, 2024, a new Greek tax was introduced which is called the "Climate Crisis Resilience Charge," requiring a fee of EUR10 per night from March to October and EUR4 per night from November to February. The amount needs to be paid in cash or by card upon your arrival at the villa.
