The narrow streets and alleys are paved with cobblestones and there are many historic buildings to admire. Monticello is only a few kilometers from the sandy beaches of l'Ile-Rousse and the immediate vicinity is home to nice restaurants where you can enjoy the local specialties, such as the famous Corsican wine. You can enjoy the Ile-Rousse beach which is only 3 km from the house, or the beautiful and numerous beaches of Balagne. For sports enthusiasts there are tennis courts 3 km away, an equestrian center 3 km away or the Reginu Golf Club which is less than 9 km away. The Reginu Golf Club is certainly a 9 hole, but a very technical 9 hole. To discover absolutely is the Parc de Saleccia which is less than 5 km away, it is an exceptional site on 7 hectares of vegetation, Corsican and Mediterranean, staged by a landscaper.
