Sleeping
Bedroom: Separated from the main sitting room by sliding doors, this room can be part of the living area during the day and closed off at night. There is a large double bed, a small table and chair and a flat-screen TV.
Extra: The sofa in the living area converts into a comfortable double bed.

Location
Set in beautiful countryside, in south-eastern Umbria, the town of Spello is an ideal base to explore the region. Spello is known for its flower festival in early June. It has many interesting historical sites and is surrounded by olive groves.

Assisi, with its famous cathedrals and shrines to St Francis, is just 20 minutes away by car. The stunning city of Perugia is a 30-minute drive. The town of Montefalco (30 minutes) is famous for its fine red wines. Visitors will find many different vineyards where they can try the wine and buy directly from the producers.

For self-catering, Spello’s weekly market takes place every Wednesday morning. Here you can find everything from food and flowers to clothes and handbags. There is also a supermarket a few minutes from the main town gates.

The closest airport is at Perugia a 21-minute drive away.
