Town: Just eight miles from Skipton, the starting point for the Yorkshire Dales, the mediaeval market town of Barnoldswick is located in the Pennine hills amid lovely rolling scenery. It is proud of its manufacturing heritage, which spans from a significant textile sector to the production of modern aircraft engines at the Rolls Royce factory.
