The fishing-friendly Blagdon Lake is northeast of the settlement, and the Organic Gardens and a Yeo Valley dairy with a café are also close by. The Mendip Hills are a picturesque walking and cycling destination that should not be missed. There is undoubtedly something in the neighbourhood to suit every taste, including a traditional day at the beach in Weston-super-Mare.
