To the other end of the room is a fantastic, fully-equipped kitchen, with sleek white fittings, all the latest mod cons, and tons of surface space to make cooking a breeze. Nestled alongside this is your lovely large dining table, from which you can enjoy views across your pool terrace and even out to the sea!

The first of these marvellous bedrooms can be found on this ground floor, featuring a large double bed, simple modern designs and direct garden access. The remaining three rooms are on the first floor, all of which are as stylish and elegant as the last and have a lovely large set of French doors onto the first-floor terrace. Step out onto this incredible terrace for the most majestic views across the sea, as you sit back in these comfortable seats around the coffee table, sipping your morning cuppa and enjoying the gentle breeze rolling in off the sea. Each room features a brilliant bathroom, some in an open-plan style, creating a sense of freedom in your perfectly private space. All four feature immense walk-in showers and smooth white fittings, all wrapped in dazzling marble and each with a hairdryer.

The pool itself stretches the width of the terrace, inviting you to take a refreshing dip in its lapping water. With a stay in Villa Ay 2, you could hardly be better placed to enjoy Turkey’s gorgeous Lycian Coast, tucked just a short walk from the centre of Kalkan, in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains.

Kalkan is an enchanting former fishing village that has undergone a spectacular transformation over recent years to become an increasingly popular beach resort, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Taurus Mountains! In the centre of the town, just 2km away, is a small pebble beach perfect for snorkelling and from here you can take a boat trip out to the impressive Blue Cave.

And while we’re on beaches – just a 10-minute drive away is the picture-perfect beach of Kaputaş, a striking gorge where luminous turquoise seas meet the dazzling white beach, a perfect bay of beauty set against the striking backdrop of the impressive cliffs dramatically dropping off into the sea! And only 20 minutes north is the world-famous twelve kilometre stretch of golden sands of Patara Beach, backed by ancient Lycian ruins and with the most magnificent sunsets!

The town boasts a stunning architecture, with whitewashed houses reminiscent of the nearby Greek islands, with the contrasting and dazzling ubiquitous bougainvillaea creating endless photogenic streets. And if you’re looking to explore the surroundings, you can’t get much better than a brief saunter along the historic Lycian Way hiking path, a marked walking route covering over 500km offering breathtaking views across this impressive coastline and the endless azure sea. There are also innumerable fascinating sites of ruins, including Canthos, Patara, Tlos, Myra and Letoon, tucked amid this luscious landscape.

End of stay cleaning included?
Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

No, guests are requested not to smoke inside the house.

Insurance?
Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
